Chart Stalkers January 2008

Thanks ladies, Im surprisingly not too bothered! I really dont feel like I have the energy to take on more work right now, my job is stressful enough, I work as a Housing Officer but on a really rough estate, so most of me tenants are either heroin addicts, troubled kids with anti-social behaviour problems, people with mental health issues and ex-prisoners, quite a few paedophiles unfortunately too, so as you can imagine I have a tiring time as it is. Another good reason to have a baby - to take a year off!

Im so excited about Babydusts test!! My tummy turned with excitement! :cheer:

Chrissy I think your temperatures look amazing I wouldnt be at all surprised if you got your BFP this month..... :D

I agree with ROM, Chrissy!! Your chart is what I want mine to look like!! Fingers crossed, I think this is your month :cheer:

Also Kaykav - your chart is looking fab too! That would be an amazing BFP for your first chart stalking month!

thanks ladies....my temps keep going up every day which is a good sign but I'm trying really hard to find other symptoms and there's just nothing!! My bbs don't hurt.....no matter how hard I squeeze or poke and prod them! :rotfl: I'm a bit more tired than usual.....I'm falling asleep within half an hour of getting in from work!! but I think that's more because I'm working so hard at the minute :fib:

I don't think it will be this month either because most of the times we BD'd we were under the influence so the swimmers were probably pickled.

I'll still be keeping my fx until AF comes though.....it's not over til it's over.

I think pickled swimmers work better than any other! Look at how many Christmas/New Year BFP's we have had, thats alot of pickled sperm i bet!

Good luck hun, I have a good feeling for you :cheer:

Where is Claire?

Chrissy I wouldn't worry about drunk swimmers, think how many results of drunken encounters there are out there!

My goodness, it's all happening in here!!
Fingers crossed for those BFP's - good luck girls! :D

I stupidly forgot to take my temp this morning, as I slept in a bit. Had showered and was half way through a cup of tea when I remembered!
Does it make a big difference to ff? Should I still put in my other information? I had clear CM yesterday, but doesn't seem to be any today so far! And still negative on the OPK. :?
Started BDing last night and have told DH it will be every night from now on. He seemed quite happy at the prospect. I'm off or a  now as I am so tired, need to get my energy up for later on!!

ROM - I sometimes get stringy stuff like you describe too. I'm sure I've had it at the start of AF as well.

Hope everyone is OK

well i couldnt get a first response they only had cb digital, i hate those but i got one anyway and it was 'not pregnant' but i can deff see a line on the other i used another cheap brand at same time as digital and there is a line there to.

i suppose i will just need to wait :wall:

Oh meh!! How frustrating is that!! Fingers crossed hun  xxx

:x :x :x - Ruddy stupid inconclusive tests!!!! I uppose at only 8dpo it is a bit early to be picking anything up. Lets hope that it's all a good sign for you that you'll be getting your proper BFP in a few days.

You've made me want to go home and do a test too....... I won't though!!

Claire those digi test take all the fun out of it dont they!!! :D You are still very early days for a digi to work I think - do you see colour in the faint line you are getting or is it just a shadow? Is it the Internet test with the blue handle????

:rotfl: I am definately starting a HPT factory - how much money do we spend on these things........ Think I should have shares - I was buying 3 boxes of 2 at a time from tescos (6 tests) and I would use them all each day...... each time there was always just a faint line and it went on for months :rotfl: Got to the point I wouldnt use my points card incase they came to lock me up...... :rotfl:

Claire  hopefully your line gets stronger then in a few days time try the digital again. Was it a twin pack?

rom its a very thin pink line, i tried to take a pic but my darling daughter was playing with my camera and detached the lens so every pic is black, i tried then to take it with my daughters bratz camera but the pic quality is crap its all fuzz :wall: i have had shadows b4 so i was really surprised to see an actual line, i still have hope, do you think the tesco tests are any good?

Tesco tests are supposed to be very good.

Good luck Claire, test first thing in the morning. Got everything crossed for you.

ROM - I've had spotting for several days before my AF the last 2 cycles and I have had exactly what you described. So I'll be very interested to hear what your consultant says about it, as the GP I saw was useless.

Chrissy - lovely temp rises for you. Your chart is looking great.

Mine dipped again today :( No symptoms to talk of either. I've got to the point now where I'm not expecting a BFP any time soon.

Loola - Sorry about not getting the promotion but I'm with you, things happen for a reason.

Kmac - Good luck with the BD'ing. Sending lots of Babydust to you.

CB23 - Hope you are enjoying some vino and chocolate whilst AF is here.

I daren't have a drink until the 2ww is up, shame as it's my birthday too.

Oooh babydust, I can wait until you test again  I'm sure the digital ones are not very sensitive at all :x

Chrissy, also looking good

Bagpuss, it's still very early for you, you never know  Also Happy Birthday :cheer: Is it today? Hope your OH and LO spoil you rotten :D

Loola, sorry about not getting the promotion  I agree with the others, less stress will certainly help you get your BFP :)

ROM, I want shares in your HPK factory :rotfl:

kmac, enjoy your BDing ;)

 to everyone else

Claire Tescos test are great - they are cheap £3.88 for two - they do say they are to be used from day AF is due - Sainsbury's and Asda do ones for the same price which can be used 4 days early......... :D

:) thanks rom looks like i will be dragging dh around supermarkets tomorrow, i usually go food shopping with my mum but i dont want her to see my buying tests she knows we are ttc but has never asked me about it  which is quite strange
so i think i will try all 3 different ones to see what happens not that i am addicted to poas :fib:

dh also said tonight that he understands if i am upset and said that he will come to the funeral with me or take care of the girls and let me go, but i have decided not to go, i dont think its the place for exes to go to

Claire you dont need funerals to say goodbye - just having a quiet think about the fun times and saying goodbye that way is just as respectful I think..... but how lovely of your DH to offer to come with you what a sweetie.....

I would recommend Sainsbury's tests to be honest (god its scary I used to know which shops were best to buy Prada!!) They are mid stream ones and easy to use - Asda's look exactly the same but with pink handles rather than purple ones but in my humble opinion they dont have so much dye in them and the lines are much lighter...... Hey do you think they do degrees in the quality of HPT's!!! :rotfl:

Will be keeping everything crossed for you - how exciting its like christmas all over again!!!

I know what you mean about your Mum - I have just spent a couple of hours with mine and she spent the whoe time telling me that she doesnt really think it would be a good idea for us to try for a baby again - HER NERVES COULDNT STAND IT!!!!!! and then she tells me how worried she is everyday about what could have happened to me....... Now I know she is a sweetie and its only worry that I will be ill or upset but I dont really need the pressure from her at the moment - she also went on about how she didnt think Dave would really like it if I got pregnant again as he would be stressed and I didnt understand the worry I had put people through!! Durrrr like I choose to be in the situation...... and hmmmmmm it hasnt been too stressful for me at all!!

right sainsbury's it is :) but dh has gone to the pub tonight so god knows when i will get there tomorrow

why do mums always say the wrong things :shakehead: every time i told my mum i was expecting it was always 'too much for her to handle' every day she would ask me if i still felt sick? still feel pregnant? WHAT, was that ment to help me? so i told dh that i wouldnt tell her till i knew i was out of the woods.

not caught up on this thread yet but just wanted to pop on and say hello to everyone.
I'm not too well at the moment, got stinking head cold and I have also been sitting waiting with a friend who was due xmas eve.
She goes in today to be started.
I have a question on OPK's please.
I have CB digital. Will it only show a smiley face once for my ovulation or will it show over a couple of days.

TIA
