hi all!
A quick one, as I'm waiting for the plumber to come (hope he hurries up, I have a meeting near Oxford Street at 12!)...
CB23 - that dip looks great, as the temp returned to higher than pre-dip temps. A cold can affect your temp in one of two ways - it can increase your body temp, as your body works harder to rid itself of infection, but it can also affect your breathing, which means if you're temping orally, you could see a lower thermometer reading, even if your body core temp was higher. If you temp vaginally, then this last doesn't apply. So yes, it's possible your temp was affected by the cold - but then, you had the cold for the previous couple of days... the actual numbers may be a bit out, but the pattern is still obvious, I'd say.
I'll still be here over Xmas, but hopefully in the 2ww! I haven't a clue when I will ov this month now - FF is highlighting cycle days 14-20 inclusive. Hm, that doesn't narrow it down much! Anyway, that's 16th-22nd Dec. I'm going to have a glass or two of champagne on Xmas Day anyway. It's all about moderation...
I may not log in on Xmas Day or Boxing Day though - the wireless internet router is in the spare bedroom, which won't be spare at that point! besides, I might have my arm stuck inside a turkey. that would make it difficult to type...
Chrissy - woohoo! FX!
Scones - how long's your luteal phase normally? If the average 14 days, then if you ov'ed on CD13 you can expect AF around CD27. If you ov'ed on CD17, AF won't turn up till around CD31. No point basing expectations on last month's cycle, though, as I've just found out!
ok, I need to go and phone the plumber - will catch up with everyone else later this evening!
