***April & May Mummy & Baby***

Omg today my life totally changed!! I got through in the post

1. dr browns bottles
2. Tommee tippee perfect prep.

Freddie has gone to sleep without any wind after every feed and I haven't been pulling my hair out!!! Those bottles are pure MAGIC!!!!

I'm now in bed and he's sleeping in his Moses basket next to me making cute litte sounds that are like Peter Griffins laugh from Family Guy!!! Hilarious!!!

Long may it continue but fingers crossed today wasn't a fluke!!!!!

Also ordered a poddlepod (www.poddlepod.com) - my sister has one and it's amazing!!! It totally calms them down and gives even mummies who have their Babba attached to them 15 or so minutes of "hands free" time.

All in all a good day for me and I love my new toys!!! :-) x

How much do you love your perfect prep machine? I love mine it's amazing :) xxx

It really is amazing!!! I was beginning to go mental boiling the kettle and turning the oven timer on for 30mins, then forgetting and boiling it again for a cup of coffee, so then I'd have to reset the timer!!!!

I'm absolutely in love with it!!!

Hi ladies,

I haven't posted much lately but I've been stalking and pleased to see everyone is settling into motherhood, it's amazing isn't it!!

I felt I had to post cause I've had an up and down day with Trey where he's been really fidgety all day not really eating or sleeping, I got about 2 hours sleep last night and I spent the day in a zombified state!!! After his 12.30am feed he was sooo fidgety again and I proceeded to burp him for about an hour doing my best to stay calm through his moans and he did a big burp, I was so proud of myself for not giving up and now he's fast asleep.

I can't sleep now tho lol!!

Morning Ladies!

Hope everyone is well today.

Don't know where the sunshine has gone :-( But J and I are out and about a lot today and I can see me getting soaking wet....hate the rain!

We have our 6 week check at 10am...bit nervous as I don't know what it involves?? Im assuming some health checks for little one...guess I will find out soon.

J has been a different baby since we moved to Comfort Milk - very happy with the changes (no colicy outbursts for 3 days now!) and we will keep him on this for the foreseeable! :-)

Have a good day! xx

Aww glad the comfort milk is working for you! Happy baby and happy mummy is the best feeling :)

We have no plans today really. NEED to sort out Father's Day card - trying to do a moonpig one with lots of photos of OH & D but keep getting interrupted!

Got to take the dog out in a bit, but currently trying to keep D placid while her milk cools down as she goes from 0-60 in about 3 seconds

Tapatalking!

Well i one happy mummy today as littleman slept from 11pm to 5am solid so mummy got a good sleep too. He seems to be settling well into a nighttime routine now.

Not much planned just tackling the ever growing mountai of washing lol xx

Omg! That is amazing shell! We only had 4hrs sleep last night in 2hr blocks. Poor hubby has had to go to work on no sleep. I am so jealous of you!

Washing is never ending, I agree xx

Well, our 6 week check up was great - mummy and baby all ok :-) He is putting on weight very well and everyone remarks about what a long baby he is (daddy is 6ft 4ins, so this was inevitable!). He is following his centile line perfectly.

He is now sleeping from around 10pm - 3am/4am and then wakes up again at 6am/7am-ish - I finally feel like we are getting somewhere - and he is definitely a happy little chappy on the comfort milk. I have MrsV's advice to thank for that - thanks hun!!

How are all the other mummies and babies today...? xxx

Hi all, well I had a massive baby brain moment this morning.
I'd planned to meet some friends for coffee. Got my self and baby H all ready. Put his wheels to his pram I the car. Put him and my bag in the car and off we went. When I got to the shops I got the wheels out and went to put baby H, in his car seat on the wheels and realised that I didn't have the car seat adapters! Arghhh! I had to go all the way home again, and of course when I got home baby H decided he wanted feeding and a nappy change! By the time we were ready again my friends had to go back to work :( xxx

I went to the chiropractor today to get myself back in alignment. Left Evan with my parents for 1.5 hours (not a problem really as I live with them!). Still worried he would starve in that time despite topping him up just before I left.

He was fine, I however, managed to reverse the car into a telephone post. I was so angry, it's only caused the fog light to come out of its clip :(

Evan slept from 11ish to 4 last night, great but then I couldn't get back to sleep for ages.

He also has a bit of cradle cap (or cradle crap as I keep mis-saying!). Ordered some natural oil combo for it.

He's also been having a gurgly conversation after morning boob, he's so funny... except when he half snoozes while feeding and then wakes up and chokes for a moment. Scared the (cradle!) crap out of me. He's always fine though.

We've got our 6 week check tomorrow, I'll see if his belly button can be sorted then.

And how the hell do you clean their fingers? I only have to do one hand, but he is still clenching so tightly. I tried dunking it in water between baths but he doesn't open in. Oh and between the toes is a nightmare too!

Bless you Stargirl...these baby brain moments are rubbish aren't they! I wonder if mine will ever be the same again sometimes...! xx

I swear by coconut oil - i put it on Mark, put a bit more in his hair, leave it a bit and gently brush off with a soft cloth ( i used muslin square) and it has gone! He only had a little bit and went bald on top so it was easy.

I just force his hand open to clean. Its still reflex to clench fists.

Chezza, i have babasling and its great! Easy to put on/take off too.
My little boy is very snotty and has trouble napping, i.had a fever close to 39 c on Monday so he got off lightly.

It's great isn't it! Don't know what I'd do without it now :-)

How are the chicken pox coming along...? Hope Mark is doing ok xx

We'll after sleeping loads yesterday Libby has decided that sleeping is for wimps today! She's just had 20 mins and is now wide awake kicking about. So much for me getting any jobs done today. ;)
Got to chuck the Hoover round though.

Hope all the bubs are ok who have had there jabs.
