*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

This is my last day at work, woohoo! And I'm telling you I'm not planning to work hard today either :) meeting for a chat with my friend in the morning, then going to a pub with my colleagues later. And in between I will be packing my stuff, turning on out of office replies, writing goodbye emails, etc :) oh and we are going to yet another pub with my oh and parents in the evening to celebrate :) exciting!

Congrats on your last day of work! Great feeling isn't it!

Rachel b - did you ring midwife? It could be waters or it could just be discharge, mine has gone watery but not to the point where I'm soaking. The midwife will want to know if it is, I was told to ring if thought waters had gone as they will induce after 24 hours if labour isn't progressing.

Ive got a numb bit around my belly button...it's really squishy and feels weird but doesn't hurt or anything.

38 week midwife appointment this morning! Hoping she will tell me he is engaged and heading in the right direction but don't hold much hope for that. Will do a bit of ball bouncing before I go to encourage him.

I.love enjoy your last day! Yours sounds pretty relaxing! X

Enjoy ur last day in work I love.. 2weeks today and il be sayin the same.. woo hoo.. it will be so nice to finish..

Thanks ladies! My last day is going very nicely so far. We have an award system where colleagues can send vouchers to each other to say thanks for good work. I just got one from a bloke I work with. It's not huge, only £35, but still a nice surprise :) That's already more than I expected.

Can't stop crying :( my Mum's best friend died last night - not wholly unexpected as she's been poorly for a long time - but still a horrible shock.
Feel totally drained with crying - have a horrible headache too! :(
Bleugh!! :( xx

Feeling pretty crappy! Have spent some of this afternoon sleeping and woke up feeling horrendous. Obviously not coping with the upset very well just now. :/ bloody hormones xxx

I wonder how Rhondalou is doing! I guess it's very difficult with a newborn to try and get on to update everyone!
Xx

Blimey that's just reminded me-Facebook group! I'm so behind! Xx

Baby has been not very wriggly today. When I wake up in the morning I can usually feel her kicking about.

I only saw the MW last night :-/

I'm in the bath and usually she kicks away but not much is happening just the odd kick.

Any ideas to get things going ladies?xx

Chocolate and a fizzy drink Rachy! And maybe try left side lying. Xx

Nona sorry to hear your news. Grieving with these hormones is just horrible.

Midwife said this morning baby is 'well down' but she also booked me a term +10 appointment in case I go over. Fingers crossed it gets cancelled!
X

Ah thanks Nona I will try that! Not one to turn down chocolate either!xx

Grr I've drunk my coke and eaten my chocolate and now I've had to go out so no laying on my side!

I'm feeling a bit worried, she's usually a right fidget but only the odd movements today ....

Hi ladies, thank you I love for asking. I've just got back from labour ward as Id had no movement.

The monkey only started moving once I was on the trace! Tests all ok but they want me to go back tomorrow to be monitored to be on the safe side.

Xx

Rachy glad all is well! That's good that they are keeping a close eye on things x

Glad baby is okay Rachy, and it's very reassuring that they're keeping a close eye on you :) xx
