Grr!! I've missed so much because of these stupid tapatalk problems on my phone and I can never be bothered to load my laptop!!

I'm going to spend the morning catching up on what everyone's up to!!!

Had to share this- took Freddie's sleeping bag (or bed sock as oh likes to call it!) off this morning and found oh had managed to put his sleep suit on back to front!!!!! Gave me a good old giggle!!!

V&b I'm the same with expressing. I managed to get a good supply in the freeze but that's slowly disappearing again now. A friend told me to just feed off one side in the night and express of the other in the morning but I haven't tried it yet. H won't take formula either.

My OH had gone to work without his lunch! I told home it was it the fridge before he left but he took his bag and forgot the food! Good job he only works 5mins away. My mums gonna watch H while I drop it off to him.

Then H and I are calling for a brew at my friends. We work together too so I can have a good gossip and catch up of what's been happening at work

I think I.need to express at night too as we are meant to.go.out in November and i dont.have a stash.
Just saw an article about aluminium in formula milk, why arent food manufacturers.more strict? They comply to.the minimum but thats it. My eldest was mixed fed and it makes me geel guilty that i potentially exposed him to high aluminium levels. Argh, I should stop reading newspapers. lts like toddler milk has less calcium than cows milk and they are trying to guilt trip mums who couldnt BF into buying it.
Sorry its turned into the rant, but it makes me angry that food manufacturers pass on the cost of advertising and it makes formula expensive but dont spend enough on actually controlling whats in it.

Just got back from our baby swimming. Poor E was a bit cold by the end of it. The shower warmed her up a bit but then she was shivering afterwards until I wrapped her up in this brilliant fleecey all in one I got. Snug as a bug in a rug! It's a bit big now but she'll grow into it

Hi girls. Well jack is still in hospital. He seemed brighter today but still not 100%. He keeps trying to pull out his cannula. He also like to suck on the bandage around it!! The last 48 hrs have been horrendous. Seeing him with his cannula. And bruising on his back from his lumbar puncture and in the space of 12 hours he had 14 heel pricks done!! Testing his blood sugars and sending off his blood gases. But he didn't cry once! Think he was used to it after being in Scbu! Thanx for all ur kind words. It's hard and scary but at least we're in the right place. And the nurses r amazing. Ate a hot meal tonight. The first one since weds lunch. Been living on sandwiches and picnic choc bars!! Had fish and chips in the restaurant here. And we got it at staff prices so paid £2.30 for it! But golly it was delish. The scariest part was when they said about possible meningitis. Scared the shit outta me and OH. But thankfully we r all clear on that front. Jack has been finishing bottles on just 5oz today but at least it's that much on weds he was barely drinking an oz!! Scares me to think what would've happened if we hadn't of called an ambulance. It doesn't bear thinking about really. Anyway I will be trying to sleep on my very uncomfortable hospital bed. Whilst jack sleeps his way through my pain!! Lol. Thanx for ur support over the last couple of days and I'll try and keep updating. Xxx

Those mummy's who bf do you use an electric pump - would you recommend one? The avent one is reduced in tesco at the moment and OH has said he will get me one on his way home from work tomorrow. But don't want to waste our money if they are no good

Had a real grump yesterday, poor monkey has a cold only had 3 30 min naps so was expecting a nightmare night but she was in bed at 7.30 woke at 10.30 for a feed slept till 3 feed woke at 5 feed then she woke me up cooing down the monitor at 7.45!!

OH is attempting the first stage of repairing my car today, it's miserable so me and the babe are having a lazy day.

Want to go out for a carvery later but will see.

What have I missed? How come little jack is in hospital brandnew? Poor little mite, hope what ever it is clears up soon. I know what you mean about heart sinking when you hear the words meningitis, my eldest had that this march just gone. My whole world shattered in just a few seconds. Thankfully the hospital was on the ball.

That's great news bn. So happy for you. Did they ever discover what it was?
Im having the same struggle I seem to be having all the time recently. E is just crying all the time. Am feeding her now and hoping it's bedtime as I'd quite like an evening to myself!

Hey BN glad Jack's better, we've been to Meadowhall today with my mum had a good look at toys for Christmas

Also my new carrier arrived today I'm a little bit in love
