*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

TTC gosh you are a strong woman! I live from one nap to the other. Couldn't do without them!

Hang on there xx

Hey ladies,
Just back from the midwife and BP is down so that's good. Babys bum is sticking out my front right side now, so he's kind of sideways with him arms and legs on my left. She said it's working getting him to move so continue on all 4's etc.
I am 37+4 today but she measured me again at 36cm.... Should I be worried? I didn't ask questions but I'm seeing her every week. I was measured at 36cm last week xx

George asda have got a 20% off all baby & kids sale but it's only 48 hours & ends tomorrow. I've taken advantage & bought some 3-6 month stuff! Xxx

I've been measuring 34 weeks for the last 3 weeks, wouldn't worry Hun if she was concerned she would've said! It's not overly accurate, your bump will change shape/size as baby moves down into your pelvis xx

Oh that's good Sarah! Sounds like he is not back to back anymore! Mine is a little bit in an angle too, but still far from perfect :(

I measured 1 cm big on my last appointment, and my MW said it's nothing to worry about. I think +/- 1 cm is not considered a big deal, as it's all not that accurate. My MW said it depends on the baby's position, etc. Just make sure that she measures you again next week x

Scan went well. Baby is measuring spot on the 50th centile for our dates. She put all the measurements into the system and it gave an estimated due date of 5th March which is when it's supposed to be so clearly bub is right on schedule!
She estimated his weight at around 7lb 5oz so another couple of weeks cooking and I reckon he'll be between 8 and 9 pounds. Hoping he's not any bigger lol.

At the beginning of the scan she was referring to him as 'baby' but then she kept referring to him as him. "His hands are in front of his face", "he's quite tucked up" etc. This was without us mentioning we already know he's a boy, so it's a good job we weren't hoping to keep it a surprise as she would have ruined it! They need to be very careful what they're saying don't they?

Might pop to asda and take advantage of the sale and get some 3-6 month stuff. Thanks for the tip!

Ladies...apologies if tmi. Buttttt
How do you know if your waters have gone?!
I just went to the loo and my knickers were noticeably wet. Didnt smell overly urine like. Have put a pad on and will check again.
Do i need to ring midwife or anything?!
Had a few little niggly pains but nothing to make me go ow etc.
Could just be in my head.
What do you think?!

Podpie, I think maybe they just have a habit of calling the baby him or her. I doubt the sonographer actually knew who you are having, as she would need to check his bits specifically. Do you think she did that?

Anyway, glad your scan went so well! Must be nice to know what size your lo is likely to be. I have no idea! :)

She checked him all Over and I think I saw his boy bits so I'm sure she did too lol.

Ah OK :) On my scan she only looked at his bits at the last moment before finishing the scan. Don't know why :)

I've got a late MW appointment tonight.

After I spent the afternoon in the assessment unit last week, the doctor said I need to have a check up.

Still getting the white flashy lights. Mega heart palpitations, nausea and not being able to stand for longer than 2 mins without feeling dizzy/lightheaded. How can this be normal? I have felt pants since my hospital visit!

Xx

I'm just sitting here rubbing my bump & I've notice the top of it (directly under my breastbone until mid ribs on each side) is completely numb! It feels so weird! Xxx

Bump and I are settled with Eastenders!!! Time to start his soap education lol...

Rachy that doesn't sound too good :( hope you get this properly checked out!

GF oh that's strange, I wonder why this is?..

Oh GF I have the exact same thing and it's so sore too!

Thank you I.love.

All was ok BP, pulse and wee. My MW is concerned though about the lights and my palpitations so she has booked me in to see her twice every week for the next 2 weeks until my section.

MW has told me if anything worsens to get down to the hospital again.

She looked at all my blood tests from last week and can't understand why I'm having this so I'm glad I'm being monitored closely.

Xx

Rachy that doesn't sound fun :( when are you having your section? Hope you don't feel too rough. Xxx

It's so weird! Don't know if it's stretching but it's not anywhere that would be stretched if that makes sense?! Lol! Xxx

Cakey it's not too much fun at all!! Feeling a bit pants but glad I'm being monitored closely!

I'm having my section on 9th March so 2 weeks on Monday eeek!!

GF I know what you mean, I am carrying quiet high I think. I saw this diagram which shows how high up your uterus goes when full term. It goes way up there right underneath your boobs! Think that must be why or at least may be a good reason!

Xx

See I'm carrying quite low. My placenta is under my right ribs which is where she's also had her feet up until recently! Xxx

Rachy that's good that you MW takes this seriously! Hope it goes away soon x
