BOOM!! The 4th leap has hit home

He's so so cranky! Won't settle for long at all, nothing entertains him for any great length of time and he's fighting his sleep even when he does sleep it's not for long, 30-40 mins tops! Jeez I have a whole month of this to look forward too :/

I feel your pain, not sure whether the leap has finished for Evan and it's just teething or whether he is still in the leap xxx

I'm in Germany Ceecee. They do things differently here. Clothe sizes are even done in cm & not 0-3, 6-9 months etc. Makes sense really, then all your tall boys wouldn't have to wear 9-12 months clothes!
Good idea with the tape measure, Emma. It'll be a nice momento for later.

That does make sense, Grace grows out of sleep suits the fastest, because her little feet outgrow them too quickly, moving upto 6-9 soon I think!

I've been up pretty much most of the night...not with LO, but with OH. He has been snoring really badly and despite going downstairs to sleep on the sofa, I can still hear him - he is that loud! He thinks he has caught JJ's cold - great...so that's him with man flu and me with no sleep for the next week. Sounds harsh, but his snoring has always been a huge problem - I wore earplugs every night up until LO came along and I obviously cant now...it just feels like I am destined for a life of little or no sleep.

We are going through another rough patch at the moment - we always seems to be getting at each other and fighting - and its starting to wear us both down again. To be honest, things have been quite tough for the last year ever since his parents started kicking off at us...(long story - I posted in "The Girlies Room" (for privacy) section not so long ago about it) - I truly hope our marriage is strong enough to survive - but whilst everything is still unresolved and I sit wondering what his mother will try and do to us next, it's so hard.

Just catching up on this. Sorry too hear things are rough. I don't think they warn you about how hard it is on a marriage to raise a baby. DH and I bicker a lot more and we have much less time snuggling up now. It's all on me cos I am so busy all day with Evan that when he finally goes to sleep I want some me time and means DH misses out. I can't say anything that will help, but know you're not alone and things will get better. Be honest with your DH and both try to be flexible with what you want and what is realistic with a baby in your life now.

Chezza what was the cough medicine that u got for jj?? Jack has an awful cough that keeps makin him sick. Just wondered what one u used as u mentioned that it worked. Xx

BN - I got JJ Tixylix - you are supposed to give 5ml at a time, but he spits it out - if Jack does the same, try 2 x 2.5ml and stick a dummy in straight after Has he got a cold...? The calpol vapour plug in in great too - the nursery smells awesome at the moment and its kept his airways clear throughout the night xx

I have a "Dental Hygienist Headache" at the moment...jeez, she really went to town on me...my last appt was when I was heavily pregnant and I had typical pregnancy gums - bled if you looked at them - so she gave me an easy ride last time and a doubly hard one this morning...ouchy

Just about to start making a nice big shepherds pie for dinner - comfort food for a truly miserable day. It hasn't stopped raining and it doesn't look like its going to.

What are you girls up to this weekend..?? (Amy have a fab holiday by the way...hope Evan is a very good boy for you!) xx

Pooh, all this baby's cutting teeth! Growing up way to fast!

This weekend I'm going to be ironing all our holiday clothes and trying to get organised for our hols on Friday! One week to go, whoop whoop - this holiday has been booked since before I was pregnant.

We're having tomato and bacon pasta bake. Very easy and very filling

We're having fish with lemon and chive sauce, I'm cheating its one of those cook in a bag things lol but in am cutting new potatoes and preparing a salad...that's cooking right? Lol

Can't wait to crawl into bed tonight. After the lack of sleep last night I'm hoping H sleeps through. Fingers crossed xxx

We're having a takeaway not sure if variety yet I fancy kebab but no doubt oh will want Chinese.

I need sleep tonight oh is out from 5.30 in the morning till 10 ish tomorrow night he's off sea fishing I'm gonna be fecked by this time tomorrow.

I think these babies need to stop growing up!

She was fab at swimming again she did 3 swims "dunks" was brilliant mummy did well too dunking her lol

Just read about poor Saralouise and little H, hope he's getting better poor little thing. Makes me shudder when I think of our little ones poorly, even worse having to undergo and operation so small xxx

Took Evan to the docs earlier as he keeps putting his hand behind his ear when screaming with the teething pain. As we're off tomorrow I wanted to check it wasn't an ear infection. He's all fine though and the doc probably thought I was a loon but I can stop worrying.

Got Evan to sleep by myself tonight as DH is doing a gig in Croydon. Had to give him some Calpol but he kept it down and had to give him comfort boob - even though he'd just fed.

Not sure we'll get everything in the car tomorrow, babies need so much junk lol! xxx

Glad little Evan is ok hun. Joshie's been shaking his head a lot recently - wasn't sure if it was teething or ear infection....but it actually seems to be a new little trick he has picked up. He also copies when you poke your tongue out now...weird little being that he is.

OH walked in from work 40 mins ago, helped himself to dinner (that I hadn't touched as I was waiting for him to get in so we could sort "this" out) and has pretty much completely ignored me. I feel very sad tonight.

Off to bed soon, had enough of today...sleepy dust to all babies xx
