*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

What a cheeky little monkey Rachy. Funny how babies seem to do that...makes us look like total numpties!!!!!

Thank you ladies. It was such a relief. You're right rachelb, they do make us look like numpties!

They've not long rung me, I've got to go in at 11.30. Hopefully everything will still be fine and dandy and I'll be home in no time.

Hope everyone is well and have lovely plans for this weekend xx

I love thank you for asking :-) all was well and I was back home by 1pm. They were happy with the results and just mentioned that if I have any more concerns then come back down.

I'm seeing my MW Monday and Thirsday next week and the week after so that's reassuring too.

I've just had a super clean with my husband. We've done all the windows (cleaned them within an inch of their life!) then pulled everything in every room out and hoovered. I've bad to sit down, my pelvis is in agony. Silly I know but I was feeling very energetic! I'm ready for a nap!

How is everyone's weekend going?xxx

Glad to hear all is well :)

I had a nice Saturday. We went to see our friends in the morning, and then my hubby took my parents to the airport while I played with my son. We had some good quality time together (including playing with Chuggington trains - crawling on all fours on the floor is supposed to be good for you, right? :) and having a 'picnic' on the stairs eating some chocolate cream). I'm feeling a bit sad that my parents left for two weeks and a bit anxious that I might have a baby before they are back... Hopefully not! But never mind, they had to go...

We had pub lunch with my mum and then went to the nct nearly new sale and got some 3-6 month clothes aaaand then did the food shop and got some food in for our friends to come over tomorrow for our last get together before baby arrives. :)

I've been having niggly pains all day low down where period pains would be and an achey back. Hopefully signs that baby is moving down into my pelvis and finally engaging ready for his arrival. OH is freaking out with every 'ooo' or 'ahh' I utter and is convinced baby is on his way haha. I've said of course he's on his way but this stage may last week's lol!!

I posted a topic about christening v naming ceremony. Starting to wish I hadnt now. Apart from the odd few like yourself Podpie I have had nothing useful and people telling me that it isnt just about a pretty church and an excuse for a party!!!.

Would worry abut anyone else's opinion! All that matters is what you think is best! Xxxx

I started loosing what I thought was my plug yesterday- a load more this morning confirms that it must be. No bloody show or anything, & I know it doesn't mean anyhing imminent but atleast its a step in the right direction. Horrendous back pain yesterday and today so I'm just going to try and stay on my feet or bounce all day! Jays got up & gone back to bed and I've just crawled round the living room on my hands & knees picking up fibres from the rug as I only hoovered yesterday! Xxx

Apologies ladies but Im feeling a tad soppy this morning. Am lying here in bed with my hubby next to me and thinking just how damn lucky I am. I have a baby on the way that I have made with my soul mate and love of my life. I'm so glad he is here and not off fighting in a foreign country.
With all the troubles going on in the world makes me so grateful for the little things in life like waking up next to him....even if he is snoring his head off!!!!

Awww Rachel that's lovely. I get like that sometimes too. Then he goes and opens his mouth and brings me back down to earth hahaha. Seriously though, I feel like a very lucky girl. :)

I've just had a whole 9 hours sleep with only one trip to the loo. Unheard of!

Gf plug sounds promising. Hope you don't get too tierd bouncing.

Ah Rach that's lovely. Hormones making you soppy definitely! I've been crying at silly things so my hormones are all over the place.

Last two evenings I've have three hours of stomach cramps, nausea, massive bowel clear out (sorry tmi!) and loss of a bit of plug. Thought it might kick off into labour but nothing came about. Obviously like you said gf could still be weeks to go so just a waiting game!

I'm officially fully cooked today! :D and maternity leave starts today too!
Only a few weeks to goooooo. :) xx

Tiggy- I've been how you've described for the last 2 weeks! Loosing my plug is (although I know not imminent) a sign that my body is finally starting to progress! My back was so bad yesterday & my mum kept looking at me funny but wouldn't say why, I text her this morning to tell her I was loosing my plug & apparently that's why she was looking at me funny yesterday because she knew things where going on! I've just gone on a massive cleaning mission and now I've sat down I've got painful period types cramps! Gonna have a snooze in a minute I think! Xxxx

Anyone else think it's totally unacceptable for my OH to tell me he doesn't want a baby? He seems to think he has every right to say it because he's been saying it since we found out we're pregnant and it was my decision to keep the baby...
Doesn't matter how many times I tell him how upsetting it is, he won't stop.

He's been very supportive and helpful the last few months and says he's excited about the baby coming and things...then he goes and says he doesn't even want a baby. I don't know if he's doing it to upset me or what, but either way it's horrible.

We had a huge argument this morning and I told him that he's behaving like hes better than me (His response "I am"), so I said if he thinks he's better than me why is he with me and he said because you're pregnant and I'm stuck with you. So I told him fine, its over. Now we're sitting in opposite ends of the house, he's tried speaking to me since but I want nothing to do with him at the moment. He said he wants to be friends again (his way of non-apologising) and I told him i don't want to be friends.

I really don't think I'm overreacting...

We have friends coming over in a matter of hours to celebrate the baby yet I honestly just feel like running away.

I think genuinely if he doesn't want baby, and is only with you because of baby, you'd be better off being single. As daunting as that sounds, it's better than being in a strained/tense relationship. :(

It's very hurtful of him to say something like that (especially being so close to due date) and I'm not sure he'd still be in the house if it was me xx

The trouble is he has been really supportive and he always says things he doesn't mean when he's angry but I don't think that excuses him saying something THAT hurtful.

He has now apologised and begged for forgiveness but I'm finding it hard to warm up to him again.

I suppose it depends on how much you're willing to tolerate. It's a totally personal thing. Maybe just ask him to give you space for a bit today, give you time to think. Enjoy your friends being over, and try not to stress too much. Xxx

Oh my goodness Podpie :( that is totally unacceptable! I think he needs to do more than just apologise, those are really hurtful things to say, whether he meant them or not! It doesn't excuse his behaviour but it does sound to me like he's worried about having a baby hence him saying that he doesn't want to have a baby. I think you need to have a think about what is best for you, if he continues behaving in that kind of way, especially when your baba comes, it's not going to do you any good at all. I know sometimes it's easier to just accept an apology and just get on with things, but please don't do that, he needs to know how seriously wrong it is for him to say those things. Sending you hugs xxxx
