Welcome MrsHope!

You have been added :-)

Hope you are well - beautiful name for your little one xxx

Morning lovelies,

Well, my optimistic outlook came crashing down this morning. Ada's reflux was so bad, she couldn't even drink her milk. Made me so upset. Had a full-on night too. After going down at 8.00 after her bath, she woke up at 10.30, 1.15, 3.20 (and stayed awake until 4.15), 5.30 and 6.15. I'm exhausted. The only way she'll settle this morning is in her Babybjorn carrier, which means no rest for me. I've had to call in the reinforcements... Grandad is on his way. Trouble is, he's heading back to Spain on Thursday for the rest of the summer. My mum isn't so available as she still works some days, so really need her meds to cure her soon. I don't understand why some days she seems better and then some days worse than ever...

Chezza, I'm glad JJ is finding some relief from the Colief. You might find the Comfort formula has a similar effect, but is more convenient. I have to get out of the house every day. Sometimes she's a dream and sleeps in her pram. Other times she screams constantly and I can only calm her by putting her in the carrier (don't know what I'd do without that!). I'm always a bit on edge until I know how she's going to be, but staying in isn't good for either of us. Sometimes it takes us hours to get out though... I just hope she takes her bottle soon, otherwise I don't know what I'm going to do today. x

PP - happy birthday! Fabulous present! She's a beauty! x

Vin - please tell me your secret, I would give anything for 11-7! In fact, just a block of 4 hours would be good... She's done it in the past. Do you have a daytime routine established? x

Just checking in, all good here.
Feels like they are feeding comstantly, just establishing their supply i guess. Breast feeding getting much easier though and pumping after morning feeds and giving as top up in the evening seems to be working a treat. But i will be glad once they can go a bit longer inbetween feeds, i feel pinned to the sofa somedays! But i still manage to get the housework done somehow ;)
We dont have a garden, so i have to walk the dog with the pram a couple of times a day and i really look forward to it! I was amazed how quick my little dog adapted to the pram, we even manage to all squeeze in the elevater together, haha! No mean feat with a double pram!
Weather is really heating up here, and my swimming pool is open, shame i cant seem to get anywhere near it or the sunshine with these two demanding all my time ;)

Oh bless you :-( Hope granddad can offer you some relief so you can get some sleep. It's truly horrible when you are up every hour / couple of hours - I think I would prefer to stay awake the whole night rather than be woken up that often! Wish I could offer some advice to help you...have you put a shout out on the main forum to see if anyone else has gone through the same thing??

Do you think you are getting the right support from your GP as far as the reflux goes?!? xxx

Sorry mrsv I wish I could :(

No day time routine she feeds about every 2hrs but follow her lead. Sometimes she naps really well other times she's a nightmare.

Wish I could tell you I had a magic trick!

Hope you have a better day hun xx

Off for a walk with some friends and there girls today

Chezza Here's the details for you hun.

His name is Harrison Richard Graham Gray, born on the 1st June at 10.26pm, Weighing 8lb 7oz. Thanks for letting me join :D

Petit Pois - I love your birthday present, how lush is that. Love the colour too :)

Hey mrshope how are you doing? Nice for us all to be back together! Didn't take me much longer to meet my little boy :D

MrsV - I hope you managed to settle your little girl this morning long enough for her to take her bottle. Poor little mite, can't imagine how frustrating/exhausted you must be from seeing your little one so upset. I hope her meds start working for her quickly. x

Nikkiporter - You must be like a superwoman! Having twins, breastfeeding, housework and still managing time to walk the dog! Whats your trick! Took me all my time just to get out the house today lol :D

Vinandbella - 11-7 is amazing you must have been very impressed with that! I hope it doesn't take Harrison too long to lengthen his gaps. At the min he's every 1.5 hours :/

Jolly - How you getting on today my lovely? Hope your recovering nicely?

I am completely in love with my little boy, so worth the wait! Still trying to find a routine, but not to fussed about it yet. I might be in a few more days, what with him feeding every 1.5 hours! I'll be a walking zombie before long lol haha

Thanks ladies :) I've named her Mary after the great Mrs Berry

Got big plans for brownies and a sticky toffee banoffee cake ready for my birthday BBQ on Saturday! Can't wait to get baking!

MrsV - sorry to hear Ada is suffering, that's no fun for anyone :( hope you find a solution soon.

Nikki - you are Wonder Woman! I'm in awe :)

WRT sleeping, we seem to be in a routine of 2/3/4 hr naps in the daytime and 6/7 hrs straight at night. So I'm pretty happy at the moment! Plus this morning Miss D gave me a lovely birthday gift of a lie in til 7am :)

Been out with mum for lunch today and now just feeding/expressing before OH gets home, then we're all out for pizza!

Hope everyone's had a lovely day!

Tapatalking!

Wow, we have new mummies, welcome to everyone.
Nikki, you are indeed a superwoman, feeding one and handling a toddler is hard enough!

I booked Mark's jabs at 8 weeks, not looking forward at all :(
My mastitis is gone and hopefully for good.
Mark is making all sort of noises, smiling but is a tad scared of big brother hugs lol.
These babies are growing so fast!

Tapatalking so cant see signatures

My day has been fairly basic but lovely. Finally got out the house around 12noon, not use to this planning ahead it's a bit different from jumping in the car at a seconds notice!

Only went to town, need a few bits nothing major and it could have waited but it was nice to get out. Stopped off at a little pub for a bite to eat and a fresh orange, something i'd not been able to drink for a while as it set off my acid!

Has anyone else noticed how fast pregnancy related problems have disappeared? I suffered awful with heartburn, which i've not had since the night before i gave birth and also my SPD isn't half as painful! I can actually get myself off the sofa now with out crying :D

Knopk I need to book Libby's jabs, can't believe they are nearly having jabs it seemed so far away when she was first born.

She's woken up and come round after a massive sleep this afternoon and is chewing on her fist :)
