***April & May Mummy & Baby***

Well H was in bed for half 7. Slept till 10:50! I couldn't believe it when he woke. I thought he'd sleep for longer as he had a massive feed before bed. I fed him at 10:50. Put him back down at 11:10 and he woke up and wouldn't settle. I ended up putting him back on the boob at half 11 and then I put him back in his cot for midnight. He wouldn't settle agin and the only way he would was me putting him on his belly - like a magic spell he went straight asleep and so do I, fully expecting to be woken again at 2 at the latest for another feed! I was so surprised when H woke me and I saw it was 3:50! Wow! He's missed his earlier night feed! Hope he sleeps past his normal 5am wake up time now! :)

Sorry CHezza, I think I stole your easy night. Just put Ella down to bed awake with the sounds of waves crashing in the background, she popped her thumb in her mouth and fell asleep! Magical!
OH and I don't know what to do with ourselves at the moment in the evenings as we're not used to having them to ourselves ha ha!

I love my highchair I have. It's called Sit'nRelax from Hauck. I've used it since E was born, as it's got a kind of baby bouncy chair that reclines for now and a highchair bit for when she can sit on her own. She always sits with us when we eat. I'm hoping it'll have got her into good habits for things to come.

How dare you Sophie!! Lol xx Glad Ella went down well...hope you had a good night??

Lol Amy....resign yourself to the fact that there is no perfect highchair...and you will be ok! Boooo for AF :-( I had to have a hot water bottle for my last one...first time I've had to do that in years.

DH and I are Christmas mad too. We dedicate a whole weekend to putting up the deccies and they usually go up end of November too

Roughly 11 days left of this dastardly LEAP!!!! It can officially do one!!

BN - you are lucky that Jack got good use out of his moses basket! Joshie outgrew his (somehow) at 8 weeks! Luckily we had his cot up and ready to go.

Stargirl - I hope H continued to have a good night!! xx

Well he slept past 5am but woke at 6 for a feed. Fed him and he went back off but woke at half 7, he's lay next to me on the bed whilst I have my morning cuppa and he is very noisy today :)

Hope everyone has lovely mornings. :)

Morning all, can't believe it expected a nightmare night but she went from 8.30 to 2.30 then 5.30 feed at 7 and is still down. She's stirring now though.

My friend had there little girl yesterday so need to go and get a card already got present. Also need to get some contacts before madam breaks my glass's.

Not sure if I've said but we've got the tripp trapp high chair with baby kit, need to get it set up also want to get a tray for it but keeping my eye on eBay for a second hand one. It was a bargain though wouldn't have paid £150 for it.

Not stirring just brewing a big poop! Hope the nappy can contain it! She's fast asleep again.

Hey girls! just checking in! It is hard getting time to get on my laptop with the LO so mainly just on FB lol.

How are you all?? xxx

Hi ceecee nice to see you back! Sorry to hear about your relationship troubles but it would seem your coping well and fully enjoying motherhood :D also my name is emma berry on Facebook, you can add me if you like :D xx

Amy - don't get me started about high hairs!! Jeez there's so many and they all do fandangled things, I opted for one from babiesRus in the end purely because I got fed up of looking lol it is good tho. Has a instert for smaller babies, reclines has 2trays, goes to different heights etc etc. although its not a good as Sophie's! Hers looks brilliant :)

I am really not looking forward to this 4th leap, it seems horrendous! I don't want a moaning grumbly baby :/

I love Xmas also and always have my decorations up by the 1st December! Ready for the count down :D I've had a Xmas list on the go for a few weeks now, I know what im getting H he's getting a walker!

Sophie our babies seem to be in sync, H went down last night at 8.10 I had to pop his dummy in once, but he was asleep by 8.30, and didn't wake again til 4.30!!! I nearly died of shock when I saw the time lol he had 6oz and was back in his cot asleep by 5 and slept til 7.15. I hope he keeps it up lol

Chezza I forgot to ask, how's JJ getting on with his weaning? Didn't you move from baby rice to puree this week, how's he finding it? Xxx

Jen!!!!

You should get tapatalk app = one handed pf on the mobile!!! Feeding Freddie as we speak!!!

I'm Sarah Nolan on fb if anyone wants to add me, pic is me and Libby in the sea.

She rolled over!!!! Missed it I was in the shower :( she was laid in her cot on her belly looking slightly bewildered but very pleased with herself! Now the fun starts.

Back later ladies and babies

Do love my high chair! Can't wait to start feeding Ella solids. The midwife comes to help again when I start weaning her.

E self-settled at 8:30, then woke at 2:30 & 5:30 for a feed & woke up at 7:30 all smiles! Not quite in sync with Harrison, Emma!

She's just had an epic sleep and slept right through her feed! She woke but has scratched all the cradle cap on her head. It looks awful :( will have to try & put some coconut oil on it and get rid of it as it's obviously bothering her now.
Has anyone had any success removing it and what exactly did you do?

Ordered the high chair - went for the Chicco Polly in the end.

Had a great morning, got up earlier, went to see a friend who has 2 younger kids and childminds a 6 month old. Evan was so well behaved, had a play on the playmat. On the car trip home (5 min journey) he nodded off, so took him out the car seat into the cot and he let out one cry and dozed off! It's a miracle! Going to try to get up earlier (yuck) and set a rough routine to see if that makes a difference.

V&B - yay for rolling over - eyes in the back of your head now!

Sophie - I've kinda left Evan's cradle cap, he only has a small amount on the top of his head but I found using products made it worse. I know a lot of people swear by coconut oil though

Hey Ladies & Babies!

Emma - weaning is going really well! He has 1 x tsp of baby rice mixed with formula in the evening.

I made some apple, pear and apple & pear puree and froze it in ice cube trays - he has a couple of those defrosted to room temp after lunch. He is absolutely loving it!

I am going to make some more fruit / veg purees next week when I am back from hols, using the 10 fruit / veg recommended in my book.

I use coconut oil from Waitrose on JJ - and I've even started using it on my own skin too - it's lush!!

Gutted that the weather is taking a turn for the worst from Friday...our long weekend away could be very wet and windy by the looks of it :-( xxx

I know I'll never be able to turn my back again!

Yep found me ceecee, glad your ok.

Pudds Lexi looks so grown up in that pic! Too cute.

I've bought baby porridge for madam! She's 20 weeks tomorrow so will start her soon on that then move over to blw I think.

Put ceebeebies on off to sort me some lunch out wonder where she'll be when I look in lol

I'd like to use coconut oil but really dislike the smell (and taste) of it

Cradle cap- I didnt use any home remedies in the end because I found that most suggestions like olive oil, coconut oil did work but only briefly. They were more cosmetic though than actually getting rid.

I used dentinox. Wash the hair TWICE with it. It dries it right up and you can comb it out. Was gone in a week. Im a freak, id sit for ages brushing it out. Lol. Xx

Tapatalking! Can't see tickers!

Teething has definitely hit. Resorted to the Calpol before he chewed his entire hand off. He sucked most of it back up but he's now fairly content in his bouncy chair blowing raspberries. My parents are out shopping so getting them to pick me up some teething gel as not sure Calpol agrees with him.

Bloody predictive text. The bane of my life lol! He was sick not sucked it back up!
