*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

Thanks for your support lovely ladies :)

Just got back home and they have done a full blood count (finally!) I will get the results back tomorrow. They are basically saying I will need a blood transfusion within the next couple of weeks as my levels are not going up and because I am close to due date. I'm glad it will be sorted instantly instead of faffing around with tests and tablets.

So tired now! On the up side my husband took this afternoon and tomorrow off work so we are going out to lunch at the village pub where we are moving to whilst the kids are at school. Peace! :D xx

Aw Demaris I am so pleased for you! :-)

I'm glad that everything is getting sorted properly.

Aw how lovely, that sounds like a lovely lovely plan for tomorrow!I'm rather envious, I could do with a "school day" lunch out.

Xx

Phwoar! Think I'm getting some Braxton hicks! I've felt tightenings before but never with any pain involved lol. Feels like period pains, a constant ache but every now and then giving a bit of an oomph to take my breath away!

All very exciting!

Ah thanks Hun I thought you mentioned it earlier. I've ordered myself a ball :). Am I meant to just bounce on it lol i I'll have to google. She also said if I want to use a ball in labour I've got to take my own. Apparently my hospital had loads of gym balls, and quite a long time ago at another hospital someone was on one in labour but it popped!! So she said they now can't use gym balls and after getting rid of all them they only had 2 birthing balls left. I'm like great... When I go into labour I really am going to look like I'm moving in to the hospital lol xx

I do circles in both directions and figure 8's as well. It's also good to lean forward onto on your knees so your bump dangles down. :)

Glad you're getting sorted Demaris. What a bloody drama though! Xx

Anyone been getting pains down there? It feels like Pins down below but I can feel them in my lower belly just above my pelvic bone they have been coming and going for the past 3 hours is this normal? Also baby is moving a lot more then normal and I feel lots of pressure down there x

Hi ladies :)

Glad you are getting things sorted at last Demaris! Let us know what result you get x

I just got back from my course in London :) so I won't have a London baby on my own - phew! :)

TTCno2 let's hope we both have little boys on the same day then! :D
Glad things are better for you now Demaris :)
How was your course Olya?
I have 9 more shifts left at work and I literally cannot wait!!! I ache so much now sitting down is just heaven lol. Xx

Dunno if it's the same thing but I have been getting sharp shooting pains up through me for days now along with loads of braxton hicks xx

Glad they are getting you sorted demaris!

I think I had braxton hicks for first time yesterday. Was driving, baby was going mental and was taking my breath away every few mins. Either that or he is engaging, this morning I felt as if I'd been on a long bike ride if ya catch my drift! Still kinda do.

Glad to be finished work now though! I don't mean to sound selfish but I'm a little annoyed I didn't get a gift... Another girl in work went off on mat leave almost 2 years ago and got over £100 in gift vouchers and I got nothing... Will wait and see if I get anything when he arrives but I'm not holding my breath. I've been there longer and do far more too! Oh well, I don't need to be there for another 9 months!

That's a bit mean Nik!

I was no way expecting anything from my work but I got some flowers and two boxes of chocolates. I guess better than a poke in the eye!

I ate the chocolates in 2 days. Yup...
Xx

I don't think chocolates would have lasted two days here Rachy!
More likely to last about 2 hours  xx

Ahh Nik, thats not very thoughtful of your work colleagues :(

Braxton hicks make me gasp sometimes, or giggle depending on the circumstances. The last big bout of them I had I was walking through the carpark to the car and feeling like I was John wayne ready to hop on that horse whilst holding bump together should anything accidentally fall out lol. Hubby is looking at me like he can't work out if I need help or not and i'm giggling away making 'ooh' noises :D

Ooh sometimes BH feel weird and I don't like it, I had a few at work yesterday and it was just like nooo :( mw today and I really hope she tells me he's engaged a bit because I feel so achy! Also fx my blood pressure is okay too.
What's everyone doing today? Xx

Lanny the course was excellent actually! I feel like I learnt lots, and all useful and interesting stuff.

I just had another blood test done. My weekly entertainment from now on! :-/

Hope you all have a lovely day. TGIF! (For those, who still work :) )

I doubt I will get anything from work when I leave... Last time I got a boots gift card, but it was in a different group. This group doesn't usually celebrate anything... Oh well we shall see!

I'm off to the doctor in a bit as I still feel dreadful from this flu & I was only signed off for a week, so it's off to the doctors for me in a bit. If he signs me off again, I'm officially finished work. If not I have a few shifts to do then I'm done. Xx

I got quite a bit from work which i completely didn't expect at all, but my LO is the first baby ever in this particular office, and I recon if it wasn't for the 3 closest girls I am friends with in there the rest probably wouldn't have bothered! I think I was more annoyed some of the consultants I look after didn't come and say bye to me - and one actually said to someone "who will be looking after my theatre lists as Sarah is going sick isn't she?'. To be fair he is the one I never ever see but still, no I am not going sick it's called having a baby!!!!! Never mind.

Hope you feel better soon Nona!! I got the lergie on my very last day last week. My throat is still croaky and I have the snots like there is no tomorrow. Wouldn't be a nice feeling if no more work?
I have booked a meal for us out tonight to Prezzo. We're not big on Valentine's, and we have tesco clubcard vouchers so we will be out for dinner later and spending those :).
Woken up again feeling sick this morning. Blurgh. Baby has been shifting around all night. I ordered a ball from the NCT website, wondering how long it's actually going to take to arrive.
Hope you all have a lovely day xx

Nonabean good luck! Hope you get a sympathetic doctor x

Glad the course was good Olya :)
Feel better soon Nonabean!
Enjoy your meal later Sarah :)
