***April & May Mummy & Baby***

We put J down for a nap in his big boys cot this afternoon to see if he would settle as he really isn't settling very well in his moses basket at the moment...and he dropped straight off! So pleased :-)

We also set up his baby video monitor so we can keep an eye on him - it has a talk back function so we can talk to him to settle...and it works a treat!!

It's been a good day today!! See pics attached..."big boys cot" and "Joshua Cam!" :-) xxx

He is absolutely gorgeous! Glad he settled well :) x

Vampybear has detailed a link to the British Red Cross website, which links to a downloadable app for first aid and emergency care for babies and children. It's a fab app, take a look xx

Grace and Joshua are so beautiful! Grace still looks so tiny and that dummy makes J look seriously dinky  xxx

Tapatalking so can't see sigs or click thanks!

My baby boy has returned!!! He had a major grump yesterday morning but after a long walk into town he suddenly stopped being a monster. He fed really well and shockingly settled at 10pm so I could have an early night... of course I couldn't get to sleep. He woke a few times in the night, fed and went straight back to sleep. He must have been knackered.

Decided asking my parents for help is the way forward. As long as Evan is happy it doesn't matter who can soothe him at that moment. I got a 'lie-in' yesterday morning as my dad took over. Fortunately they love helping out with him so it's a win-win.

Just need to work on DH now... anyone else having issues? Don't think he's adjusted to life with baby. Especially when he shouts at the tv when England scored yesterday, just as I settled Evan. If he would have woken him up I would be put away for murder lol!

Yay!! Welcome back Evan ;-) Great to hear!

You are totally right - as long as someone can soothe him and he is happy, that is the main thing. If I lived with my parents they were happy to help, I would definitely let them!

DH has been great 99% of the time - so I guess I am really lucky. However, we had "an incident" lol, over the weekend, where he wanted to lay in because he had done one of the night feeds and had been up for a while trying to settle J...I tried to explain that whilst he wanted a lay in, I would like to prep bottles, do the dishes, have a shower and do some washing and could he watch J...it didn't go down awfully well and he kept saying he needed a lay in! I tried to tell him that sometimes you just have to deal with being tired (I do all the night feeds Sunday - Thursday - its only fair seeing as I am not working and am tired most mornings as I don't lay in and still get up early) - but he didn't understand. I just don't think they fully get it sometimes...?!? xxx

Hello LYLLJT! Welcome

Can you refresh my memory of your little one's arrival date, name and weight please? I will update the first page.

How are you doing?? xx

Morning Ladies,

It's an absolutely beautiful day - so I think J and I might head out for a little drive and pop to the shops a bit later on.

He slept from 7am to 2.30am last night - his longest snooze yet! Just need it to move to 10pm, so he sleeps til 5am and I will be one happy mummy!!

Have a good day, whatever you are all doing...and enjoy the sunshine! xxx

Yes! Definitely about time you'd joined here, was gonna mention to you the other day but forgot  . Hope you and family are doing well xx

Hello ladies!!!

Well it's about time I joined. What a whirlwind it's been since Freddie was born on 23rd!!!

We spent a week in hospital after he was delivered by emcs under general. He had a few infections and was hypothermic.

He's now well and in a week managed to gain weight from 6lb8oz to 6lb12oz!!!

He's such a beautiful baby and doesn't cry very much, but he possets ALL the time!!! He doesn't seem in pain when he eats but is managing to get through 90ml already (ff) when he should really be on 55-75ml for his weight. Even after he's eaten and been sick he still wants more!!!

Then he doesn't seem to want to settle in his Moses basket - we try burping him but he doesn't burp much at all!!

I was so desperate to bring him home from hospital but now we're home I realise I am absolutely clueless and feel like I'm going to break my baby!!!!!

Oh, and here's a piccie of gorgeous Freddie!!!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1370269915.026859.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1370269992.315464.jpg
