Ladies I need to just vent........i am ready to kill my hubby!!! He is driving me absolutely mad. He is constantly snapping at me and is always grumpy when he gegs home from work. Havent even had a kiss or cuddle since he got in a few hours ago. He does nothing to help me round the house without me asking him to do it first. I just want him to see I need help and for him to offer rather than me ask!!!!

Aww i'm sure you will be ok. I think i read a post on here not that long ago about measuring wrong but when they had the growth scan all was fine. I know what you mean though, you sit by the phone all day long and hope they will call you the same day. Sleep is bad enough as it is for us without having to worry.

Rach tell me about it lol! My OH walks through the door 9 times out of 10 says hello to me and then goes and sits on his computer to wind down. We're in a different situation though as can tell its the stress of his job security and house moving. Mind you he has always been the type to get in from work, say hello give a kiss and then drink tea in silence. It's wind down man time! I find my OH really doesn't do much unless i throw down some hints. Oh gosh i am having a boy are they really this laid back lol? Have you spoken to him about it? I have found mine has been better since i have got a lot bigger, its a struggle to get out of my sunken sofa sometimes. Sending hugs, its been a bad day xxx

Sorry Sarah that sounds horrible getting lots of bad news at once is always the way it is but hopefully you can move forward and he might get a similar job with similar pay where you are. Fingers crossed for you.
Rachel that sucks do you think maybe it's hit home that your LO will be here soon? Sounds like he's kind of burying his head in the sand. Have you tried sitting down and talking to him when he's not so grumpy to tell him you need help? My OH was bad at just letting me do stuff but he's so much better now, I think I might have said something but it might also be how heavily pregnant I am too. Hope you get things sorted with him.
I'm starting to wonder what I'm going to do with myself when I go on Mat leave lol. I'm looking forward to it but then in a way I think I might get a bit bored. I told my OH I would probably get the bus to town and meet him from work once a week, it's a good walk for me. I hope I don't get all mopey being stuck at home xxx

Aww Sarah that is a totally crap day for you. I'm sorry it's all come at once. It's such a rocky situation when buying houses at the best of times but really seems like you have had your fair share of bad luck so hopefully there will be some good news for you around the corner; starting with baby!

Podpie please try not to worry about the growth scan. Yesterday I was measuring 32 weeks at 36 weeks when I had been 34 weeks measured at 34 weeks. I had a growth scan yesterday - all was fine, it was just baby moved down in my pelvis.

Fundal height measurements are notoriously known for being inaccurate as baby can change position, bloating and inaccuracy in measuring all make a difference. Good that your getting a scan to reassure you though.

Cakey can you think of things you would like to do with your time off? I've enjoyed doing some baking and cooking extra big meals so I can put some in the freezer for when we are too busy with baby. Also just spring cleaning, meeting up with friends for coffee and cake and pottering around the shops! And some chill out reading and watching TV? X

The midwife also said that he hasn't moved down into my pelvis yet though and she can still feel all of his head, so there's no reason I should be measuring smaller. I have no direct number for the midwife and I think the surgery closes at 5, so now I'm just left wondering.

they can lay flatter or midwive can easily get measurement wrong or you have less bloating. Please don't stress as long as babys moving ok be assured it's probably that. My midwive said my baby wasn't engaged as can still feel his head but he has still moved down into my pelvis from where he was. I know this from how I feel (less breathless, less heartburn and more toilet trips) Midwive warned me that I would wait up to 24 hrs for a scan time and date and to contact her if still not heard after 24 hrs. Maybe ring them in the morning to chase it up. Growth scans for reduced fundal height is really common and high chance everything is fine. Xxxx

My scan went well. Baby is estimated at 6lbs... Omggg I think I'm going to have a big baby... Hope I don't though I'm thinking of my poor parts lol.. As long as it's ok.. 5weeks to find out what we're having.. Oh maybe longer if go over
He asked what sort birth I wanted I said vbac..and even though I'm positive for group strep b he reckons still poss to have a water birth..

I think I did too much today, absolutely knackered and aching! Aqua natal last night too - there was a new lady taking it and it was more difficult! Then today I went shopping with a friend for ages and walked dog. About to have tea then it's a bath and early night for me!

12 days to due date...Need to start slowing down! Got hubby to agree to a foot rub so looking forward to that!

Sarah oh no, that's pants sorry about the bad news! Let's hope another good job comes around - 6 months is a long time, you never know! X

I had another blood test done for OC and it wasn't great. So I need to go for a liver scan today at 11, and am not allowed to eat before that! I'm starving already. Then another blood test on Tuesday and a consultant appointment on Wednesday. Things are getting pretty intense!

Most likely I will need to be induced, so it might be as little as just over 2 weeks before I have my baby! I'm starting to freak out.

Im wondering if the sonographer would be have a quick look at the baby if I asked him nicely? That would be so nice... I haven't seen my boy for so long

Good luck with your scan too. Always worth asking if the sonographer can have a cheeky look at the baby. Just means moving the pointer thing in a slightly different direction lol. No one needs to know haha.

I'm not worried this morning as bub has been dancing about like mad so Im pretty sure he's alright. The thought that something COULD be wrong is always a bit nerve wracking though.

Today should be a good day so long as everything goes right with the scan. Meeting my friend for lunch afterwards, we'll probably end up at the pizza hut buffet (we're so classy) as it's become a bit like tradition now lol.

I've got the last of the packing to do today-hopefully with help once the teenagers get their arses out of bed! So far I have had groans and rolled eyes lol. Feeling a bit stressed as I am the sort of person that likes everything set in stone and organised, and our right hand man told us last night he cant get to us until 1pm tomorrow...arrrgh! he is driving the van also so I am rallying family around to borrow cars to load the small stuff in the morning. Ooooh i'll be glad when this is done!

Today I'm going to unpack the last two boxes we have had in our spare room from when we moved in August! its mostly all charity shop material I expect, but may sell a few bits if I can be bothered! But will feel good to sort through it finally!

Thanks ladies, I just had my scan. She didn't tell me much - 'looks ok' was all I got about the liver, but she kept asking if I will be seeing a doctor this week, and when did I see one last... Strange - sounded like I needed to see someone? Was happy that I have an appointment next week though.

She did have a tiny look at the baby, just said that he is head down and she can see the heartbeat. I tried asking about him being back to back, and at that point she refused to say anymore as it's not the purpose of the scan. Oh well. She could tell me really, as first she used me for about 10 minutes to test different settings on me! A bloke came and they were chatting about graininess and power and penetration while using me as a guinea pig :-/

Demaris how is the packing going? Hope you get lots of help! We moved house last summer, I remember how difficult it was, even though before that we were renting and didn't have any of our own furniture to worry about. x
