Oh my god I dont believe it!! I felt so sorry for that lady at Christmas, she "lost" her baby around the time of my ectopic and I remember thinking to myself I should pull myself together as she was going through something far more painful!! Why oh why do people do this????

i lost my 2nd son Jamie at 34 weeks and it was the hardest time of my life it really makes me feel sad that people like this do it as it can put some people off being too supportive if someone loses a baby in case they are faking and might cost somebody else support that could be desperately needed
everyone was so supportive when we lost Jamie sometimes i think i would not be here if it wasnt for some of the people on here

Ive not read any of that ladies' posts and I am not sure that I want to! I really dont understand some people. It makes me mad but also kinda sad that someone out there is so unhappy with their own life that they need to make one up!

Well I woke up in the night to a rather loud BEEP BEEP....I was taking my temp in my sleep! I have to confess that it is not the first time I have done it either! Anyone else done that before?

My temp was up this morning so hoping that I have ovd...probably on april fools day!

Had a quick look at some charts this morning but not much new data to stalk. I would comment on yours Rach but there is not much of it at the moment!

On the subject of that sick woman I don't understand anyone pretending to have experienced something that is such a personal tradgedy for lots of other women and to steal pictures too. Unbelievable.

AF got me.

I was really hopeful this month too. 2 more cycles and it will be 12 months.
It just seems to get harder & harder each month when AF comes.

I'm going to tell DH when he gets in from work that I think we need a holiday. Seriously, all the TTC really gets me down each time AF comes - it's so hard.

I think I'm going to suggest a hoiday in June, which gives me 2 months to lose to weight (to get into my bikini!!!), plus when we get back it will be 12 months, so I will then go to the docs. The holiday should help to take my mind off for a while.

Hopefully the doc will be able to extend my luteal phase (everyone has a 2ww, I have a 1ww - i'd love a 2ww!!!). I will wait the 12 months, as the doc will have to help then, and won't be able to tell me to go back in 2 months time.

Chill & Loola - no, I haven't Oved. I knew FF was wrong but wanted to leave the data as it was so not to waste my time with it knowing that it would realise the error of its ways soon enough!

Tasha - good luck with whatever happens in December. My sister and I are exactly one week apart with our B'days and we loved it. Often had joint parties.

Kitty - hope that you get the computers sorted. I know the feeling Vista is a scourge on the earth.

Sally - can't say I have temped in my sleep but maybe it will happen sometime. I do talk a lot apparently.

Babydust - good to see you back. Are you TTC again? Are things better with your DH?

Kmac - I really hope that you get some Ov answers soon.

Well FF thought that I had Oed on CD9 But obviously it was wrong (again!) and my temp plummeted yesterday (don't know why I would be v. surprised if it was a pre O dip) and back up today. OPKs show nada. Ferning micro that I forgot I had until 2 days ago also shows nada.

So I am wondering if this HRT the docotr has put me on, will just give me a 28 day cycle but no Ov. It doesn't matter so much this month as we decided on the weekend not to try just this month. Baby would be due around Xmas, making flying home a problem in November, and I am toying with the idea of going home early (in September) and working at my school/work there for the last term of the year. But if I'm pregnant I wouldn't be able to take that job as you have to go on maternity leave 6 weeks before due date according to department regulations. This way I could hopefully get maternity leave there once I'm back for next year.

Another good thing about it is Sat is my 30th and so I can party!

Hi everyone

AF is on her way, I had a little spotting last night and this morning. I did a test just for the sake of it this morning! BFN, not surprisingly. So into month 12 we go! Im not feeling too miserable cos Im still in wedding mode Saw my parents last night and they will pay for the Reception So Im going to book somewhere in 2 weeks hopefully. Im not so worried about being pregnant at my wedding now as Ive found some really lovely maternity wedding dresses! Please god I really dont want to still be here in 16 months though! I hope we are all at least in 3rd tri by then!

My parents are on holiday next week but their cat Suki is really ill, she seems to have tumours in her stomach and she cant go to the toilet properly The vet has given her some special food which she seems to like so if she starts getting better then great, but the likely hood is that she is not going to get better so I might have to have her put down whilst they are away. Im dreading it She's had a great innings though as she is 19 years old! Poor old lady.

Loola - really sorry to hear the news about your cat. My mum and dad's dog is 16 and i am dreading the day...i know it is not far off too as she is having problems walking

Kaykav - sorry she got you. I know what you mean about falling harder each month. I think a holiday sounds like a great idea! Im going to venice (just for a weekend) in May and I cant wait. I was hoping that I would ov whilst away (as lots of babies are made on holiday apparently) but now i actually hope that I dont ovulate then as it will nice to just be able to forget about TTC for a few days!

Hi all

Well I have had a horrible morning!

I went for my smear test. I was a bit nervous which doesn't help but omg it was horrific! She couldn't find my cervix! She was poking about for ages, and had to use a bigger speculum! Then she said my cervix is tilting so that made it more difficult.

I mentioned my bladder isn't quite right again so she told me I had to get an emergency docs apointment. So I came home had a cup of tea then went back, sat in the waiting room for an hour then saw the doc who can't do much. I peed in another pot (at least I'm good at that now) which will be sent off, in the meantime she told me to take cranberry tablets. I asked her if having a tilted cervix is a bad thing when it comes to ttc but she said not necessarily Obviously I have googled it already but I think i have decided not to stress about it! The doc said she would talk to the nurse and if they think it's a major isse they will call me back in

Then i had to get back for the dishwasher repair man.... RIP dishwasher... but he took nearly 2 hours to reach that conclusion!

Pah!

Anyway, need to have a proper stalk.

kmac, exactly the same happened to me last time too. Took two nurses rummaging about up there with the biggest speculum Was right around ov too. Horrible, think I have a tilted cervix too. Alls I can say is don't get a coil. OMG that was horrid to have put in.

Did a test earlier. Not FMU. Think I'm actually only 7dpo Just wanted to stop myself speculating and nothing does that quite like a BFN

Ah Kmac sorry you've had such an awful morning. On the tilted womb thing I wouldn't worry. When I first joined here I found out I had one through a smear test and asked if it was a problem with TTC. I was inundated with replies by women who had a tilted womb and more than one child. One lady said her mother had one and she was one of 6 children!!!! I managed to fall pg with one too. So try not to worry about it.

I assume if it was majorly out of place the nurse might have said more about it...
I did wonder if it was something to do with (hopefully!!) being near ov, but they say to get it done mid-cycle so that doesn''t make sense..

No plans to get a coil so no worries there!

Still no + on the opk, but my noticeable line is hanging in there..... have decided to limit myself to 3 a day at 2,6 and 10pm. When I'm back at work next week I wn't be able to do the 2pm one so I'll be down to two a day!

I have a tilted cervix too Nurse had trouble finding mine last smear test. If nurses cant find them (who have eyes) how are those poor little spermies (who dont have eyes) meant to find them?

Last time I had a smear (which was 3 years ago now I really have to make an appt!) she had great difficulty in finding my cervix, so I wonder if I have a tilted cervix too hmmmm something to find out. We can go for tests now that we have been TTC for a year so Ill make an appt soon. Im starting to get scared now!
