*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

Demaris glad all went well :)
Sarah that's if we move to a not so nice area (ex council estate) the nice areas are creeping upwards and upwards. I live on the south coast but in "tye northern city of the south" so it's a real area of deprivation. We need to be commutable to London too so quite limited. Our mortgage is going to cripple us so I know how you guys must feel! !!
Sarah did u say u worked for the NHS? Last time I requested the pay breakdown in advance. ..didn't get it till the second month on leave. Our HR & Payroll are rubbish! I hope yours are better!
Up half the night despite codeine. Anyone get really sore achey hips pelvis knees and thighs at night? Any tips? I've got a pillow supporting knees and ankles but it's not really helping.

Hope you all have a lovely day planned xxx

Massive congrats Rhonda!! Lovely news :) enjoy all those magical first cuddles xx

Wow congrats Rhonda!!!! How exciting for you. I can't believe we are all so close now :). Keep us posted hope you are all well xxxx

SpinSugar yes was me who works for NHS :). Isn't it so ridiculous i should have got the breakdown soon after my HR letter in November. This is the second time i'm chasing them up, i'm sure i will have to do it some more so who knows when i will get it. Our Payroll is outsourced by a different company, who are absolutely useless everyone always has problems with them. I have contacted a lady in our HR who replied yesterday saying are you happy for them to have your personal email. I'm like hell yeah give them anything, i'm not at work so anything they need give it to them. If they can email it over then great, but i am not holding out much lunch lol.

I am the same, sore achy hips/pelvis. I have a really good long maternity pillow but half the night i keep waking up, can't get back to sleep so go for a walk about and pet the cats lol! Not long to go for us :) Rhonda today, who knows tomorrow! xx

I'm not 100% sure but I have Chrissie on Facebook and some people have posted on her wall indicating that she might have had her LO too :D so hopefully we'll hear from her soon too!
Definitely suffering with the achy sore hips and I keep getting bad leg cramp too :( I haven't found much helps apart from making sure to sleep with legs together and when rolling over doing the same. I guess it's just one of those things we have to deal with now.
Happy 35 weeks TTCno2 :D xxx

Woo hood Rhonda so happy u have it all over you and litte man is here safe and well. Massive congratulations... :)

Cakey happy 35weeks... Aha it's going so fast. I have a scan later at 2pm. Baby was 3lb7oz at 29weeks so I'm worrying and nervous to see estimated weight today..
I'm picking my baby up this eve too... I can't wait.. Little rascal told me over fone Monday though she doesn't want come home she wants stay in her nanas lol.. She's been having a ball with her cousin and nana.
Her being away sorta happened at right time though as my heating is completely broke in my house and I've been stayin with my mum while OH is away.

I see some of u ladies talking about food... Omg how lovely would a dominos be.. My daddy god love him made me up the nicest salad sandwiches when they came to see me in the eve time.. He's so good like that.

Demaris glad all went well

Hope your LO has fattened up a little bit TTCno2, fingers crossed :) everyone has said it's gone quickly but I really don't feel like it has. Another 35 days and he might be here, although I'm sure he's waiting for his grandads birthday to make an appearance :)
Xxx

It is getting scary now that we're all getting close. It's so strange to think that I'm only a couple of weeks away from my due date so I will definitely be a mummy within the next 4 weeks!!! Eek!

I'm getting so impatient to meet my little man now lol. I want to know what he looks like and if he has hair and what kind of personality he'll have. I can't wait to get to know him. OH is getting more excites by the day too.

Had to tell OH off last night for leaving his phone at home when he went to football! I've told him he has to have it with him at all times now until the baby comes, because it could literally be any day. I'm fully expecting to go over though so maybe not in the next fortnight, but you can never be too careful!

hehe I said the same to my husband the other day, he keeps his phone on silent at work and I know the few times I have phoned him its probably sat right next to him and he isnt noticing lol.

It is scarily close now isn't it, 3 weeks on Monday for me and I still cant get used to the idea of being a mum to a baby at 41 with two teenagers already!! :D

I had such an amazing nights sleep last night, and only got up to go to the loo once! I'm not sure if its the result of the iron infusion but I also didn't have restless legs either. I feel pretty ok today and am pottering around packing up the last of things we aren't using ready to move on Friday :)

How are you doing GF?? I hope you are ok xx

Just been to my midwife appointment. Being referred for a growth scan as bub doesn't appear to have grown at all in the last fortnight.
He's also not engaged at all so I can tell he's going to keep me waiting! Little ratbag!!

I had midwife yesterday, and everything is all as it should be. :) measuring 36 exactly (although my rather large bum caused some difficulties in getting my back flat enough for an accurate measurement initially).
Midwife said baby didn't feel huge, but they said that with Alexander and he was 9lb 4oz
Here's hoping these babies don't keep us waiting too long!! 25 days until EDD for me xx

How are you doing GF?? I hope you are ok xx

I'm doing ok thank you! Still no baby :-( but I am dilated so it's only a matter of time. I've had a sweep, reflexology, acupressure and acupunture in the last 10 days... &&&& naaadda! Apart from severe tummy ache & diarrhea! I even took to eating chilli flakes last night... That was ermm.... Painful  I actually cried at my midwife on Monday & because I feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever & not actually have a baby! She told me that I was probably just fat and needed to go to the gym :oooo: luckily I know her so I'll let her off!
Glad your transfusion went well, are u feeling better? Xxx

Is anyone else just hanging around the house? I'm too terrified to go out on my own incase my waters go! Lol! I'm also really fed up with being stared at! I popped to tesco with my mum on Saturday & had loads of women staring at me! Popped down to my local tesco express today and had some bloke staring at me.... Have people not seen a pregnant woman before? Xx

Aww Podpie when is the scan?
Nonabean sounds good. I have my MW tomorrow lets hope my BP still not high.

Just had some awful news, i am sitting here crying looking like a right mess. Basically we have been waiting a year to move house - held out for one for 6 months and they couldn't find anywhere to live so we pulled out. Exactly the same thing now have held out another 6 months for another one. Estate agent rings us today like no news, but your buyer doesn't have a buyer anymore.... bla bla so all the usual crap going nowhere so that was first bit of bad news.
Now OH has just phoned me. His work has moved to new premises as the lease ran out on the old building, but the workshop he works in hasn't as there is no space for them at this new place. Basically they took them all in for a meeting today and said the car workshop is definitely going to be relocated to Bristol (we are in Surrey), and the motorbike workshop that he works in is 99% going to be relocated to Nottinghamshire. He still has his job for 6 months they have said, for him to either find something else or once they have decided for definite where it's moving to he can obviously go work there. He can't commute 2 hours each way every day that is ridiculous. I am just sitting here in tears because now we have to phone the estate agents and say we can't move anymore as he has no job security at all. Ah god i just feel like utter s*%t. He earns such a good salary and is so good at what he does, if he was to go and work for any car/trade dealership he would earn half what he does now. Why is life so pants sometimes and why do i get more than one bit of bad luck on the same day!!! Grrrrr. Don't feel like bouncing my ball feel like punching it lol.
Sorry girls i know off subject but i am just so upset. I know we are getting the best gift in the world with a LO due, but the plans of having a new place etc all sounded so fab. Guess it was too good to be true and we weren't destined to move. Just had a whole year of house stress for nothing, and now OH who has pretty much lost the best job ever! Ah man. Someone give me positive thoughts please!!!!!!! xxx

Aww Sarah big hugs . I feel for you. It does feel like it all happens at once and once you have got past all the BS, you realise that it happened for all the right reasons.

I'm just going to throw it out there, why not relocate? If you OH has a job for 6 months, you'll be in a routine with babe and be more settled. Then a relocation could seem more realistic. I would also imagine property in Bristol and Notts is a hell of a lot cheaper than Surrey?

It's a scary thought not knowing anyone or having any support but it's an opportunity for a fresh start xx

Ahh sarah so sorry to hear this :( So upsetting for you. Can you relocate so your husband can continue his work? It is hard to do, my first husband was in the navy and we moved alot but these days we are not far from anywhere with the motorways. Maybe it might turn out to be a blessing about the house as fate might be shoving you in a new direction. Huge hugs to you xx

Thanks ladies x x x
Ah its such a bummer, i've just got out the bath where i had a nice long cry! Unfortunately OH would defo not relocate he loves it too much where we are. Me, well i am not so fussed. We have kind of got it easy here in a sense of we do have our own place all be it quite small for now, but my mum is going to do my childcare for half the cost of a nursery, my job is very local and there is always opportunity for me to get some overtime each month to get a little bit extra, etc etc. My job is certainly not enough to pay for everything each month though. When his work definitely relocates to either one of those places he has said it will 99% change contract company and therefore mean a less of a salary anyway.
I think for now i am just going to take it on the chin, once LO is here start surfing around for him and see what does actually happen with the place he is at now. Why are companies so lapsy daisy. Everything is always last minute and talk about get your stress levels rising. They are purposely offering staff their jobs signed with different contractual companies so they don't have to pay them redundancy money. How terrible is that.
I just wanna meet my baby now, give me something to put a huge smile on my face xx

Oh Sarah :( :( huge hugs. What a day for bad news. I know it's a cliché but you never know what could be right around the corner for you guys xxx

Indeed you are right SpinSugar. Guess i just have to wait and see. I am a believer in everything happening for a reason, but cmonnnnnnn let my have my baby first lol!!

My god ladies i have probably asked before but what sort of exercises am i meant to be doing with this birthing ball? Baby is back to back, got foot stuck out one side of my front, hand the other. I am doing some circle shapes i don't even feel like i can balance properly, mind you living room is so small there is something everywhere to hold on to xx

Wow Sarah that sounds like a lot to cope with. I hope you're feeling a bit better now.

My mum said best thing to do with the ball is kneel and lean on it. Make your belly hang like a hammock so baby has maximum room to move around. It's what I've been doing to get bub in the right position and he keeps getting it right and then shifting back!!

I was waiting for a call from the midwife about a scan but I haven't heard anything yet. She said it could be today or tomorrow but I'm very much doubting it'll be today now. Probably won't sleep tonight worrying...
