Thanks ladies, I feel a bit better about him not rolling now, was beginning to worry a little but I'm sure he'll do it when he's ready. V&B I see you have your lo naked in the picture, that's not a bad idea!! H is a bit of a streaker and loves being naked, I'm gonna buy some bed protectors and try him on his tummy naked lol worth a try :D

Oh knopk so sorry the start of your holiday isn't going to plan, in my relationship I'm the one who always gets injured or Ill before the holiday. It's really annoying. My last holiday I developed a sore throat before flying, whilst over there I spent the first week on antibiotics due to tonsillitis lol

Hey ladies- has everyone had their period? 14 weeks, bottlefeeding and no sign of af - thinking of doing a preggo test as been having insane dreams!! Someone else please tell me they're still waiting for their first period too...

I've had 2 - 1 late June, one last week - they do take a while to settle back in apparently and it can take months! I was a little worried actually because we had a malfunction with, ahem, a little rubber friend  MUST get proper contraception sorted!!!

Are you going to POAS Jolly??? xxx

Oh knopk!!! What's he done...? Are you still able to go today??

Emma - JJ only rolls from front to back (the first being a couple of weeks ago) and he's only done it a handful of times since. Boys are supposed to be slower than girls with milestones...but Amy's LO Evan is disproving that theory and rolling for England at the moment :-) xx

Rubbish night. Up at 12 for a feed, 2.20 to cry do DH had to rock him back to sleep for half an hour, then 6 for a feed and a poo. Although I think he is a little constipated as there was definitely less poo than usual and he was far more uncomfortable with it. He woke at 8.40 happy as bloody Larry.

I feel terrible, no more than 2.5 hours sleep in a row. I've got a horrible headache too. I really feel unable to cope with the lack of sleep. It's almost too hard to smile. I'm seeing my doc on Thurs so I guess it's medication for me.

Hoping I can rally myself soon though...

You don't want them rolling too soon. Nappy and clothes changes are becoming difficult...

Ha! Good point. Luckily JJ hasn't worked out how to roll from back to tummy...yet! As soon as he does, I think the changing table will become obsolete!

Can you try and get a couple of hours sleep this afternoon Amy?? xx

Nope I'm in no rush for her to start.

I'm thinking about moving madam to her cotbed :( I'm not really ready to but I think it will help. She used to sleep like a starfish but can't anymore. Just when to do it, need to get black out blind for her room might see if oh wants to go and get Ons this afternoon as we are out all day tomorrow at Chatsworth fair.

Amy I was just wondering if you take iron tablets. I was so tired in the beginning, already on iron tablets and the doctor increased my dosage. Since then I've found I'm coping with the lack of sleep better. I just wondered if its something to look into.

I'm stuck! Took H for a walk in the wrap and he fell asleep am now back home and he's still asleep and we're both sweaty! There is no way I'll be able to get him out and keep him asleep!

.

Hi stargirl, docs tested me about 6 weeks after birth as I was taking iron but told me to stop. I have been taking the Spatone supplements for the last few weeks though.

He is definitely constipated now :( such a pain in the bum (literally) as the Gaviscon has really helped the acid and sickness. I might try a tiny bit of water now the Gaviscon is mixed with expressed milk.

Fed him with a bottle for the first time so he could actually have the Gaviscon with milk and it go into his mouth and stay there lol. He impressed me though as he fed fine for a moment then looked ar my boob as if to say what the hell is going on here lol! I only expressed 2oz which was enough to mix. He was very happy to be back on the boob to finish his feed though.

FX for a better night tonight, really can't face another night like last night...

Hi girls been on holiday and there was no Internet coverage. Felt like I lost a limb. Anyway hope all the mummies and babies r ok. Missed speaking to everyone. My little jack is now teething. He has one cutting through on the bottom of his mouth. Poor little man. He was so upset and sad yesterday. But I got him some teething granules this morning and thy. Like a miracle. Help settle and soothe him. Hopefully he's not going to suffer too much. Feel so helpless with not knowing why to do for him. Anyway he is well into his evening meal and loving trying new flavours. Big hugs to u all. Xxxx

Evening all,

Up and off in the morning to country fair :)

Hey BN! Hope you had a good holiday...?

We have managed to create a bit of a facebook group amongst us all...if you fancy joining in, let us know :-)

I was using Nelsons teething granules on JJ and they only really took the edge off...have resorted to using Calgel recently and that has really helped him. Poor little sausage was grinding his gums down on my fingers so hard :-( Hate it when you cant help them!! We started him on baby rice on Monday and he is loving it! I've made a batch of home made apple and pear puree (frozen in an ice cube tray at the mo!) which I hope to start him on next week :-)

Glad Jack is taking well to weaning! xx

Well what a day!! Went to a family bbq this afternoon Rian was a gem till about 5.30 and my god did he scream nothing would soothe him nit even me so we left early. Got home he still kicking off refuses bottle sick everywhere. So bathed him changed him and tryed to settle him. He finaly nodded off about 8.30 now snooring in his cot.

He was so overtired as he hasnt had a nap all day!! I have a feeling i will be doing a night feed tonight. Not done one of thise in a while!! Xx

Hope everyone had a good night we did 3 feeds! 1.30, 3 then 5.30 grrrrr

Currently feeding madam hopefully she'll drop off and in going to walk the dogs and get us sorted to head out.

You're welcome...sorry it wasn't more! :-)

Lol...do you know how many DPO you are..?? Could be negative at the moment, but....

I know what you mean though...even though I know it would be ridiculously hard work, I really would love to have another little one soon. Just not sure how that would impact on my job and our finances! We have enough savings to get us through this round of MAT leave...but not enough to do another round within the next year or so! xx
