Hi ladies, I'll finish off my story from where I left off! We went back to the hospital at 6:30pm as contractions were very severe. After examination I was told I 5-6cm and could be given pain relief so had Gas & air as it worked wonders for me last time. Midwife did a handover at 7:15 and I asked for pethedine at that point as I was contracting 6 times in every 10 mins. However I was told it was too late as I was 8-9cm and was ready to start pushing!! Started pushing at 7:50 and he arrived at 20:23. No tearing or stitches which is a bonus! X
