Chart Stalkers March 2008

hey gals

I hope no one minds but i have deleted my pics from photo bucket? My friend has told me that she is TTC and has been doing lots of research on the net and I am scared that she is going to find me on here!

My DH and I have decided to keep our ttc a secret to try and minimise any pressure from friends and family (we hear enough "when are you going to have a baby?" as it is!).

My friend was saying stuff to me today like "apparently ive got to take something called folic acid but im not sure what it does"...all i could say was "oh really!" She also said "apparently it can take months and months for a healthy couple to get pregnant"...if only she knew! I feel so deceitful not telling her but it is what DH and I have decided....for the moment anyway.

Babydust..you made that appointment yet? (Im as bad as a mother i know!)

Glad you are feeling more chirpy loola...when i get AF all i want to do is try to forget about TTC until about nowish.

Sally12 - the photobucket account is a private one - no-one without the password should be able to see the pics - a lot of us were a bit paranoid about ppl finding out we were ttc which is why we got that account set up - so that we didnt have to post on here and be seen by people surfing.

I know what you mean about ppl asking that Q - drives me nuts! Its hard when you are in that position feeling like you have to lie - Ive been there - but be safe in the knowledge that it will keep at least some people off you back if they dont know!

Babydust! get yourself to the Docs missy! We must find out whats going on as the second test is definitely alot stronger!

I promise Ill get back to my normal enthusiasm by the weekend and I will do some chartstalking.

I've already arranged the girls night out!! There are 12 of us going for a Greek meal then dancing Dave works weekends so its a great excuse to let my hair down with my friends.....

Sounds like you will be having fun then!

Yeah this mornings thing was weird - but Im more frustrated about it than scared, as it meant I couldnt get an accurate temp.....its just another thing in my weird little munky world to deal with!

Well I've just been day dreaming - its my birthday on Saturday and how nice would it be to get that BFP for a gift!! The reality is I will probably get AF instead

ROM - I had AF for my last birthday. I really hope the same doesnt happen to you The only good thing about AF on your birthday is the licence to get completely pissed.

just a quick update, the girls have their dancing tonight so its a quick change and dinner and back out, i called my dr and i have to hand in a urine sample tomorrow and call on monday for the results well i know the results anyway i didnt get pased the receptionist and she said that if i phone between 10am and 11am on monday i could speek to the dr as they do a phone in.

babydust - your Drs dont sound very helpful at all!
I hate how some receptionists act like special forces protection for the Drs trying to stop anyone getting to see them! It seems to depend on which one you speak to at my Drs as to how helpful/nice they are! Whatever happened to the nice old ladys that used to be Drs receptionists when I was little -they all seemed so nice back then!

Hi all,

Sorry for my absence and tardiness in updating the front page with links, etc. I had a really stressful week workwise.

Anyway, I'm back, but not for long, because we're visiting my parents for the weekend. Annoyingly, I was due to ov yesterday, but the stress seems to have delayed it - my CBEFM went High at the weekend (usually you get 4 highs, then peak) but I'm now on the 6th high. Today's test stick clearly showed the LH line darkening though, and today's OPK was a lot darker, so I guess tomorrow might be Peak, and I'll ov Saturday. I so don't want to have to do the deed in my parents' house, but needs must! I'm sure they wouldn't be at all bothered (they're desperate for grandchildren, they'd probably stand outside the door cheering us on! ), but it's the whole thing of wondering if anyone can hear... Isn't it strange how our bodies work though?

Right, well, it looks like there are several pages of posts to catch up on, so I'm off to have a quick read. Hope all's well with everyone, FX for those in the 2ww, and to anyone who needs one.
