Chart Stalkers April 2008

Hi Guys

Trudy - a BIG GIGANTIC  to you. It has to be your turn soon. I will be soooooooooo happy to see your BFP.

Loola - you have to work out a way to BD tonight. Just be super quiet. Who cares if he hears anyway? Imagine if you miss the eggie. That would suck. BTW, I love the dress. Gorgeous.

ROM - good luck with the consultant. I hope they put you on clomid.

Babydust - are you feeling better? Falls are scary. I hope you're ok.

Kitty - we are still planning the trip. Have it mostly worked out. The itinerary is jam packed, as there is so much I want to see.

Actually, do any of you know if it is necessary to book caravan parks ahead of time?

Well I am waiting for AF now. I am very anxious for her to arrive. I desperately want to get pregnant next cycle. For some reason the past week has been really hard. I have been very down about not getting pregnant yet. I just want to be able to try again. Thank goodness for these meds that seem to have worked, as it is at least in the forseeable future now. Bless modern science.

Am at work and procrastinating. So better go. Hi to everyone else

Hi Sally, thanks for asking, but it's all quiet and boring on the western front here. AF has just bogged off and so waiting for the action ;-)

Good luck tomorrow ROM, hope they can resolve things for you quick-stylee

Chill

Hiya,

I hope everyone's doing well!

Loola, go for the turkey baster - seemed to help me along. Not sure when I conceived exactly, but we tried the turkey baster after you suggested it! (using the preseed applicator).

1. empty preseed applicator in appropriate place
2. Fill up again using swimmers
3. Empty applicator in appropriate place again.
4. Use wall to elevate legs

ROM - good luck with the consultant

Babydust - i hope you're ok after your fall

Tasha - I have everything crossed for you

Sally12 - sorry to hear about the dog - see you on the other side

fluffball - congratulations - what was your trick? :cheer:

Satch xxx

Meh. :( I really feel like Im ovulating, I have my normal side pain. I secretly suggested the turkey baster technique to my OH but he's not even comfortable doing that with his brother in the next room. So it looks as though Im going to miss my chance this month. I really hope Im wrong about ovulation but all the signs are there, I wont get a chance to get any BDing done before tomorrow night. It might be too late by then. :(

OK Loola now dont panic - a + OPK can mean you are going to ovulate within the next 24 - 36 hours :D so tomorrow night would be just perfect  I think you will get a dip in your temps tomorrow morning and a rise on Thursday :D Relax tonight and have a glass of wine - it maybe the last you get in a while

Oh thank you ladies for your best wishes for tomorrow - everyone is out here tonight so I am just having a nice glass of wine before I go and sort out my bits  I really dont know whether he will want to do an internal tomorrow so thought I best look my best in case  Mind you for the price it is costing us perhaps he will do it for me whilst he is down there :rotfl:

Thanks ROM  I know I always get hysterical around ovulation, I thought I was doing good this month too! But this has thrown me. I hope you are right about ovulation not coming for a few days. I just did another OPK and it wasnt very strong at all. I do have the side pain still, which I usually get the night or so before ovulation. Hopefully the OPK will get stronger tomorrow rather than disappear  I DONT want my EWCM to dry up and I DONT want to see a temp rise! Not just yet anyway!

Any idea as to why ovulation would arrive earlier than usual? I cant see anything about it on FF or in TCOYF.

I'm not sure what would cause your ovulation to be earlier than normal Loola - its not early in the grand scheme of things some people ovulate right after their AF and that can cause problems! To be honest I am sure looking at your temps that you will ovulate either tomorrow or Thursday so perfect timing. Try shouting at your ovaries tonight that should work :rotfl: hmmm perhaps I should stop drinking the wine now.......

You are right ROM - its not that early really, just a bloomin nuisance!
 OH has decided he is going to bed early tonight, Ill try my best seductress routine, I dont think its going to work though somehow!

Glad you are having a drink tonight hun! Really really hope that it all goes ok tomorrow, I will be thinking of you, let us know what happens asap

 thanks everyone i am over my fall now i pulled the muscle in my thigh so feel like i have ran a marathon and can only wear flip flops cause of the carpet burn on my foot. dd needs someone to take her hand going down stair now  but im sure she will get her confidence back.
i cant wait until the girls go back to nursery this is their 2nd week off for half term and i am knackered and running out of places to go to keep them occupied, but the weather has been really nice her past few days, the girls got some sunburn today  i didnt know the sun was so strong.

loola great you got the dress :D and as you know a positive opk only means you will ovulate within the next day or so and the egg can last for 12 hours so you still have plenty of time, and if your dh to be saves his swimmers tonight they will be ready for the march tomorrow

tasha its looking good :cheer: so will your due date be the exact same as your dd birthday?

congratulations fluffball

chill i hate this part of the cycle

sookie when do you go your trip

hi to everyone else, mind you its a bit empy in here now :(

i am waiting, waiting   not going to retest until at least 10dpo and not going to symptom spot either.

 Everyone!

ROM - Good Luck tomorrow! I really hope it goes ok!
Loola - I hope you managed to do some BDing!
sookie - It will happen soon
chill - hope it's your month this time
Sally - I am so sorry about your parent's dog :(
Fluff - :cheer: Congratulations!

I hope everyone else is ok

I have my CD2-5 bloods tomorrow and hubby will probably end up taking them again! We;re popping into the hospital before he goes to a meeting/interview thing up in Sheffield!

I have been naughty today and had to have some chocolate - bloody AF chocolate cravings!!!

I'm not feeling tired yet either - I've been to bed but couldn't sleep!

 Hiya everyone

Well temp has gone down again, im actualy sure af is going to come :|

I am going to put off testing until im a week late if she hasn't shown by then.

Babydust if I am pg I would of been due the same date 'Oli was due, she was a week early :)

Hope everyone else is well

HI all. Well I'm in a happier place now the evil hormones have gone.

Kitty I've made an appointment with the doc for Thurs to see if he'll rerefer me. He probably will he's really good to me. If I could just get everything tested it'd be peace of mind.

Loola - the dress looks fab. Very you. Even the name conjures up 50's glamour. You HAVE to BD tonight. You and I are leading the May charge into 1st Tri!!!

Fluff - congrats. :cheer:

Sally - sorry to here about your dog. I've only had Bruno 3months and I'm dreading that day.

ROM - good luck for today. I hope your lady garden is looking pretty after last nights tending.

Sookie thanks for the  I'm feeling tonnes better. Congrats on the job.

Babydust glad you're okay after you're fall.

Tash - FX it's not over yet!

Welsh polly - don't feel guilty about the chocolate. A little of what you fancy does you good. Hope the tests turn out okay.

Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all okay!

Morning ladies

Tasha, your temps are still way above the coverline - I reckon if they stay above the coverline for another 2 to 4 days then you must be pregnant!

Trudy - Best of luck with the Docs appt, I do hope you get referred.

This was the OPK I had at 1pm yesterday, would you count this as positive?

posOPK.jpg

And then I had this at 7pm, definitely negative:

negopk.jpg

I did another OPK this morning and it had the faintest line ever, so I think my surge has come and gone. I didnt get to BD last night but DH2B knows the score so hes got to give me some lovin tonight! I really hope we havent missed the egg  I still had some EWCM this morning, which was tinged pinky/yellow, ive never had that before. The side pain has gone. The only thing that hasnt happened which usually does for me is that Im not bloated or constipated at all. My temp has risen a little, but no-where near enough to say that ovulation has occurred so hopefully, if I rush home tonight, Ill catch the egg. I may even try to get a half day as OH is far hornier in the day time (always when Im at work )

Sorry the pics are so massive!

Not sure about the pics being positive but they look good to me. If it is positive then you might not have missed the egg as the surge happens before OV. You still have EWCM which is a great sign. Hopefully the rest last night will result in hyper sperm who are dying for a swim!!!! :D

That is a very good point Trudy!! :cheer: Im taking a half day to get some BDing done! Thats dedication! I forgot that OH is having a driving lesson though  but Ill be ready and waiting for him when he gets home! Poor bloke doesnt stand a chance!

 all I'm back! Well he was a lovely man - he just sat there shaking his head in amazement at what we had been through. Anyway to cut a long story short he is going to refer us back to the NHS system with him dealing with our case. He says we shouldnt have to pay for investigations but understood why we were worried about waiting times. He recons he should be able to see us under the NHS within 2/3 months. He has recommended starting back at the beginning as a lot of my tests were done when I was pregnant (but we didnt know), so initially it will mean a detailed scan to check my tubes and ovaries and a sperm test for Dave. He will then decide when and how to induce my period and after that CD3 and 21 day blood tests....... I still feel a bit sad that he wasnt able to give me something to start my cycle today but as Dave said at least he is thorough...... Had to smile when we had told him about the ectopic being in my stomach he said "wow I've got to get hold of you scan pictures I've heard it can happen but have never seen one!!!!"

Great another health professional telling me I am unusual and facinating.....

Anyway sorry this post is all about me but I want to tell you all before Dave's mum and dad arrives for coffee x x x x

oh ROM that is good news!! 2 to 3 months isnt too long to wait at all really.
Any ideas of when you will get something to induce your period? Or are they going to start the tests first?

EDIT: ignore that question - I can see you have answered it already!

That's great news that he's being thorough and you don't have to pay. Hopefully you'll get some answers now.
