* * * * * May 2014 Mummies * * * * *

Haha jazzy breech with his feet by his face? Showing his bum to the world then lol.. I've woken up with horrendous back pain right in the middle of my back :( must have slept funny or something.. Hope it goes away soon! X

Sorry to hear about your OH's gran Cherry. Yes, lots of breaks! The new maternity clothes sound very good! My leggings are looking silly now - they don't feel too tight just look it! You know when the seams aren't straight - either I've put on weight on my calf or I'm swelling! I'm going to try not to buy anything more! I've got some nice summery coloured tops to wear when the weather gets nice (we've just had the fog all week and no sun!) hope your back pain goes away.

I had awful pain yesterday evening all over my bump - trapped wind or pains when you have a sickness bug is the best way I can describe it! So much movement - but big movements right up near my rib cage. Not bad for first day of bump making me uncomfortable - I suppose I've done well at nearly 34 weeks! Headache still lingering. Seems like even if I move my head quickly or unexpectedly it starts up again!

I've got lots of stuff to wash next week (brought it from my parents house as we don't have room to keep it whilst decorating nursery!) so hope I'm feeling better to enjoy doing that. My friend is doing a baby shower for me on Sunday so hopefully I'll feel ok and it'll go well. I've been teary for the first time this week so lots of deep breaths up control myself lol

Xx

I'm the same, don't post a massive amount, but do read everything!

Cornishfairy - So far I have packed 2 bottles of Lucozade sport, 2 bottles of water, bag of fruit pastels, bag of starburst, bar of galaxy choc (bigger than normal size) ;)... straws, haribo, grapes and when I know that I need to go to hosp I'm going to make up a couple of ham sandwiches. You'll notice there is nothing healthy in there apart from some grapes lol.

Vic - Glad it was nothing serious, that's good you got a nice doc, normally they try and get you in and out as quick as possible but he sounds nice :)

Suffolkmum - Yes I know what you mean with wanting those things new, what swing are you after? I got the mamas and papas slumber swing for £69.99 which I thought was a good price, it has music settings and also diff speed settings, that was brand new from the shop.

Fao - Yes it could be that as there's no other reason I can think of that could have caused it like clothing or reaction or anything, its maybe just with the heat - my chest is the worst - itching as we speak!

Cherrybelly - That's not so good news, sorry for your loss. I hope whoever is driving is aware of how many "pee stops" you'll need for that length of drive lol.

Have a good day & happy Friday! :cheer:. X

I'm going for the Graco Sweetpeace swing. It's mains-powered, which should be a boon as my son loved his swing but the amount of batteries it went through drove me crazy lol.

I wanted to buy the old swing again as it lets you switch the seat from moving back/forwards to sideways as well and my son only liked the latter. They only sell the mains-powered one in the US though and I decided against importing it in case I needed to make a warranty claim.

The Graco is on offer at kiddicare for £128 at the moment. It's a lot of money, but hopefully will be the swing that does everything baby needs lol. I looked at a Mamaroo, but I'm not sure it has the right moves if this baby is anything like my son was lol! Plus it's nearly £200!

The pains are weird Cherry, I think it's just because I haven't had them in bump before. I actually felt like I wanted to hold bump up from underneath! Ooh constipation pains! Nice! X

Yes - nice lol. We've been to mine and done a lot of sorting which is good and I'm now sitting in a beautiful church where my dad is about to do a choir solo - bless him. I am at least the youngest by about 30 years but hey ho, I'm still excited!! I wonder what bump will make of a choir?? Thanks for the add ladies, it's weird working out who everyone is!! My name isn't even cherry lol, that was the fruit size my prev bump was when I joined.. X

Here is my FB page https://www.facebook.com/joanne.honeyman feel free to add me :) , can I ask you ladies a question about where u get hiccups ? Seems I was getting them quite low down but they are now around my belly button area just to the right :-/ does that mean baby has shifted ? Also movements are a bit difrent like baby is stretching out and I get fanny daggers right in my foof and then a lump sticks out above my belly button , it's confused me a lot , bh have went up a notch aswel now feeling a tad uncomfy when they come and I've started to swell I. Hands n feet oh joy lol , here is a bump pic from this morning I feel like a big fat Heffer lol

Aww lovely. Enjoy! Mine is on Sunday. I'm hoping to have a lovely afternoon and get some nice photos to put in an album! Today I feel like I should be put down but hoping I'll be ok on Sunday lol. Then I can concentrate on baby stuff. Though I've got quite a busy week next week I'm hoping to get some washing done!

Oh Jojo bless you, enjoy your chilling though x

Cherry - you aren't called Cherry? It came as a shock to me ;) enjoy the choir, sounds beautiful xx

I'll do Facebook stuff when I get home from work, today is dragging on and on and on!
walking down the corridor at work today and a woman stops me "you look a lady who knows where the nearest toilet is"! thankz for that!

I Googled the hiccup location thing the other day and it's not reliable to where baby iz apparently. I was getting them at my left hip but now I get them nearer belly button ans can feel from the outside.
baby movements have changed too, I get lots of movement wriggling at the top centre of my bump and I get the shifting feeling inside which can make me desperate to go for a wee! However this morning I swear he had his feet poking out in front of my ribs when I sat down!

oh and baby showers! how exciting! I'm not having one, tok much hassle for me to arrange! lol.

is it bedtime yet? x

It should be bedtime jazzy! But I hate bedtime as my headache returns in the morning and my pelvis feels like it's breaking when I move lol. See - I can't even get excited about bedtime lol! I was asked if I wanted a baby shower by one of my friends and she's organising it. It's still stressed me out so I feel like I've ended up asking for one when I haven't. It's very American! Hope my friends don't buy me lots, or anything actually, as that not why I want one. I just thought it would be nice to have nearly everyone together and maybe some photos to remember it. I don't have enough bump pics! I've gone through the glam glowing phase haha!

Oh that sounds like a 'nice' encounter with that woman! Deary me x
