Good morning all!
I hope you don't mind me barging in. I joined not too long ago and haven't had a chance to post much (although I do read you all when I have a chance!)

I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking a look at my chart, and tell me if you think I should get myself a testing kit today

I posted yesterday in TTC explaining the whole thing, but I'll summarise:
I have been on the pill for 10 years . My periods before then were long and VERY irregular. So I have always assumed it would take me a loooong time to conceive.

I have only been charting for 2 full months now. First cycle was 27 days (too average to be 'normal' for me). Second one is on day 41 right now, which is more like it. But of course, it's making me put my hopes up...

So I'm wondering, is it possible that my periods have simply changed over the years after such a long time?? Do I have reason to test?
(I am just soooo scared of being disappointed that I'd rather assume it's just a very long cycle).

What do you think?

Just by looking at the chart, I can't help thinking that it may have happened already!
BUT bearing in mind all my circumstances, what's your honest opinion?

Sally you are more than welcome to stay But id also say you should get your bum over to first tri too, your got pregnant on cb digital! hun its like god of the pg tests

Your temps are well above the coverline, have you done a pg test?

if not go buy one! a lutueal phase lasts between 14-16 days from what I have read ( correct me if wrong girls! )

But if you do have very long cycles (I'm talking 45 days and over, which is what mine used to be like all those years ago), wouldn't it look just like that too?
Or would you ovulate even later??

(Sorry, I know I'm just being difficult but I'm desperately trying not to put my hopes up)

The begining of your cycle can range from anything from 10 to 40 to 60 even 90 days for some unlucky women.

But the lp is upto 16 usualy before starting af, I wouldnt say that it would be as long as yours, I really do think you should get a test today, I dont even think it would matter what wee of the day it was

Fluffball, I too think your chart is looking good! You should definately be testing! I have long cycles too (check out my chart) but it wont affect the LP length. test test test! Fingers crossed for you...and make sure you keep us posted!

Sally - Thats really good to know about tests! We still havent got round to doing them yet, we were going to do them this weekend but decided to use the sperm for better reasons

Ive had a lovely weekend actually. Spent alot of time in bed and its too early to be babymaking really so it was nice just to be having fun and generally being silly with my DH2B (i love that! Sally!) looking for pretty things for centrepieces for my wedding tables, wedding favours etc. I love it! Ive also possibly found a wedding dress! I know its way too early to be buying it now, but at the magnificent price of £4.68 on ebay (with £70 p&p) I cant go wrong! Its from China and is made to measure, its a Maggie Sotterro dress and really beautiful. Its only so cheap cos its from China. The bidding ends today! I hope I win it! Even if it doesnt fit or suit me I can sell it on, its worth the risk for £75 I reckon.

Fluffball - First morning urine is the best but at 20 days post ovulation you should get a + at any time of the day or night!

well ff has confirmed ovulation for the 11th so now im really confused by my temps i agree yes i might have ovd but this mornings opk is still positive whats all that about its only as strong as now though not stronger than
right here goes what do you make of this
day 10 as strong as
day 11 stronger than (ff gives me ov day for this day)
day 12 stronger than
day 13 stronger than
day 14 as strong as which is today
im so confused now i really didnt expect to ov till maybe today or 2moro by my opks

Fluffball, yes planning a wedding and TTC!! Mad I know, but we have been TTC for a year now and in all honesty the wedding planning is saving my sanity. At least I have something else to obsess over now I put so much on hold because of TTC and wasted all of the last year fretting about not getting pregnant. The wedding planning has made a huge difference to my life and has restored our relationship which had been very strained due to the lack of pregnancy. I think Im the happiest Ive ever been now! Only one thing could make me happier - A BFP!

i am having a terrible morning, i just fell down the stair holding my dd i have a carpet burn all down my leg and top of my foot , dd is ok i managed to keep her on top of me.


i tested again and the line is the same so i am going to leave it a few days as it was way too early to be testing.

sally dont be scared hun x rach i agree about oving day 11 i have read women who had positives for awhile then the next cycle it didnt happen again, some were pg that cycle but i wouldnt say the constant pos opks were because of that, its weird though. Loola glad you had a lovely day yesterday, oh how i miss lazy sundays staying in bed with OH! Fluffball are u going to cave and test!? Babydust im so sorry to hear about your fall hun, i havd done something similar with DD . your line does look slightly lighter in that pic but i give it time hun, i hope you get your pos!
