Do you have to go back to work at some point? Or are you planning on becoming a full time mommy?
I'm going to be a new mom as well but I want to eventually get the baby on a sleep schedule because I only have 4 months of maternity leave then it's back to work I go in September. My partner also works Monday - Friday and won't be getting any time off. I just been reading that if you tend to the baby every two seconds they will have a hard time sleeping through the night. I love my little bub already but when I go back to work I need to be able to sleep to function or I will go nuts![]()
Gosh, hope you get a good sleeper! I heard that you cant really sleep train til 6-8 months as thats about the point where they dont need a night feed, but on a facebook sleep group i'm on , there are people complaining and trying to get 6 week olds to sleep through the night!!! mostly american. So maybe if maternity leave is generally so short over there thats why there are so many desparate to get newborns sleeping through....
