chart stalkers

hi all

I think the egg-popping will be on the 27th, or whenever all the guests go home! There'll be a collective sigh of relief, we'll all undo our belts (and button on jeans, if you're like me and pig out over Christmas!) and then the eggs will all come tumbling out...

Jingle eggs, jingle eggs,
jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to bonk
At the end of Christmas Day!

Sadly I have no time to go on cos I have an appointment to make myself beautiful (well, hairless, at least :rotfl: )

Gypsy - had a quick look. I'd say notwithstanding your pos OPK a few days ago, that looks like an ov rise to me. Your temps haven't increased since that pos OPK, so I think it may have just been delayed a little, or it wasn't quite pos?

Thanks kitty, I'll do an OPK and see what it says.

Shell

edited to add neg on the OPK

If you've already ov'ed it would be neg OPK...

unfortunately it's a case of wait and see... if that's your ov rise, we'd expect to see similarly high temps tomorrow and Sunday. I know you put a +OPK for a few days ago, but it doesn't look like you'd ov'ed before today - there was no sustained thermal shift.

Talking of OPKs, mine from yesterday and this afternoon are fainter than the series in the photo I posted yesterday morning - practically invisible today. So clearly I'm not about to ov at all. FK what's happening. :x :(

I had a look at the temps on my new (more accurate!) thermometer - they're charted as 'July 2007'. The first seven days are on the old 1 dp thermometer, then the following ones are to 2 dp. Obviously FF won't give me crosshairs at all on that (because it thinks I got AF on CD62 or something...) but when I manually put CH on the day it gave me on my current chart, ie CD12, that day looks plausible - there is a shift in temps, although not by very much and definitely not to the level of my usual post-O temps. Here's the chart using the readings from my new thermometer:

newthermDec07.jpg

What do you think? Is that ov, or coincidence? If that's ov, it must be the lowest levels of progesterone ever... :(

Hi all

Thanks ROM, I pride myself on my pretty chart ;) :rotfl: Hope Dave feels better soon.

I await the Jingle Bell'd theme of eggs popping around Christmas with excitement :rotfl:

I've finished work until the 2nd now - yay - although I still have presents to buy and wrap  I booked an appointment for Monday to get checked out re the thyroid suspicions. Hopefully they'll be able to tell me more after a blood test.

Now come on everyone, get BDing :D And Happy Christmas to all those who won't be on again until the New Year

Hi all,

Kitty - I'm not convinced that you've ov'd from that chart. The temps are very low.

Mildly, hope everything goes OK at the docs.

 everybody else

Good, as that would be the worst possible timing as far as BDing went!

I'm scared to contradict/override FF now, though, after it turned out to be right last month - and the temps were low for the first 4 days after ov then, which is why I thought it wasn't possible!
Anyway, I've even bored myself with my own chart now, and quite frankly, I have so much to do to get ready for Christmas that the whole ovulation thing is just too much hassle. And I'm about to run out of OPKs... :rotfl:

So, I think I'm giving up on TTC this month, and I'll pick it up again after AF, whenever that might be - next week if FF is right, 3 weeks or more if it's not!

I'm probably not going to get back on here much until after Christmas, so just in case, Merry Christmas to you all, and may Father Christmas stuff your stockings full of baby dust!

Babydust - I'll try to check for your news, FX for you, and do keep us updated.

Everyone else - have a good one!

and ROM - really hope your body sorts itself out and you can start the new year afresh  Tell Dave to eat a vindaloo tonight, that'll do the trick! :rotfl:

Kitty, only just noticed that you posted before me  I think you are still waiting to ov because those are incredibly low temperatures. Is there any chance you might be delayed by the stress of Christmas?

Anyway have a great Christmas and I'm sending babydust your way. Hopefully you'll ov and BD and catch it right by accident :D

Well 2 sleeps to my wedding anniversary and 3 till Christmas -  .

Kitty I really dont think you have Ov'd yet - I am convinced all the rushing around for Christmas will have some effect on OV dates all over the land!! I think your drop yesterday is looking like you are gearing up - just as you run out of opk's to pee on :rotfl: When do your visitors arrive? Me thinks they will be sent on lots of little trips out to get things you may have forgotten if its today or tomorrow!! :D

Come on Claire where have you got to? Has it turned into full AF or has the bleeding stopped? Between you and Libs I am living the BFP dream - Mildly will take over for New Year!! Talking of which your chart still looks cute to me :D

Feeling like it is the calm before the storm here - got everything pretty much sorted except for the big food shop which I think we are going todo tonight around 11.00 pm when Dave gets home. Then its out for dinner tomorrow night with a load of friends, Dave wants to go out for dinner on Monday night - just the two of us for our wedding anniversary but I am in a tizz about what needs to be put out when Santa comes visiting..... :D We are booked into a lovely restaurant for Christmas Lunch so by the end of the next couple of days I will be the size of a horse!! Going back to the consultant on Monday at 9.00 am so hope we can get some answers to our questions then - pushing all the horrid thoughts to the back of my head at the moment with Christmas and all that but they have a nasty way of jumping in every now and then...... :(

Have a great day ladies x x x x

hi, sorry i have had alot on the past 2 days with the girls christmas party and concerts, it is deff af i am on day 3 now and it is light but im sure its af, but at least i can enjoy a 'merry' christmas and relax in the new year and it may happen.

Hope you are all well and have a good christmas, i wont have the chance to come on here much as i still have soo much to do.

Hi Guys!!!!

Well whenever I check back in I realise how much I am missing you all! Thanks for your kind words about the photos. We are still having a great time. If you are interested in Colombia there are loads of other photos on another page at http://picasaweb.google.com/walvisch And from a big trip that we did a few years ago at www.sallyandjamie.blogspot.com

Hope I´m not being too cheeky posting them here!

Well I have stopped temping for this month. My ferning microscpoe is proving somewhat difficult to use  It´s hard to see the pattern.

I hope that you are all having good temps and opks and all that jazz, any bfps??? we still have time

Hey all

sookie, good to see you, I miss you not posting more frequently but I content myself with the knowledge that you are having a fab holiday and taking lots of great pictures for us to nose at :D I bought a ferning microscope from ebay which has arrived now. I'm going to be trying that out next month. I hope it isn't too difficult to see the ferning pattern.

Hi Claire, sorry that AF came  Hope you and the family have a great Christmas :D

ROM, I think we are going to brave the supermarkets tonight for 'The Big Shop', I am not looking forward to it though. because of the bad thoughts, I hope Christmas keeps you slightly distracted and that you begin to feel better about things soon. Have a lovely wedding anniversary and I hope your son loves his Christmas prezzie :D

what's happened to the chart stalkers?!

Good morning everyone!

very quick one cos I'm way behind schedule. Hope all's well. ROM - happy wedding anniversary!

I finally ov'ed. CBEFM was still low yesterday, I'd run out of OPKs but they'd been getting fainter, so we decided last night not to bother trying. Then at 3.45 this morning I woke up boiling. Took temp, saw it had rocketed, thought 'sh*t', jumped on DH and did the deed anyway - well, you never know. Oh well, at least we can relax over Xmas!

I think everyone is busy BDing or Christmas shopping ;)

Glad to hear that ovulation happened for you finally :D It is a great rise too, hopefully the 2ww over Christmas will go quickly what with the festive distractions.

ROM and Dave - Happy Wedding Anniversary to you both :cheer:

I went to the doctors this morning and have to go to the hospital for a blood test in a couple of days to test for thyroid issues. Went last minute Christmas shopping afterwards and it wasn't as packed as I thought it would be  Now I'm all finished except for a bit of wrapping. Off out tonight with friends but I don't think I'll drink, am hoping that won't look obvious though. I haven't really had any symptoms to speak of except for my normal post ovulation bloating although that seems to have disappeared now too yay!

Merry Christmas to all chart stalkers :)

Oh you are all lovely - thanks for the best wishes - got so many flowers today it looks like a florist shop here!! :D Went to see the consultant at 9.00 am this morning, she confirmed that the pregnancy we were seeing was likely to be 12 - 14 weeks so it was from what we thought was my early loss on October 20th...... :( I was a bit surprised and shocked when she said we werent out of the woods with regards to surgery yet and wants to see me again on Thursday :( The fetal sack is still large (I thought it was a cyst!) and she thinks from the scan it is attached from my ovary to my uterus so the reason she is desparate for me to avoid surgery is I may loose my ovary, tube and uterus if they have to operate. Anyway hopefully it will shrink some more over the next couple of days...... Apart from this we are off out for lunch on our own today and I can feel a nice bottle of chablis with my name on it!!!

Hope you are all nearly ready - only 1 sleep left!!

Lots of love to you all at this special time x x x x x

Hi all,

First of all congratulations to ROM and your DH on your wedding anniversary, what a lovely time of year to have got married.

Gosh ROM, I really hope you can avoid surgery. Fingers crossed for you that it's shrunk further for you over the next couple of days.

Kitty - LOL, you are funny. That is a big temp rise. I'm worried now, I've had a big temp rise this morning as well. But I've got a cold so I'm hoping it's down to that and not ovulation. I've not had a + on my opks yet or ov pains or tender breasts which I get a couple of days before hand.

I'm full of cold though and have a sore throat but can't let it stop us BD'ing. Just no snogging as I have the lurgy :rotfl: Bad timing eh.

We're nearly ready for xmas, just got to wrap DHs pressies and the big presents for our son as we ran out of paper.

Going to chill out with a glass of vino tonight for medicinal purposes of course.

Have a wonderful xmas everybody :D xxxx

Well back from lunch and need to wrap car!! run out of christmas paper!! Scary thing is two children at pub and we are ready for bed!!

Hope Santa fills all your stockings with lots of baby dust x x x x x

PS we cant try and conceive until we are told by the hospital - too late!!!!! :rotfl: Well we are newly weds!!!!!

Hi all

Thought I'd do a bit of vague chart stalking to keep my mind off not testing yet ;) I know some of you were planning on taking a month out so I've only commented on current charts. Babydust to the rest of you though :)

kitty, that big temp rise looks like you've ovulated on day 21 this cycle, looks like you got some BDing in around that time so fingers crossed :D

Bagpuss, looks like ovulation is on its way so get BDing now! ;)

trudy, fingers crossed for you. I hope the 2ww goes quickly :D

CB, same for you, get BDing. It looks like ovulation should be any day now :)

gypsy, ovulation doesn't look like it has happened yet, I'm sure it'll be any day now so get BDing too! :D

Hey loola, welcome to chart stalkers  Fingers crossed that the 2ww goes quickly and gets you your BFP :)

ROM, hope you managed to wrap the car ;) lol at you trying before you're allowed - aww you newlyweds, you :D

Well I am on DPO 11 and last month my LP was 12 days. I have agreed with OH to hold off testing until New Years Day hmm.. wonder if I'll be able to hold out that long :rotfl: The strange thing is that I don't have any lower back pain yet which I normally get a couple of days before AF. Although I am a bit paranoid that I actually Ov'd on day 22 because of the better temp rise which would put back AF until early January anyway. I have been distracting myself by looking at the maternity wear by Isabella Oliver - so lovely but soo expensive! I have a wedding to go to in May so if I am pregnant and showing at that point, I may have to treat myself to a fab dress

Hi Mildly and thank you! I cant believe Im only 5DPO, this has been the longest 2ww ever!! I have friends coming to stay tomorrow til New Years Day though so I hope that hosting will take my mind off it.

Im just about getting to grips with this stalking malarky, though my temps are not entirely accurate. I didnt know that I had to test first thing in the morning in the beginning, and now my thermometer seems to be dying!! Its completely impossible to read the display in the morning light anyway, so Ive had to get up to do the test - therefore the results may not be accurate. If I dont get my BFP this time, then I will make sure I do it properly next month. :D

I love looking at everyones charts!! Its so interesting, I hope to see some positive signs on everyones charts soon! :cheer: It will be especially interesting to look back at the charts of those who have got their BFP's so I can see the patterns.

Good morning all.Hope you have had a good xmas.
Congrats to all those who have had BFP and are moving up to first tri.
I got AF this morning. Not too disappointed as first AF since m/c so bring on January ov and the bding!!!!!!!

Hope you are all good

Love to you

Shell

Morning everyone....... Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Mildly your chart is looking good :D

Kitty how frustratiing this months OPK's have been for you - but at least you seemed to get lots of bedding in x x

Babydust hope you had a wonderful day with your daughters - its a lovely time of year with little ones... :D

Bedding with no snogging :rotfl: just get down to the business lady!!

Sookie hope you are still having a wonderful time.

Gypsy good luck in January x

Loola temping is so hard - but at least it seems to show you ov'd... :D

Typically having been told we shouldnt have bedded my chart now shows I ovulated and I have a score of good on the bedding front  To be honest not sure how good a guide it really is as I was up at 5.00 am on Christmas Day and also have been having a few wines over the past few days which usually makes my temps pretty high so I dont think it is a true indication of ovulation.... Off to the hospital again today - not sure why as I dont have another scan until 8th Jan and I havent been bleeding or anything again!! Perhaps they have some new students to poke me!! When we went in on Christmas Eve they had invited a local GP to observe my case...... Getting a bit sick of it to be honest - my consultant has asked our permission to publish our case as it is very unusual - but they still dont seem to have any real answers for me.....

Anyway I hope things are quieter for everyone now Christmas is over x x x x x
