chart stalkers

Evening all

Sookie  Sorry to hear about your OH's sperm results. I know my OH was gutted when he was diagnosed with low motility. We are hoping that after the herbal remedies, the organic diet and the FertilAid, his results may improve. We will keep you posted. Claire30 our FertilAid only took 5 days to arrive, hopefully yours will get here ASAP :D

Glad everyone else is having a good weekend so far. I've just been out for a delicious Indian meal :)

Right back to the business in hand. If we were playing some kind of pregnancy symptom bingo, I swear I would be winning hands down :rotfl: I am currently 9 DPO and am experiencing excessive bloating which started around 6 DPO and has got worse. This is now mixed with AF like cramping and tiredness (I had a two hour nap this afternoon - I never nap!). I keep thinking AF has arrived and going to the loo to check but nothing! I am also very snappy, OH has noticed, although I put that down to the discomfort I am currently in. I am also having bad wind  which doesn't usually affect me. However I am not convinced I am PG this month, in fact I am expecting AF to arrive fairly soon. Although I shall be testing tomorrow morning as it has been awhile since I have POAS :D

Good luck to all those in the 2ww, get BDing to all those who are Oving, and a bar of chocolate to all those with whom AF is still visiting. Hope that has covered everyone :)

Edit - to add that I just looked at the pictures of lainey's new puppy and got all emotional  Right so add emotional to my list of symptoms

Hey all.

Sookie, have replied to your other thread

Mildly, excellent, you're symptom-spotting for all of us at the moment!

I'm really :? and :( I can't work out what's going on at all. I got yet another High today on the CBEFM and I'm sure the OPKs are getting fainter each afternoon. If I did ov this cycle, it must have been a very pathetic egg - the LH didn't get picked up and the temps are scarcely higher at all, especially when you compare them with last cycle's chart. And if I did ov, it was very early for me. Bagpuss, last month I ov'ed on CD18, with my first Peak reading on CD17. The previous month I ov'ed on CD20, with my first Peak reading on CD19. I'm on CD19 today.

FF thinks I may have ov'ed on CD14. I'm still getting EWCM (though yesterday not quite so much, and more opaque - though it's difficult to tell with the BDing  ). I'm just getting bored of waking up in the morning, seeing another High, and having to plan yet more BDing! I want to be able to go to bed and go to sleep at night! :rotfl:

Hey all

My PG test was a neg this morning although I suppose it could be too early. I will test again on Wednesday if AF hasn't arrived by then :D

Kitty, I'm not convinced you have Oved yet from your temps. At least you are covering your bases by BDing while the CBEFM says high!

Thanks for looking, Mildly. I don't think I have either - but I feel it's me against the might and wisdom of FF! I'm glad I don't sound crazy to you!

I keep expecting the CBEFM to go Peak the next morning, and I know the best timing is the last High and both Peaks. Unfortunately, it never is the last High :rotfl:

CB23 - I buy the Pre-Seed from the Access Diagnostics online site. £10.99 for 6 applicators plus free delivery (and I've posted a further 5% discount code on this website somewhere). £31.99 for 18 tubes and 10 free HPTs, again free delivery.

Hi all,

Mildly - sorry your test was a BFN. There's still time though

Kitty - it is weird. I don't think you have Oed but who knows. Maybe it's just a result of the chem and will sort itself out for next month

CB23 - I have read that the ov pains can come before or even after O. They just happen around the time. Just get BDing! :D

To answer your other question, we haven't seen the doctor yet. Things here are quite different to at home. They just give you the results and then you go back to the doc when you can. They don't even have a system of appointments (probably because no one is ever on time, or they would come on a different day)! But I have the full report and it is very straight forward. The numbers are there in black and white and there are references down the side stating the normal parameters. We will go to the doctor's tomorrow afternoon. I am expecting that he will suggest another test in a month to 3 months, and probably do some more tests on me now.

Then we'll just have to keep trying :) I don't know if an IUI will be an immediate option. It might be here. Colombia actually has a great reputation worldwide in terms of offering quality surgical options, but in eye surgery, cardiac and cosmetics. I have no idea about assisted reproduction, and can't find anything online. Given the Catholic nature of the country it is somewhat unlikely this would be their strong suit.

Anyway, we will need to try for longer yet and get a conclusive diagnostic on the semen analysis.

Mildly sorry about the BFN, at 10 dpo hopefully just too early, very good symptoms though, everything crossed here :D

Kitty I'm new to all this charting stuff but you have a dotted line so does that mean FF isn't sure either?

Sookie good luck with the doctor tomorrow, hopefully you can get some answers such as what is available for helping with reproduction etc

I still have ov pain and its worse when we BD  but I'm not letting it stop me oh no

Just been to the cinema, how decadent for a Sunday afternoon! :D

Mildly - I didn't mean to ignore the test result, thought I'd written sth but obviously was in too much of a rush! But the average day for a BFP to show up is 14dpo - there's a survey on FF somewhere. I don't think testing at 10dpo really tells you very much

CB23 - yes, FF was sure but has now changed the lines to dotted because of the EWCM. I've no idea at all - just done another OPK and the second line is non-existent, so it's faded over the last three days. I'm wondering if that does mean I o'ed after all, but it was a rubbish egg this time. Or whether it means nothing at all!

In some ways, this is even worse than the 2ww...

Anyway, I've got a chicken to roast so better stay away from the computer! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Hi all,

Sookie, really sorry to hear of the results. I hope you can get answers quickly on what options are available to you with regard to assisted reproduction.

Mildly, hang on in there and test in a few days time. A friend of mine has just found out she is pregnant and got a negative on the day her af was due and a postive a week later.

kitty, how confusing for you. Keep testing. Your comment about wanting to go to bed to sleep made me chuckle, it does get like that after a few days of BD'ing nearly every night.

I got my positive result on the opk test today, bought a clearblue digital to be doubly sure. Hurrah! My cycle is back to normal.

Thanks all :D Yeah I think 10DPO is too early if I am PG. I will try and hold out until Wednesday before testing again.

Sookie, I hope they intend to do some more sperm tests as I have definitely heard that test results can vary substantially depending on the day and the sample. Hopefully it was just an off day for your OH and that future results will show a perfectly normal result

CB, Ov pain is a good sign, you get BDing now ;)

Kitty hope you had a good time at the cinema, see anything good? :)

Bagpuss, congrats on the cycle being back to normal. Now get BDing :D

On a side note, why do weekends go so quickly? I can't believe it is Monday again tomorrow!

Morning ladies.

Mildly I didnt get a + until 14 dpo in September, in fact I have decided testing early is just too stressful so I am locking away any tests and my purse this month :fib: You see so many other ladies on FF getting + on 8 or 9 dpo it makes you think you are out before you have even passed the finishing line!!!

Sookie I have also heard that sperm quantity and quality can change so dont give up hope - are they going to test your DH again? A lot of people on FF seem to use preseed - thinking of getting some myself just to see....

I thought I had OV pain yesterday but looking at my temp this morning I think it was just wind  best to keep bedding though.

Claire this is the boring bit of the cycle isnt it - nothing to obsess over.... :D

Kitty what did you see? We went last Monday afternoon (the joys of both being self employed) to see Stardust..... Its a real feel good movie I loved it... Not sure what is going on with your chart but you certainly dont have a problem with EWCM!!

Well I am confused - had EWCM on Sat and Sun and my OPK's were showing a quite strong line on Friday and Saturday then yesterday there wasnt a line at all - woke up this morning expecting WCM or EWCM as I usually have 4 days of this before ovulation and its definately Creamy!! Durrrrrrr I over slept this morning - well actually I think I did wake up and temp at my usual time 6.30 am but fell back to sleep and when I woke up at 7.45 my temp was 36.64 - I'm not sure whether I did wake up or if I had a dream that I took my temp and it was 36.44!!!! I have put the 36.64 temp in for now as it could have been a dream - see this TTC is sending me over the edge I even bloody dream of taking my temp!!!! :rotfl: Anyway time will tell and I will have to see what happens tomorrow..... Hoping the agnus cactus is making sure I have a nice strong ovulation....

Anyway need to go and find where my dear son is - went out to a party last night and didnt come home!!! Did get a text to say he was staying at a friends but he has college this morning so I'm not a happy mummy!!!!

Morning ladies

not been on much over the weekend because I've been poorly with a cold. I still managed to work my way through 3 bottles of wine though!!  I'm hoping it will be the last drink I have for another nine months!   I've forbidden DH to have aeven a sniff of alcohol until after I've OV'd and I'm not touching a drop until I've either had my AF or a baby!

I should OV this weekend so I'm going to be paying particular attention to my CM and I'm going to start on OPK's on Wednesday I think so I shouldn't miss my OV. Last month I had a temp dip and a positive OPK on the day I OV'd and I'm hoping it's going to be the same again this month.

My cold is clearing up now but I've still got a bit of a cough and a stuffy nose but I think I should be back on form by the weekend. I hope so because we've got to get plenty of BD in! :D

Bizzarly I've had about 4 dreams so far last week alone about me either being pregnant already or getting a BFP or about close friends being pregnant. Pregnancy isn't something I've ever dreamt about before so I'm hoping it's a sign of something good for me this month.

  to everyone

morning, hope you all had a good weekend
  your right rom this part of the chart is rubbish, dont go to hard on your son, thats what student life is all about :D

midly put those tests away :shakehead: for a few days

hi chrissy, i have been the same this weekend, i had my last drink last night, its the only good part of this stage of our cycle, i told dh also that he had to stay away from drinking and smoking and he said ok  he took his sanatogen this morning and asked if he should be taking his temp :rotfl: i nearly wet myself laughing :rotfl:

bagpuss :cheer: great your cycle is back to normal

sookie good luck at dr's today

kittykins and cb23 keep bd'ing :rotfl:

my sister just called, she is on holiday in kenya with her oh and they just got engaged :cheer: so i will be a bridesmaid next christmas, but it also meen that i need to get a bfp in next couple of months or i will need to stop ttc :(

:cheer: :cheer:

congratulations for your sister Claire. Don't stop TTC just because you're going to be a BM. I had my best friend as a BM and she was 7 months pregnant when I got married. she found out after I'd asked her to be BM and at first I was panicing about it but it all turned out fine in the end. IF you sister speaks to her photographer they'll be able to shoot the photographs from angles where it's hardly noticeable. On my photo's you can only tell one of the BM's is pregnant on about 3 of the photo's and there's over 400 photo's in total! She was pretty big at the time too.

The only problem I had was getting her a dress. I didn't really know how big she would be at the time so it was hard work. I eventually found someone on the internet who custom made dresses and was a specialist in making maternity evening wear. She made me a lovely dress for her with a fitted top bodice bit and the skirt was elasticated and she looked lovely in it. She made all three dresses for me so they matched and they only cost me £80 each!!! I had to send her the measurements and she made the dresses. It's only took her a week to make them and she told me to leave my PG bm until about 3 weeks before the wedding before sending the measurements over.

There's no need to stop TTC but speak to your sister first because she might not want a PG BM.

morning all!

 at Claire30's DH - that's so sweet! Actually I made my DH temp last night, to prove that when I say I'm freezing, we need a blanket on the bed, I'm not making it up  His temp was 0.5 deg C higher. That's after he'd been lying on top of the bed in only his boxers to cool off!

rom - at least your son texted you! So do you think you have ov'ed or not yet?

Chrissy - hope those OPKs are nice and clear!

Bagpuss - FX for you this cycle!

Mildly - bet you don't make it to Wednesday :rotfl:

CB23 - good to see you're making the most of the fertile time...

Sookie - good luck at the doctor's today.

We saw Elizabeth: the Golden Age. Lots of swashbuckling, a few gory bits, some fantastic costumes, very jingoistic, not much of a storyline. Plus we knew how it ended :rotfl: Still, a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. We might try to see Beowulf later this week. The only thing that puts me off is that it's got Angelina Jolie in it. I can't stand her, she's one of those actors who's so obviously herself you can't imagine her as anything other than Angelina Jolie. I think that to have cast her as Grendel's Mother is to completely misunderstand the text. The rest of it might be ok, but I fear it's going to be a Hollywood blockbuster that misses the point.

Well, I think I have ovulated :( I'm just not sure when :? If I overlay my charts pinned at the start, it looks quite possible that I ov'ed on CD18. If I don't overlay my charts, the CD14 day also looks possible. I've given up on the CBEFM and OPKs for this month. I was actually using two different kinds of OPKs, as well as the CBEFM, just to compare. Didn't get a single positive, or even anything close to one. Still no Peak, either. Because the EWCM started so early, I'm pretty sure that I'm not still waiting - the EWCM has been mixed with creamy/sticky the past two days, so I reckon it's the tail-end. Really peed off that we switched weekends - it now looks like the ideal time for BDing was last weekend, when we were at my parents and then spent a night apart.

I spoke to the CBEFM helpline this morning. The lady was very helpful. She said that it was very possible that I had ovulated, and had had a LH surge, but that the CBEFM had not picked it up, because the monitor 'learns' by comparing one cycle with the next. It obviously recognised a rise in oestrogen, and may well have detected a rise in LH, but the rise obviously didn't pass the significant % of last month's rise (e.g. for it to go Peak, the monitor should detect LH at at least 85% or whatever of last month's Peak). A weak surge is often accompanied by relatively low post-O temps. So there we go. Looks like I had a weak ovulation, much earlier than anticipated, and BD'ed at completely the wrong time. So I'm out this cycle. Unfortunately, looks like I'll be oving over Xmas, when we have all the parents staying, so chances of BDing are pretty slim. Just  ing that I did ov really early this time, that AF comes early, I have the shortest cycle of my life, and then I ov the week before Xmas!

Oh - the CBEFM lady said she's not a medical expert, but she's had quite a few Qs like mine after a chem. She says she can't give medical advice, but it seems that a chem may prompt an early or weak ovulation the following month, according her experience. The hormones do seem to be messed up. So Claire30 - start testing with the OPKs earlier than usual just in case!

Sorry this is such a long one!

Do I think I ovulated... Well if I did I suppose it would have been yesterday but that seems early even for me!! and without a big dip I wonder how good an egg it was...... I had decided that December was going to be our month and I dont like my plans to go a drift!! (and you say you are a control freak Kitty! :rotfl: ) I'm down to my last opk but will use it at 2.00 pm today and see what it shows. Am seriously thinking of giving up temping for a while - just try and relax and bed a lot!! See if a more laid back approach works for us...... I am starting to think I am :wall: :wall: and find myself obsessing over the smallest of things.

Oh well it will be interesting to see what this month brings with all of us having funny cycles...... :D

   for Kittykins.

It definatly looks from your charts that CD18 was the OV date. Did you manage to get any BD in at all over those few days??? If so there still could be a chance for this month. And who cares if you've got parents over for xmas.... send them out for a walk or something while you and OH get a quick one in. I'm sure they won't mind.. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you having a short cycle next month so that you OV the week before.

Thanks Chrissy!

We BD'ed CD 8, 10, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 19. I'm on CD20 today.

I was expecting Peak fertility sometime between CD16-20.

If I did O on CD18, then the LH surge was rubbish - barely a second line on the peesticks.

Basically, we're covered on the BDing front for every O day EXCEPT if I O'd around CD13-14   Again, the LH surge didn't show...

rom - I agree with you that your temps don't suggest O yet, but just wondering if the Cm's relevant!
Not everyone gets an ov dip anyway, and those who do, don't get one every cycle.

Hi all,

Don't have time to chart stalk yet, but sending you all lots of baby dust for your kind and thoughtful messages

I know we need more tests. Don't worry, I'm trying not to draw too many conclusions from one test. It's just hard.

DH has had some pain in his lower abdomen recently and a little pain ejaculating so we are hoping (sounds funny to hope for this) that he just has an infection. The viscosity and inability of the sperm to liquefy could definitely be an indicator of that. There are so many things it could have been. So fingers crossed. I'm trying to stay positive.

Kitty -   I hope that your DH's swimmers had super stamina. It's still possible :)

Hey all,

If you have already ov'd Kitty on CD18, you look like you've still got a good chance with all that BD'ing! Fingers crossed for you.

I'm ov'ing today, I've got tender breasts, bloating and ov pains. Still got lots of stretchy EWCM so guess what we'll be doing again tonight

I should get a temp rise tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed for you Mildly with your test on Wednesday.

Chrissy - know what you mean about the alcohol. We're abstaining as well at the mo.
