Hello fellow May Mummies.
Well today I've been booked in for a caesarean on 5th May! Eeeeek! Due to measuring bigger than average and after having a bad birth with my little boy I've been told this is the best option for me. Its the weirdest feeling ever knowing when this one is arriving.
I'm sad that i'll miss the excitement of labour but hey ho you have to do whats best in the long run.
Just thought I'd share my news with you. I could have jumped the queue as far as Apr 24th but thankfully they couldn't fit me in. Which is great as I still have loads to do!

Hows everyone doing? I'm starting to get impatient! I hate being late and keep trying to get my head around the idea that I might have another 7 weeks to go yet if I go over. The other part of me keeps getting excited and thinking I'm full term in under 2 weeks and really want baby to come out soon (but after that so that all is well obviously!) xx

I was absolutely fine bumbling along until 32 weeks but since then I've definitely started to lose patience! At least I'm not the only one - we can help each other! Just been cheered up by seeing that kandle has had her baby at 38 weeks! See labour and birth section x

Yeah I seen that. Gives us hope that not everyone goes overdue. My mum keeps saying he will be a June baby but i keep telling her to stop it cos I want him in may. My mums birthday is 24th may so would be nice if just by chance he was born the same day xx

Some days I'm fed up and other days I'm ok. It wasn't till last week that I started to think I could go overdue by 2 weeks!!!!! I would not be amused at that haha. I do want baby to stay in there till at least 37 weeks though.

I feel ok at the moment, really happy not to be working anymore and enjoying my mat leave

It doesnt seem like long until im full term really - 5 weeks left, not long considering im going to have another person relying on me for at least the next 18 years! lol

I really really hope he comes early - i dont qant to go until 40 weeks or even longer because one of my best friends is moving to OZ the 2nd week of June and i really want a night out with her before she goes. Plus i have another good friends wedding on 10th June and im desperate to go to that.....

My hips are starting to ache/feel pressure when I stand up/walk - anyone else had this? I'm wondering if it could mean that baby is moving down and starting to engage? I hope so xx

Im getting exicted now Ill be in uk from friday so if anything happens Im not worried ... I realy would like lil man to come a little early but if I go two weeks over Ill get over it Im just very impatient this time!

Ive not had any hip aches but after walking for about 10 mins I have to sit down for a few seconds cos my bump gets so painful and heavy ...
