Chart Stalkers

Sookie sorry AF got you. You'll just have to enjoy another month of BDing!!

Kitty don't give up hope til she's here could be IB

ROM when I had my implantation dip the temp rise after was below my previous temps! Still looking good.

Flick? Where are you???? Test!

Sorry for not being around for a while, AF still not here but I am expecting it too show today. Thanks for the tip about HPT at Boots, I think I might invest in some ...... I may need them next month :D

Kittykins and Sookie - I am so sorry AF has got you

ROM - Another nice rise in temps, ing for you

Tots Hope - glad you are still around and I hope the pregnancy is going well but I think ROM is the one to be following this month

You're right ROM, I am playing it causiously ......... it couldn't happen to me (don't get your hopes up girls, but I  for the encouragement)

Hi Trudy and tots hope! Please keep hanging around, maybe some of your baby dust will rub off on us! Every so often I venture into First Tri to see how the stalkers are doing, but I don't like clicking on 'First Tri' in case it jinxes me. Yeah, I know, bloody stupid of me, but hey...

ROM - I was starting to get so excited about your chart that I forgot you had that appt! Best of luck for tomorrow! And yes, that ov date looks pretty certain - can't believe you got it so early and you're already a week past ov :D Carry on like this and you'll get two BFPs in 2 different cycles before my AF properly arrives from the first!

Flick - phew, you're back! The temps still look very good. Did you test again? Ok, I won't ask until you tell us... FX for you

I have a feeling that today's going to be a nightmare. I'm becoming more than mildly obsessive - running to the loo every 30 mins to check my knickers :rotfl: Goodness knows how I'm going to get any work done.

Still haven't had any AF cramps - I usually get them the day before it starts. Just that spotting. But I do have the other usual sign of AF - I'm absolutely starving and stuffing my face with cashews and Green & Black's! I've already worked out that next cycle's likely ov date is when we're due to spend the weekend at my parents' house... Might have to do some diary shuffling, you can hear EVERYTHING through their walls, and I don't really want my mother knocking on the door whilst I'm doing the 30 minute headstand contortions! :rotfl: :rotfl:

FF tells me that the December ov date is likely to be around Xmas Day - and we have both sets of parents arriving on the 22nd, staying till the 27th    Well, when we pack them off to Midnight Mass and the Xmas morning service, I might just have to pretend I need DH's help preparing the food :rotfl:

I suppose though that's the upside of charting - I think ROM's right about obsessing over every little rise and fall, but at least charting does help you to plan a little, or as much as your body allows.

Flick - your temps are steady which is a good sign not a bad sign! What makes you think that AF is on her way?

I thought my Af was on its way when my temps levelled off but instead i got my BFP!

Kitty its not over till shes here!! spotting could mean lots of things - oh god now I have to keep logging on every hour to check you too!! :D

Flick - it could happen to you and I really hope it does - I know what you mean about all the worry too though - try not to stress and take each day without AF as a good thing.

I give up with symptom spotting now - was convinced that I was with that dip and now I only had a slight rise I feel all defeated and its only 6 dpo!! Its stupid - didnt sleep very well last night waiting to test - eventually fell asleep and had the most awful night sweat - woke up this morning as if I had just got out of the shower - it was horrid!! God I hope this isnt the menapause.........

Anyway I will be checking in hourly now to see how you two are getting on..........

Forgot to say Kitty :rotfl: about your parents....... You want to try fitting it in with a 17 year old in the next bedroom!! Thats why our bedding happens AM!!!!

ROM - maybe I should have a 'knicker-ticker' to keep you updated on my half-hourly trips to the loo! :rotfl:

Menopause? NO WAY! How many BFPs have you had in the recent past? You're not exactly infertile, you just might need a bit of help with the glue!

As for night-sweats, I've been waking up totally drenched every night for the past week. that's partly why I'm sleeping so badly. So if you're going through the menopause, I'm already there... I'm putting it down to the time of year, I'm sure this happens every November - it's not quite cold enough to need the central heating on constantly, but not warm enough to do without. We put our heating on for the first time 3 or so weeks back (maybe that's what caused my rise in temps, not ov at all!), just for an hour or so from 6-7, and then again from about 5 to 8. But this past week has been quite warm, and I reckon that all the stored heat really hits in the middle of the night. We're still using a 4 tog duvet, and sleep with the windows open - but it's just too chilly in the early evening to do without the heating, especially as I work at home. When the outside temp drops a bit more, we'll probably all have more comfortable nights.

Shouldn't the 17yo be out all night, binge-drinking, loitering on street corners with other hoodies, and :puke: ing in people's front gardens? Can't you make him?!
Actually I was wondering about your kids - I assume they don't know you're TTC? (and if they do, how on earth did you tell them?!) And what do you think their reaction will be, or don't you care? My youngest brother was 18 when my mother had to have a hysterectomy, and he really surprised her by being v upset and saying 'I guess this means I'll never have a little brother or sister then'! :rotfl: For the next year he was begging my parents to adopt! never try to predict the behaviour of a teenage boy!!!

right now I really must get on with some work. I've started so many different things today and not finished anything... if you see me posting on here again before 6pm, kick me off! (though give me another 5 mins just to check the other threads... :rotfl: )

I thought my Af was on its way when my temps levelled off but instead i got my BFP!

I am getting a mild cramping in my stomach and feeling :puke:, my boobs are the size of footballs (DH is happy  ) and peeing more frequently

I'm a bit confused at the moment and, if I'm truthful, a bit scared. I've always had a 14/14 cycle but for the last three months it has been 14/11, 17/11 and 14/11 ...... this time I oved on day 14 so I thought it would be day 11 again ?

Flick I feel so sorry for you - its so frustrating - you have been so good at not symptom spotting and now it must be driving you mad..... BBs like footballs sound like a great sign though and also the AF type cramps - thats how I felt last month..... I know its a nightmare but I am sure you will know either way in the next couple of days (and I know what I'm putting my money on :D )

Flick - it could happen to you and I really hope it does - I know what you mean about all the worry too though - try not to stress and take each day without AF as a good thing

I'm so paranoid about getting my hopes up after the last couple of months when I tested + and Af turned up (chemical pregnancy I think) and when I lost what I thought was a sac at about 10DPO :wall:

Gosh I so relate to you feeling like that Flick - after 2 chemicals and my early loss last month I dont think I would believe it until I reached 3 months next time.......

But having said all that - people do get pregnant and go on to have babies and there is really no reason why you cant be one of them (or me for that matter!!! :D )

     to help over the next couple of days x x

Hiya all,

Flick and ROM I have my fingers crossed for both of you too! When will you test again Flick?

Kitty has AF arrived for good yet?

I know what you mean about timing. We were planning a trip to Argentina in December but I was messed around by our last trip to the States and am reluctant to go so far away from home while we are ttc. So we are planning on travelling around Colombia. Anyway, was about to book tickets and the flight date is my next o date! What luck?! Will have to change for a few days either side, but given that my cycle is around 43 days it's pretty bad luck that it's even in the same vicinity.

Anyway,
ciao for now

Thats,s the good thing about charting, it helps with organising future events,

As Kitty mentioned earlier, dates when people are visiting sometimes have to be changed :rotfl:

We finally decided to book the date of our wedding and before confirming the date I tried to calculate when I would be due to ovulate that month

Is that sad or what?

It's not sad - just shows that you're a woman who knows what she wants and is prepared to make it happen. I'm all for planning :rotfl:

wish I'd known about charting before our wedding (Aug this year). I assumed I ov'ed on CD14, the night before the wedding. Turns out I ov'ed on honeymoon... but because of my issues and the fact we thought that we were too late, we didn't even try BD'ing on honeymoon  :rotfl: oh well. Makes me realise how much progress we've made in 3 months, a BFN should be cause for celebration! So when are you getting married? April? (CBA to work it out from your FF profile!)

Sookie - not quite yet, but she's indicated she's on her way. I think. I'm actually really confused. Late afternoon I got a little bit more than spotting, but def not proper AF (pale pinky brown, wet, mixed with CM again), thought that was the start, stuck the wine in the fridge and got out a glass and looked fwd to 6pm... went to the loo before 6: nothing. Just been again: still nothing. So I still can't have that drink  I've resigned myself to the fact it's not happening this cycle, and am fine with that, just wish I could start the next one. I don't want to be at the fag-end of a bust cycle, I want to be CD1 with stuff to look fwd to!

I just tried making popcorn to console myself but was over-optimistic about the pan capacity. The popcorn has exploded all over the kitchen... :x

Get yourself some of that microwave stuff. It's pretty good actually and there's no oily pan to clean up afterwards.

Kitty, you know that's exactly how my AF started yesterday. Pink and mucousy and different to my normal start. But maybe it's just that I was paying more attention. Anyway, about 6 hours later it did start properly. Maybe the stress has meant that it is a bit different. Why don't you go out for a while to take your mind off it?

cos it's almost 8pm, pitch dark, freezing cold and about to rain here! :rotfl:

I'm not that bothered about it, I just want a glass of wine  Promised I wouldn't have one until CD1, and so until AF starts properly, I'm not on CD1... and I want that wine SOOOO much!

Anyway, DH is on the train home now, so I'll turn the pc off shortly and make dinner. Only problem is, I'm not hungry any more - I'm stuffed full of popcorn!

Well, FX for ROM and Flick tomorrow.             hard for sticky beans for you both!

Good morning Ladies, well really not sure what is going on with my chart :rotfl: think it is my body sorting itself out after last month so hopefully by next cycle I will be able to get a good and sticky bean!!

Off to the doctors for my CD21 test today (he told me it had to be done at 7 dpo so hopefully ff did get my ov date right!)

Kitty hope you enjoyed your popcorn and AF stayed away for you.......

Flick  hope all is well x x x x

Mooorrrrrrrrrrrrnin', all!

Good luck with the test, ROM :D - when do you get the results?

Flick, still  for you...

sookie, hope all's well.

I gave in and had half a glass of red wine yesterday evening - for its anti-oxidant properties, you know! (I kidded myself it was healthier than the white in the fridge) I washed it down with 4 glasses of water, so it was very diluted - and I don't think half a glass will affect temps, it takes 3 or 4 drinks to up your temp by around 0.1 deg C. Anyway, when you wake several times each night, the temps are hardly accurate to start with.

Do I sounds like I'm trying to rationalise the half-glass and assuage my guilt? :rotfl: Since when has half a glass of red wine turned into a crime? Well, whatever, it's definitely restored my sanity. :D
