May Mummies!!!!

better start waddling then you might get here for my due date :)

I will fly with my supersized granny pants!!!! Wont be long :p

Catty that's how mine felt when I was in labour, some were stronger/painful more than others but once established they all became painful lol. Fingers crossed this is the start for you.

It's a good job that I phoned the midwife, she hadn't gotten it written down. Anyway, she's given me a sweep (off the record bless her) she said my cervix had disappeared and she could easily get her 2 fingers in there (sorry tmi) she thinks again, that I may go on my own. Anyway, just after she left the labour suite phoned and said that they'd got an available place for my induction on Tuesday! I told the midwife I could have kissed her! Hahaha. So this boy as got 48 hours and he's going to be here whether he likes it or not!!!

PP - I had better go soon, I'm not being left all alone! Great news though, you must be excited. Hopefully you will go on your own (at the same time as me)

My pains have got stronger but much further apart so I don't know what that means. I wish something spectacular would happen like my waters going or some massive regular contractions. The not knowing is killing me. I want to get out of the house to take my mind off it but I am literally weeing every 5 mins at the moment so that's not really feasible.

Come on babies

Catty that's sounding really positive. How long have you been like this now? An hour or 2? If so, then I would try and keep walking around to fetch them on a bit stronger.

Funnily enough my BH's are coming every 10 minutes now and are painful. They'll go away though I know they will.

Well it's bit complicated.

I had random pains from 2.30am till 10am ish which I didn't time as I was sleeping and just woke up loads when I had pains.

I then had regular period type pains (very mild) every 10 min or so from 10am till about midday.

From midday till now they have been much stronger (grip the sofa cushion but can still talk) but really sporadic, anywhere from 10 mins to 40 mins apart and lasting anywhere from 1 minute to 4 minutes.

I have had 2 poops, one of them was a bit loose which is something I have never had before. Maybe I have just got a bit of a jippy tummy or is it a clear out. Grr. I need a flashing light on my head to go off when I'm labour so I know.

Every time I get a pain my OH is asking 'is it a baby coming owwie?' it's sweet but I think were both getting frustrated with my response of 'I don't know'

PP - That sounds good, maybe we can go together. It would be lovely if we could both go into labour this evening and be able to moan to each other about the pain. x

your body is definatly gearing up it sounds like your in the very early stages of labour

eeeeeek.

I just told my OH I think this might be it and he's now frantically running round doing chores, tidying up and checking the hospital bags. What do you reckon, should I break it to him It's going to be hours yet or wait until the house is clean?

I really hope this is it now, I will be so disappointed if it turns out to be nothing.

x

Let him clean the house first then break the news to him

Hope it happens for you soon xx

That's what I'm thinking :)

I've just sent him to Sainsburys to buy me a new Wii game to take my mind off the pain and wondering if this is it. When he gets back I might drop some hints about how long it's been since the hoovering was last done.

Sorry everyone for my constant posts today. I'm just so excited that something seems to be happening.

PP - any news, those BH still coming regularly? I need a labour buddy x

yeah let him clean the house id wait a little longer and go and have a bath if its true labour the contractions will carry on through having a bath
i think once he has done everything tell him you think its a false alarm just to see how he reacts lol

Thanks Midnight. They are every 10 mins at the moment and have been for almost an hour. I'm scared to go in the bath in case they go away but I will in a bit.

My Wii game is here now so that should keep my mind off things for a while.

x

yeah just wait a lil bit and keep timing them dont do anything to energetic though this could go on for quite a bit so you need to reserve you energy tell your otherhalf something nice to eat would be nice haha

What game did you get for the wii. Hope its not too energetic or you will have no energy for the labour :) xx

Mine are sporadic but I'm not convinced they're the real deal. It's probably just the after effects of the sweep this morning.

Catty have a bath, when you get out and they're still there you'll know whether it's labour or not.
