So finally can move to the second trimester. Seems like I've been waiting forever. Scan all went well today. Baby had a good heartbeat and all was OK with baby. Due date now the 23rd February.

Hey!

I've been meaning to write for a few days - had a busy week of a/l sprinkled with daily naps - but not today! zzzz!!

Had my NHS dating scan on Tuesday - keeping the same due date. Lovely to see the little one again who was very active and almost sitting up which made it hard to get the CRL for a while!

Had a Cons appt to so have an extensive plan for my pregnancy - started Tinz, growth USS from 28/40, EL LSCS, Neo and anaesthetic referrals (anaes is just because of the Tinz).

How's everyone else doing?

It is quiet. I’m still suffering with sickness and it’s really getting me down. I’m hoping it’s going to stop this next week or two. I have zero energy, sickness and I’m not loving it. Although still so thankful for bubba xxxxx how are you doing? Xx

Ok thanks, feeling much better sickness wise but still feeling nausea when I’m hungry.
I find the weeks are going much faster now! And I’ve only got one rota left at work before I have to do admin from 28 weeks and that does seem to be hurtling towards us! X

I've kind of presumed that's the road I would be heading down, but never gotten far enough in pregnancy to have that discussion with an expert. So I'm relieved I was on the mark and that they agree it would be better for me. My Cons said the trauma I've been through as well is a consideration which I hadn't really even thought about too, but very valid.

16+1 today. I been on sick leave since tuesday. I had some sort of a panic attack and I was feeling really anxious when I got to work on tuesday morning. I went to the toilet to calm down but ended up crying on the floor. I couldn't talk to anyone because I was crying and really I just had to leave. So I left and went to a park for a walk and eat my breakfast. Then went home to sleep.

The doctor said I should take tranquilizers but wth I don't want to. I would just rather not go to work. I really wish they'd fire me.

After I left I felt a lot better immediately and I've had nice couple of days and still the whole weekend ahead.

I bought some cute baby clothes yesterday. I also knitted little mittens and I'm working on a little scarf next. It's gonna be cold when he/she will be born. I will take pics asap and show you.

Well, I didn't get fired. Just my luck But the start of this week has been better. I hope it continues like this.

By the way! I've had new sensations in my tummy couple times in last few days. Could it be the baby moving? That I don't know. It feels like what a little baby tornado would look like in a drinking glass. That's how I would describe it

Also, I've always had a little bit of a stomache rolls when I sit down but it's disappearing now. I'm getting a cute buddha belly! At first I was scared of getting bigger but now I'm more ok with it and I think I could really learn to love my growing tummy.

How is everyone else? Can't wait till every February mummy joins the second trimester

My belly has also just sprung out of nowhere! It’s rock hard too!!!! Picture attached but ignore the house were living in a building site! Hope you’re all doing ok, my gender reveal on Sunday! Arggghhhhhh x

@MissMe - I'm sorry you're having such a tough time. Can you chat with your manager about it and make some adjustments to help?

I'm 14/40 today so officially in the second trimester! I can't believe it and very happy. Main issues at the moment is headaches and some tiredness still. I have a 'podge' but after 3 abdo surgeries, to be expected I guess!

I'm 17 weeks tomorrow. Still need to wait 4 weeks for the next scan and then possibly know if it's a boy or a girl.

I bought a diaper bag. It's a backpack. It seems nice but as a new mom I won't know if it's good for that use before I try it in action.

We're looking for a new home. I hope we find a good one asap. I can't believe that 6 months from now I'll have a newborn to look after. Me!!!

Edit. Oh and here's a pic of the little mittens/socks I made for my little one. They're not perfect but hey I made them. Lol

Hey all... feeling good, But just feel so bloated/constipated and full all the time! Really uncomfortable, never felt like this in my previous pregnancies!! Looking forward to some gender reveals coming up soon
