Quite by surprise I had an almost positive on an OPK this morning with FMU. I dont want to ovulate yet! I was looking forward to the weekend as Im off on Friday, so Id have plenty of day time BDing! My BIL2B is here tonight so we cant get up to any naughtiness. No fair!
I need something drastic to happen to delay ovulation!

Kmac, I'm no expert, but according to Toni Weschler's book, it's not uncommon to have a blip like that, sometimes quite a few days after ovulation, so I'd say you are still in with a chance. At the end of the day it's really the general trend that's important. Let's see what the others say.
I re-read that bit the other day, because my temperatures rose for several days and then one day they took a dip just below the coverline. Then they rose slowly again. They are not rising at the moment but they are staying high-ish if you know what I mean, sometimes just above the coverline.

And now, as promised, an update: I tested this morning at 6 a.m. after lying awake for hours. Mr Clearblue digital said 'Pregnant' after just a few seconds
I am in total shock. Happy but shocked. Not to mention hubby

Of course, I'm now thinking that it may be a falsie, that I should have bought a two-pack, that I shouldn't count my chickens, that anything can happen now... I'm a real pain, I know .

Ive had some really sad news this morning. My parent's dog past away yesterday. She was 16 and a half and the most lovely dog. She has had a fantastic life but it was time for her to go. Her back legs just were not holding her up anymore. I grew up with her so I am obviously devastated

What an emotional week I have had! The very good and the very bad!

14 days PO today, temp still high and a think line on the HPT...I might dip my toes into the 1st tri tomorrow but I dont want to leave you girls

really sorry to hear about your dog Im more devasted when animals pass then people, I know that sounds awful.

Fluffball - I cannot give BIL2B any booze! He probably would pass out pretty quickly but he's so much trouble before he passes out it would not make for a romantic evening He's a Paranoid Schizophrenic you see -its like having a naughty child with him sometimes

In other news Ive just been to a murder scene. It was very grim. I love my job though

I told OH I suspected, but he doesn't believe the test, when I tested with Oli I was a week late so the line was very dark, so seeing a faint thin one makes him think its not real ( and me ) So will do digi

Gosh Loola how did you end up at a murder scene???? With regards to your OPK they say not to test first thing - perhaps if you test after 2.00 pm you will see if its a true +. I am sure I have read somewhere that your LH levels are always higher in the morning and level out during the day. Dont quote me I may well be wrong.....

Claire sorry to hear about your fall - I once fell down the stairs with Josh in my arms - he was only little about 6 months - all the family still laugh as I threw him away from me in order to put my hands down!!! poor boy bounced all up the hallway.....

Tasha line looks good but I understand about wanting to see those words, hopefully you will be able to get a digi soon.

Haha! No Im not a hit woman unfortunately, just a Housing Officer. We had a murder at one of my flats though, quite a while ago, only now the Police have let us see the flat understandably. Ive never seen so much blood in my life! All over the walls, ceiling, the floor was just completely covered, the sofa, TV, everything splattered A man repeatedly stabbed his partner to death in a row over heroin. I REALLY HATE HEROIN! Its the bane of my life in so many ways.

ROM - I have 2 OPKs in my bag to test with during the day, we shall see what results they bring.

Loola - sounds like a tough job (interesting though!). I am a property developer and often feel like murdering some of the builders!

I love all the CSIs, Criminal Minds, Bones etc on telly...I suppose I love gore but probably wouldnt be able to handle it in real life!

Not a chance of that Loola, I just thought I better do one as I am always getting faint lines on any tests so to rule out that I'm not before I get something to start AF it seems to be a sensible idea

I'm really nervous actually - not sure what is going to happen, we are hoping that he will just look at all my past test results and history and give me something to jump start me I have this awful feeling that it maybe more likely that he will want to do more tests which will make it more expensive at a time that we could well do with out it..... Never mind tomorrow will tell

Ive just done another OPK and its almost positive, only slightly lighter than the control line. How annoying. I have loads of EWCM too. Ive decided my body hates me and wants to make life as complicated as possible! I booked a bloody day off on Friday to give me an extra day of BDing at the perfect time and now it looks like its coming early! I guess i might just be having an extra long fertile period which Im not going to complain about. Its not over til we see that temp rise!

I guess if I do ovulate early I might just make it to testing in April! And with April being THE month for BFPs that has to be good right?!
