Morning all still here!!!! 2 sleeps till induction now. Kind of getting excited about it in a weird way! As much as I'd like to beat it and go to my nice hospital and have a normal birth I'm just thinking by this weekend he will be here (hopefully!!!!)

Plus the fact I've lost a lot of plug (although not bloody there has been loooooads) I'm hoping that means my cervix is nice and ready and maybe even a bit dialated if its coming away like this so may make it easier?

My midwife is doing a clinic on Thursday and she said to call her if I wanted a sweep but seeing as I'm due to be induced the next day I'm not sure what to do. Any thoughts? I've already had 2 sweeps and the guidelines are no more than 3.

Ignore the guidelines, I'd have the sweep Hun! Chances are then their highest for a natural birth or maybe just breaking your waters!! Xx

Yeah that's a good point, it usually takes a little while to feel the affects of a sweep anyway doesn't it so maybe the fact ill be in hospital the next day will be a good thing. X

Have the sweep it might start things off properly but if not it might start to losen remaining plug/show in your cervix and speed induction along. So so excited to do your labour thread eeeeek!!!

Odd question ladies... Are you wearing pads/panty liners???
In one of my pregnancy updates it said I should be wearing maternity pads as its so close to due date incase waters go?
I'm just wearing panty liners to keep an eye on things but I have had no plug lost yet and not that much discharge...
Just wondered! X

I'm wearing really thin pads because its constant! Only in the last few weeks though . I can walk around in general let alone wear a huge pad between my legs lol xx

Nah I'm not bothering but because I'm going to the loo every 5 mins instead!

I just bothered to look at my maternity notes from last Wednesday and she wrote he is 2/5 palpable. I didn't even notice!!! Hopefully he will be even further now hence all this plug loss. Heading to a family do now, meeting my OHs mum for the first time! Eeeeek!!!!

Newbie I agree I would have the sweep as it might set you off naturally or if not speed up induction

Christy I've been wearing panty liners due to the increased discharge (maybe plug loss)

I'm the same as Jodie. Just recently started wearing thin pads due to increased discharge which I think is plug. No bloody show or anything though.

Newbie, I would have the sweep. I would rather do anything to make it start naturally! I have a sweep booked for Friday but it i my first. Good luck. Hope it does start things off. These babies have to come soon! X
