Today I was a victim of exploding baby poo.....!!!

J normally goes 3 times a day...he missed his morning poo and decided to make up for it in his afternoon poo!! I felt him going whilst we were snuggled up on the sofa...stood up to change him (him just wearing a vest suit) - and there was so much of it, that it seeped out of his nappy...down my top, my pj's and the sofa (leather thank god!)....yuk!!!!!!!!!!

I could have so wrote this Rian has just done the worst one ever so bad we had to bath him as no amount of wetwipes would get that stuff off lol it was everywhere front and back  xx

Evan had an almighty grump last night - 2 hours of non-stop crying. Gave him a bath which stopped him until he was dried. Of course it would be the night that DH is out.

I'm feeling knackered and hayfever has really kicked in. There isn't really anything I can take for it as I'm bf.

I got a little poo fart on me yesterday but have yet (fx) to experience a bottom explosion. He usually saves that for his bouncy chair and his best babygrows!

Is anyone elses hubby/partners losing their willingness to help??

When i was preggers hubby was always saying he would do night feeds and he has since we brought Rian home but now rian goes from 11pm-5am theres no real night feed and he moans about getting up to do the 5am feed grr really starting to annoy me it is!!

And hes now saying he would like another baby!!! Im so traumatised by Rians birth thats the last thing on my mind!! xx

All I'm going to say hun is men!!! Grrr. My hubby huffs and puffs at having to go and get a bottle which only takes 2 mins with the perfect prep machine. He always stops halfway down the stairs (we have two flights) to either go to the loo or just fanny on. He then messes around in the kitchen whilst I'm comforting ruby who is screaming blue murder for her bottle. I just don't understand men! No bloody rush about them. My hubby would sleep through her crying too. During the day he is fab and does everything but the lack of sleep sends him grumpy.

I feel your pain hun and as for having another baby, just laugh it off, I do. Our births were traumatic xx

Men just don't do well with lack of sleep. I'm breastfeeding so am up every 2-3 hrs in the night. My OH ends up on the couch come early hrs as he needs his sleep for work. (This I don't mind as I have to stop myself from causing him physical pain when he's snoring away in bed as I'm trying to calm a fuzzy baby ) but then when he comes home from work he complains about how tired he is and then goes to bed early. Don't get me wrong, he helps loads with the baby. But before having H I never realised how bad my OH would be with lack of sleep.

I need to make an appointment for my six week check but the receptionist couldn't give me one with a female doctor. So I either make one for the week later or see a male doctor, which I don't really want to do because I don't like any of the male doctors at my surgery. :(

I'm funny about seeing men! I prefer female doctors. Mind you, a male obstetrician performed my ventouse delivery and then stitched me up so why I'm bothered now about it I do not know! Lol xx

Afternoon Ladies,

Hope everyone has had a great weekend so far :-)

DH took JJ out on his own for the first time today and I feel completely lost! This is the first time I have been separated from him and I truly don't know what to do with myself, so am frantically cleaning lol! Just having a 5 min break with a cuppa before I try and find something else to distract myself...

How are all your gorgeous babies getting on?

I really dont think waiting a week will matter. I think they say some time between 4 and 8 weeks is fine. There is no real reason it has to be 6 weeks exactly, thats just about the time most women are reasonably healed and settled into a routine with baby.

I need opinions/advise ladies.

I'm having an issue with Harrison. It's taking us ages to settle him on a night time. I think the issue is his pm snooze. He'll nod off for about 4 hours after his evening feed,7pm-ish, then not wake til 11pm. He'll take his bottle then not settle back to sleep for hours, last night it was 1.40am before he went to sleep!

I'm thinking the problem is the amount of sleep he's having after the 7pm feed, but i'm not sure how to combat it? I was thinking maybe wake him for a bath mid nap, then feed and settle him down in the bedroom? At the min he remains downstairs with us until we go up to bed. But i'm now thinking maybe actually put him to bed upstairs with the monitors on?

What do you ladies think?

I woke Ruby mid sleep today to take her to my grans and she has been in a right grump all day. I think there might be some truth to the saying 'never wake a sleeping baby' lol

We have Ruby downstairs during the day then at about 7pm take her upstairs n close curtains etc Xx

My LO is getting great at his nighttime routine now but i have real issues settling him after his 8pm feed. As soon as we put him down all he does is cry yet if we bring him downstairs with us hes fine and will sleep. I feel like he hates being alone upstairs? Is anyone else having this problem or has anyone got any advice? x

Sit with him for a good while until he is in a deep sleep? I kniw Ruby is in one because her arm flops to the side lol I don't really know because we don't put ruby to bed upstairs with the monitor on xx

Well so much for giving Harrison a bath and settling him to sleep upstairs :(

We woke at about 7.30 in a lovely mood after being fed at 6.30, so we decided to bath in at 8 and fed again at 8.30, as he seems to be going every 2 hours again at the min. Well he loved his bath, didn't scream through it like before. Got him dried and dressed he had his bottle then decided to fight his sleep til 11 o'clock :( I was so
desperate for him to settle early so I could have an early night. By the time he had settled and I'd got my bits done I was only just climbing into bed at midnight.

He's now woken up for his 2.30 feed and is refusing to go back to sleep, he woke himself up pooing. I'm so tired, OH has work in the morning so don't want to be waking him. I'm so looking forward to Harrisons morning nap, just so I can sleep too :( xx

Morning all!

Hope we all enjoyed the weekend :)

Not got a lot planned this week. BF group this afternoon and hospital appt for her hips on Wednesday and that's it so far.

Madam is still asleep, I wanted to go to buggy fit this morning but won't have time to get her fed and ready so will strap on the baby carrier and get out for a good walk instead.

Happy Monday :)

Hey girls, just checking in. Been so run out of time recently lol.
Anna started smiling and giggling last week. Makes me laugh so much! Although last night she was crying and screaming cause of wind :( but today hopefully she's much cheerier and stays like it lol.
Hope you are all ok! Xxx

Morning Ladies,

Hope everyone's well today??

I took JJ in to work yesterday - strangely enough, a lot of people were surprised to see me "up and about so soon"! JJ was 7 weeks yesterday and I have been "up and about" and going out since he was 5 days old lol!!

JJ is going through a cranky phase at the moment and I am struggling a little...about to post about that in the main forum though to get as many responses as possible...please do have a read though!

I'll have a read in a mo. Evan has been more cranky too. It's a combo of him refusing to nap in the day and it being too warm I think.

I took him into work today for cuddles and he was really good. Only got grumpy towards the end but it was very hot. Everyone said I looked really good - not that I feel it.

Bloody hayfever is making me not want to go out for walks or anything :( xx

Rian is going a cranky stage hes not drinking all his milk and really fighting slerp during the day been like it a few days.

Mummy has been bk to docs still got infection in my section wound so now on my 4th lot of antibiotics so fed up xx
