*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

Well I don't know what to say. Still getting jelly stuff but not as much. Sat with the cat on my knee and decided I needed to tiddle before my tea. Got up and started dribbling (sorry if tmi). Went to the loo by the time I'd got there I was very wet. Washed up and started dribbling again but didn't even feel like I needed a wee. So I got washed up and put pajamas on and came down for my tea. Became aware I was trickling again went upstairs and my pj bottoms are considerably damp. No urge to pee wasn't even aware of half of it!! So I've phoned the labour suite for advice. They told me to lie down for half an hour with a pad on and then get up and see what collects on the pad and phone them back. I am having tightenings but they are more constant pressure than anything. What does everyone think?xx

Sounds like your waters to me Rhonda! :) keep us up to date xx

I have to phone on Monday so they can tell me what time I am booked in on the Tuesday, its day assessment and they were closed when I finally got through to triage for the results. I'm going to try to speak to a different midwife to the one on tonight if I can, she wasn't very nice but again I guess they are busy. I do suffer from anxiety sometimes which can come out in a fear of morbidity so I know the next few days will be torture for me.

I know I have to have it done because the risks if I lose too much blood in delivery could result in cardiac problems. I don't think I have much choice :(

I've found this information leaflet, which is pretty up to date. And the percentages of people who have adverse reactions are pretty tiny! Hopefully that makes you feel better. I screen grabbed the page and hopefully it's attached. Xx

Thank you so much Nona, that's the most reassuring piece I have read tonight. It doesn't sound so bad to see it written down like that. I think I am going to sleep on it now, I really want to do the right thing xx

Rhonda exciting! keep us posted, our little Trimester 3 board here has suddenly erupted into frenzied activity-its all getting so close now! :)

It looks like it's regarded as generally pretty safe! Hopefully you'll be able to get more information off the hospital so you can make an informed choice!!

I hope you manage to get some rest and don't worry too much over the weekend xx

Total TMI post!
My milk didn't come in at all with my first LO, so during this pregnancy I've been squeezing, to try to encourage my boobs to keep going!
Was just having a wee squeeze there before my bath and the milk actually squirted across the bathroom!
Strangely delighted by this, and felt I had to share xx

Oh Rhonda how exciting! Sounds promising, hope all goes well and quickly for you.

Haha nona, I get a wee bit if I squeeze, seems to be increasing now as I've started massaging boobs but can't say it's ever squirted across bathroom! X

Oh my it's all gone off and I've only been away a few hours!

Rhondalou this is so very exciting please keep us posted!!

Nonabean how funny! Mine look the same as they did pre pregnancy albeit more veiny this worries me that no milk will come... Oh shall I give them a squeeze? (I do realise how gross that sounds!)xx

My boobs haven't gotten any bigger than they were before. Apparently boob size is irrelevant!
Give then a wee squeeze and see if it works! :D xx

So just been examined and everything is closed they think it might be a water infection. I do feel like I'm constantly wetting myself which isn't very pleasant when you have a stranger furtling around down there. Oh the joys of pregnancy lol x

Ahh! Rhonda. That's no good :( sorry things aren't moving for you, but at least you've been checked out now xx

This is pants because they aren't sure if my waters are broken I have had a steroid injection which can raise blood sugar so I have to test every hour for the next 3 days. I have had no sleep at all I still have cramps the woman next to me is snoring a and I can't get comfy in bed. Not that it matters anyway cos I'll be up to do my blood sugar in 5 minutes.

Personally I think it's my waters gone as im still getting the jelly stuff and gave these constant cramps like I'm gonna start a period any minute although not as bad. Every time move I feel a trickle and I constantly feel damp. I don't think they will need to induce o think he is working on his escape plan little monkey xxx

Rhonda how are you this morning? It definitely sounded like something was starting! Will be annoying if it is an infection!!p
Testing every hour - oh dear :( you must be shattered! How do they expect you to carry on for 3 days like that?? X

Niknaknoo oh I didn't know you are supposed to massage them? I am trying to be very careful with mine as I thought I might be waiting colostrum by squeezing it out? Or does it not work this way? X

I have slept for about 45 minutes and feel surprisingly refreshed. Most definitely waters gone. My blood sugar went sky high so I'm now on insulin via drip. The bloody machine is annoying tho cos everytime I unplug it it bleeps every ten seconds so I'm waking up the entire ward everytime I want a wee. Also means I have fat chance of going out for some fresh air anytime soon and I'm beginning to get cabin fever. Grrr. Hopefully I'll be off it at half past tho cos my sugars are coming down. Or at least if I can find someone to stop the machine from beeping. Cos now im going to have breakfast which will send me high again it's either they or don't eat I don't know what's worse x
