Madam s only had one nap today so bedtime is going to be awful we'll not bedtime but tonight.

Thanks MrsH :) she had fun

Chezza - chocolate and cuddles should defo cheer you up!

You are certainly NOT a bad mummy, its hard with a baba and he's just proving that. You are doing a fab job :)

Sending you hugs chezza. Don't feel bad, you're allowed to have a wobble, it doesn't mean you're a bad mummy. It's hard when they have grumpy days, really hard!

Well I had a lovely meal out. Came home to H flat out on my bed, asked OH why he wasn't in his cot and his reply was "Harry doesn't like the cot- he kept waking!" Funny how Harry likes the cot when I put him in it lol. Men! Lol.

:hugs::hugs::hugs:Chezza hun xx

Little mans been a bit off these last few days cant put my finger on it but hes not himself.

xx

Morning ladies and babies,

I hope you had good nights?!

Trey slept from 9.30pm until 7.15!! He moaned a couple times for his dummy last night but that's all, he was smiling and and cooing in his cot too :) I feel so refreshed this morning.

Off to baby club this morning and then to Zumba later on!

Bad bad night! Think H had bellyache he poo'd 4 times in the space of 3 hrs and then wouldn't settle for me. My OH had to calm him down and he's just fell back asleep on my boob. I'm glad I have nothing planned today - I'm going to be like a zombie later on. :(

Morning Ladies,

Thanks so much for all your kind words yesterday - I woke up feeling a little more positive, but unfortunately JJ has other ideas and is quite miserable again. I guess this is the way the 5th LEAP coupled with teething is going to go for us...25 more days of this...?!?!?

Anyway, to try and hold on to some of my sanity, we are going to my parents today for a few hours...very much looking forward to that.

We are supposed to go to our sing and sign class tmrw, but I really don't know if I should take LO whilst he is like this?? The last time he kicked off, no-one could hear what the class leader was saying, so I had to leave the room anyway...is it worth going, just to keep leaving the room..?!?!?

Hope you all had good nights xxx

Oh dear, sounds like everyone had bad nights. Mine was awful too. Crying & waking every 2 hours or so. Am very jealous you're at the end of the 4th leap, Emma. I can't wait to get my happy smiley baby back.

Have been cooking & freezing purrees in ice cube trays in preparation for when we start on foods. We're going to start at the beginning of next month when she's 5 months. She's starting to get really interested in things though & trying to grab my glass of water out of my hand & drink it.

Am off to my mother & baby group in a bit. Hope she's in a better mood by then.

Bad one here too, not too bad till after 4am then we went to change her nappy as it felt huge she owed when I took nappy off all over sleeping bag, then wouldn't go back do down, ended up sleeping on me for an hour before I put her back in her cot.

Made some porridge fingers for brekkie.

Bad night here too. Didn't feed properly before bed at half 6 (another half hour screamathon) then up at half 9 for a feed. Woke at half 11 and came into bed for cuddles, DH was very impressed as Evan tried to give him his dummy. Back down at half 12, up again at half 4 for a feed, chanced leaving his nappy... Up at half 7 with a soaked through nappy.

Just had half an hour of screaming before he's conked out on me. No baby massage for us today... again.

I've just been brave and called the HV to ask if there are any PND support groups around here. I have been to quite a few baby groups but all the other ladies have happy babies (well at least during the group) and seem very well adjusted to motherhood.

Managed to escape from under Evan and he is now conked on the bed. Really hope his nap helps him feel better, I don't think I can handle another day of non-stop whining/crying/screaming.

Fingers crossed Amy xxx

Well took full dose of calpol and boob to get baby to sleep hope this tooth pops through soon we both need some sleep.

Need to go to the shop and get something for dinner, not sure what I fancy, meatballs? Spag bol? Fish?? Hmmmmmmm

Jack had a bad night too. He was up at 2 and then 5. But he has a terrible temperature today and is ever so grumpy. Poor little man. And trying to get calpol in him is like mission impossible. But I managed to get about half a dose in him. Hope he's gonna be ok. I just worry when he is so out of sorts. And we have another viewing on our house so cleaning like mad. Not a day I want to be doing this really. Never mind. Hope all ur days r better than last night. Xxx

BN calpol is a battle here too, pin arms down and force in whilst she's crying :( hate doing it but she needs it she's like a different baby 10 minutes after having it. I've moved her up to 5ml now too so got even more to get in her

After another scream he's conked out on me. Bloody tooth and now a cold, poor baby isn't getting a break - as mummy isn't.

Hugs for all of us I think!

She's still down! I'd normally wake her but think I'm going to leave her after last night, tooth and I think cold coming I'll leave her to cone round on her own, going to screw up afternoon nap but hey ho worse things happen at sea. It's raining anyway so in no rush to walk to the shops.

After noon ladies,

It would seem all our babies are going through the mill just recently. H stayed at his nannas last night, she bought him home about an hour ago. She said he had such a screaming fit last night but a pain cry not a grumpy cry. She said it seemed to come in waves, his legs would come up and belly go hard. She ended up rushing out to buy gripe water and calpol, when she got back his grandad had got an almighty burp out of him then H passed out from exhaustion. My poor poor little guy, I feel awful for not being there for him :( not that I could have done much more.

I'm wondering if it was the pear he tried yesterday morning although he did have this around 9.30am so you'd have thought the upset belly would have surfaced before 6pm? Or maybe it's because he had 2 'meals' yesterday...maybe his guts can't take 2 just yet. However there not really meals, just 3-4 spoons of purée. Who knows. It sounds evil but I've given him pear today, only pear though if he has an upset tummy again we know he can't have pear....how cruel does that sound, but we need to know.

I've been busy today cleaning and doing purées today I'm freezing apple and sweet potato, tomorrow it'll be swede and butternut squash. Fingers crossed he likes them lol

Xxx

We're having sweet potato today wedges with broccoli for missy and stuffed with cheese for me :)

Mmmm, sounds nice! I love sweet potato. Will gave to get some for E. I've frozen celeriac, parsnips & apple today.
We went to our first mother & baby group this morning. There was 1 woman there whose garden backs onto mine but I've never spoken to before as she's just moved in. Hope she's nice!
