***April & May Mummy & Baby***

Someone has swapped my baby for a monster. Major tantrum last night and he started again this morning. Hasn't fed properly since 2am, keep trying but he is getting so worked out. Pretty much on the verge of losing it :(. He is so tired and hungry and have no idea what to do

It appears that the monsters were out in force last night...after having a superb day with J (the best yet and complete scream-free after switching to colief!), he literally had us up all night and has decided to sleep most of the day whilst we have been out and about...

Not sure whether it's the colief affecting him, or just having an off night! Hoping for a little bit of sleep tonight...in the meantime, we are treating ourselves tonight to a massive greek salad, cured meats, olives, baked bread and red wine! We deserve it!

Hope you managed to get Evan sorted out? How are you feeling now? xxx

After refusing to feed this morning he slept on my boob for 15 mins. Tried walking, rocking, bouncing, handing him over to other people etc.

Went for a long walk earlier but he didn't sleep then. He's refusing to feed properly, which is a shame cos he nearly always goes off to sleep after.

He's just in a vest, but I strip him down when he's really screaming. I swear his face nearly goes blue sometimes :(

I am knackered and a complete mess. As I live with DH and my parents I have lots of support, but I feel so overtired myself that I can't sleep even when I get the chance. And the stupid mummy feeling of everytime I hand him over I feel like a failure, especially when he calms down for a bit. I know it gets better (I bloody hope!) but this is a nightmare :(

Try expressing and either using a syringe or cup to feed him so he's not hungry.

Hope he sorts himself out soon.

Hugs hun send OH out with him in the buggy for an hour or so and have a bath and a lie down xx

Dont feel bad handing him over, i found M is better sometimes when he cant smell milk.
I have such a stubborn baby on my hands too.
He has been rolling from tummy for couple of weeks (makes tummy time nearly impossible).
My first son wasnt at all like that. We also have a lot of sounds - thete is a clear A-goo now, its amazing how much they change.
Anyone else has a baby that doesnt like lying down? This monkey wants to either stand or being carried so he can see everything. Same as his older brother and he is so active he almost never switches off. Boys eh

Tapatalking so cant see signatures

Another question....I ask waaay Too many questions on here now haha.
You know when you stop bleeding...does it kinda turn light in colour like a peachy orange colour??? I assumed it would be like with a period where just gets lighter and a bit darker :/ but I'm hardly bleeding now...just when I wipe it's like a clear peachy colour lol.

Tapatalking so I can't see sigs x

Yeah mine went the same x

Same here :-) How are you getting on now and how are you feeling? xx

Ooo that is good! I was wondering if it was infected or something haha. Ooo hope this is the last of the bleeding.
I am actually feeling so much better. I can't believe what a few days out and about can do. I haven't cried for 2 days. I get quite anxious still but nothing compared to how I was. Just getting out and about in town and knowing I can cope has made me feel confident in myself. Also chatted to my OH about everything and he has helped so much. Plus my foof is getting less sore and less bleeding so that is also a reason to smile lol xxx

I have had moments like this with Scott and I find a cuddle in the bath works wonders, I have had baths with him in the middle of the night lol and it instantly calms him down. I then feed him in the bath and he latches on instantly and drinks for ages before going to sleep on my boob. I also find as he's feeding (rugby tackle hold) I gently push his tummy under the water and it really helps bring the wind up out of his belly.

I find 95% of the crying fits are down to wind in the tummy and I have found the same with all my children, I have 4, so over the years have had hundreds of times with a screaming inconsolable baby who is completely settled after a good burp or a fart. The main problem is calming them to bring the wind up because when they are upset they just swallow more air. Try the bath, it will probably work wonders for you both xxx

Lol! Good question! In the past it has happened and tbh It's no hardship for a little while and I just scoop as much as I can out with a jug and rinse myself off good when I get out. I don't jump out the bath in disgust, being a mom for the last 19 years has certainly hardened me to a bit of at poo lmao x

Tapatalking so can't see sigs or click thanks!

Lol - thanks Tambo! I don't mind the odd bit of baby poop - just don't fancy bathing in it  He he xx

I'd rather bath in baby poo than baby snot lol. I really hate snot and bogies, in the past I've been in the bath and my daughter had a cold... Sneezed snot into the water and had me jumping out screaming lmao.
Overall though I'd rather just bath in water haha! I'm not saying I prefer to bath in poo!

Such a cute pic Jazz! She's soooo adorable :)

How is everyone? Enjoying the weather I hope!

So glad to hear you're feeling better JBJ. Getting out of the house does work wonders. And it's good your OH is helping you out.

We've been out and about a lot the last few days, been having breakfast at Roskilly's farm down the road (they make amazing ice cream) and looking at the cows :)

It's been lush down here all week - just hope it stays that way as its my birthday on Tuesday and having big family BBQ on Saturday!

Tapatalking!

She is still tiny they believe my first due date of 21st June was correct and her weirdly long legs made her look much longer than she was x
