Morning Ladies,

Had a rubbish sleep last night, with me I'm fine once I am asleep and I am quite settled ( the odd toss and turn ) but its actually falling asleep that I can't seem to master I always lie awake for ages trying to get comfy and then suddenly I wake up in the morning and don't remember falling asleep.

I've loved having the full double bed to roll about it (hubbys been working away) he is home tonight around 2am so no doubt my sleep will be disturbed....... that's if I am sleeping lol will be nice to have him home though

My cot arrived last night - I LOVE IT!!!!! Can't wait to get my bedding washed and get it all ready for baby, I'll attach a pic to share with you ladies.

I also got his personalised name train yesterday, I had bought it last week from eBay for £12, its so lovely, its going to hang above his cot its handmade and I just think its beautiful, I'll also attach a little picture of that.

I have the midwife tomorrow (hoping not to get a parking ticket this time) I don't think I have anything to query with her, I'm hoping she does my birth plan at this appointment though, she hasn't mentioned it. I also hope I have my original midwife, last appointment she was off and there was another midwife taking her appointments, she looked about 70 and didn't know her arse from her elbow, it didn't fill me with confidence.

Lovely cot! I've had my nursery done for a few weeks now and love popping my head in to take a peek. The awful smell from the new carpet has finally started to disappear now too, so I don't feel like I'm walking into a chemical factory anymore lol.

We stayed at a hotel with a superking bed when I was about 10wks pregnant and I loved it so much that I insisted we buy one. It's brilliant because I can fit my massive maternity cushion in and hubby doesn't whine about being forced out of the bed lol.

I'd love a name train or similar, but we still haven't decided on a name. Arghh!

I have midwife too tomorrow! I've only had a substitute once because mine was ill with bronchitis. The sub was lovely though, I'd be happy to see her again.

Oh blimey I've just gone and eaten goats cheese! Was really hungry and the only salad left at work was the goats cheese one complete with rind. Didn't eat the rind and was only going to eat the salad around the gosts cheese, but couldn't help myself and had a nibble and then couldn't stop. Feel so guilty now.

I had goats cheese a few times recently kautostar, with the rind but cooked (well, melted). I've avoided most things that are on 'the list' but at the same time I've thought the risks are so low (and like my mom keeps telling me - we didn't have any of this nonsense when I was pregnant!) that I'm not going to worry if I have the odd thing. I'm sure you'll be fine xxx

4th NCT class tonight, we have to do a little talk on the use of aromatherapy in labour. In last week's we tried out a few positions for labour, OH couldn't keep a straight face as they all looked like weird positions from an out there sex manual!!!

Good news, babys fine and there's only issues when the acids are higher than 16. Still have to get my bloods done every week. After looking at my other levels closely they're aren't far off normal so I'm glad things are fine.

Sproglett, what a good weight, I was 7lbs7 at 42 weeks! Baby has lovely nostrils!

I'm feeling movement quite low this week, he is feeling like he might fall out when I walk! Lol. Bit sore down there too when sitting down, feel like i need to sit on a packet of peas! My concentration has gone out the window too, only wrote 150 words on my dissertation today - due in on the 23rd! X

Is anyone else feeling like they need to clean the house top to bottom? It's my last day at work tomorrow so had planned to spend Monday having a big clean and I literally can't wait till then, gonna be saturday now haha xxxx

I feel like that too jazzy, keep getting fanny daggers and sometimes when it shifts about it actually feels like im having a wee! Definitely getting more uncomfortable in the whole bump area! X

Oh goodness I'm soooo uncomfortable this last week... Aches and pains everywhere and now today he Dr said there's glucose in my urine so hav to go for fasting bloods tomoro morning

Ashleigh- your cot looks lovely!

I have been sorting out baby's room (now that I have one!) this week. Laura Ashley have a sale on and their stuff is now at normal shop prices!! Got lovely stripey wallpaper there for £9 per roll, reduced from £20. Matched that with the "Henri" range of accessories at babiesrus and it is coming along nicely. Set up the cot I got from my friend, and used our existing furniture. Baby has SO MANY clothes!! Did not realise until I started unpacking them from the storage bags. At this rate, he will only wear each outfit once. Most are hand-me-downs but I have some fave outfits in there. Found my son's christening outfit too - so cute!

Cleaned the room from top to bottom today, and moved all the stuff we had put up in the loft into there - pushchair, carrycot, highchair, etc. I'll post some pics when it is finished. NOW it feels real, that I am having a baby in 3 weeks time!!

Is everyone else organised? I still have my hosp bag to finish packing (done the one for baby). have to sort out the kitchen and make space for a steriliser etc. what else? Oh yeah, print my birthplan from my old laptop. And make OH build the other wardrobe in our bedroom so we can stop storing 2 huge mirror doors on the landing...

AND... pack away all my work clothes for 6 months - yay!!

Oh I'm so tired today! My eyes just feel glazed over! I've been waking up loads the last few nights. Just wish I could stay still and not turn over - must do this in a sleepy daze 10-15 times per night. My pelvis really hurts when I do it, but it hurts all day now just wonder what labour will be like being in that pain!!!!

I'm pleased about your little one's weight Sproglett - that's excellent news.

Loving reading through posts but I don't know what's wrong with me - still can't keep up haha!

Fao - ooh packing away the work clothes - I've done hospital bags for both baby and myself but mine isn't totally finished as there's last minute stuff to put in.

I've been ironing baby stuff and put the first bits in the drawer and wardrobe yesterday - so exciting! We went to Ikea to get me a chair for the nursery and also to Mothercare to pick up a crib mattress. We just need more crib and Moses basket sheets now! Nursery still isn't tidy enough for photos - still have the pushchair unfolded and car seat, and laundry in the middle of the room! It's bugging me ladies! I'll not go into the extension work! Can't wait until it's finished!!!

Hope the bloods are nothing serious Gemma , I have to finish my bag off towel needs putting in and some deodorant forgot to get some for my bag doh lol I've to do kitchen aswel to make room for bottles milk and steriliser so need to basicaly have a cupboard empty for the baby stuff I've been putting it off cos I hate that job lol , anyways today is a gawjus day here sun is shinning washing is out I always feel loads better when the sun shines so I may get some energy and do some more housework lol I've just cut my jasmine plant back I say plant it's more like a massive bush now but gawjus wen it flowers not to mention the giant wasps I've just seen eek I think they been taking steroids lol have a nice day ladies xx
