***April & May Mummy & Baby***

Good luck today brand new.

Well done to all you runners :). I'm going walking but not as often as I could.

Well ladies here's a bit of a self pity rant - I apologise for it now :(

I hardly had any sleep last night because of H's wind. He wouldn't being it up so was very unsettled most of the night. I got up wiv him this morning after oh went to work and god bless my mum I had a complete meltdown on her! She's my hero though, she's took H to the shops for me so I can get a bath and catch up on some sleep. Last night I was at breaking point.

I am now at the point where I think I need to cut dairy out of my diet. I think H suffered last night and some of yesterday afternoon because I had eaten quite a bit of cheese yesterday.

Hope everyone has a Good Friday. X

Poor you, Amy. Hopefully you can catch up on a nap later.

It's great you've got your mum there for you, stargirl. Hope you had a nice bath & feel better. E had wind issues at the beginning & I tried cutting out loads of things from my diet, dairy being one of them. It was one of the culprits on the list of common wind causers the doc gave me. A general rule of thumb is if you get wind issues with a certain food, it will generally be the same for your baby. For me, it's onions.

I'm just sat waiting to get a massage. It's a present from my inlaws for having the baby! They're visiting at the mo & babysitting.

Ah Amy sleep regression must suck! I've only had one night of him sleeping through and he's gone back to waking at 4am! It's torture as I now know he's capable of sleeping through! Lol

Stargirl I hear ya Hun! I've had so so many issues with H and his wind still having issues now with him. He just does not want too give it up, especially on a night time. He'd much rather eat and then sleep, but without getting the wind he's awake within the hour having bellyache. Tut, stubborn babies.

Well done to all the ladies who have started running, I would love to have a run. But I haven't ran since school and I'm 28 now so you can imagine how unfit I am! I am going to buy a new exercise bike tho and give that a go, less impact on the knee. I have a dodgy right knee, just walking for an hour or so will make it ache like mad.

I have a busy day ahead today, need to go to town (walking!) and get J his trainers and bag ready for back to school, walk back home, get tea ready, do the cleaning then go to Asda shopping need to fill these bare cupboards. Then early night as we're driving to Nottingham early in the morning to pick up my friend and her baby who is only 2 weeks younger than H. There both staying over for the weekend, it's the first time I've seen her baby and I can't wait :) we have a trip to the park and a BBQ planned.

Hope you have a good day and a fun filled weekend xxx

Today sucks :(

Evan woke at half 9 and I fed him and he went back to sleep for an hour. When he woke I washed and dressed him but he started rubbing his eyes so put him back in the cot to self settle. That was an hour ago and he's been whining for the last 20 mins. I thought if you caught tired signs early it helps?! Think he's given up. Sleeptime is now a war of who is most stubborn... and I have a very bloody stubborn baby. Anyway must get showered before the fun starts again.

Come back nice Evan, mummy wants to have some fun and playtime today

Kindles here! Bought a refurb one and you can't tell it looks brand new! It's on charge and madam is asleep or she was think she's just woken up.

Off to asda for some nappies then a nice walk then home.

It's all quiet maybe she's still asleep, will have to go and peek.

Hey all,

Hope everyone's ok and not too tired?

Had Freddie's outpatient appt today, due to being in nicu for a week, and the consultant gave him ten out of ten and a gold star!!! So proud of my baby!!!

One thing that upset me was when I asked why he stopped moving and got distressed he said that it could be to do with being so overdue and because they do see a lot of post due date babies in nicu, as well as the not so fortunate babies who sadly don't survive they don't like to see mummies going past 40 weeks!!!!

So why wouldn't they induce me at 41weeks when I told them I was anxious of going overdue because of a friend losing her son at 40&5!!!

Makes me so so mad!!

Never again though- wont be going past 38 weeks next time xxx

Jolly glad Freddie is ok :) it makes you wonder how they make decisions when they know stuff like that, doesn't it.

Well another pj day for us today whilst I try catching up on sleep. Not happening with my active baba though.

Here's a couple of photos of the windy monster

Afternoon Ladies, wow...a lot to catch up on this today!

I've had a really fun day today...DH took the day off and we have had numerous shopping trips out, getting a new wardrobe for LO. He outgrew so many of his clothes so quickly.

We got him weighed today...18lbs!!! And when his legs are straight, he is the length of the changing table!! Wont be able to use it for much longer...my boy is officially massive! I mentioned to the HV about weaning him next week and she said "No, it shouldn't be done until 6 months - we will tell you when he is ready". Yeah, right ok love :-) Joshies last bottle at night is now 10oz and he sometimes moans for more after that - he is a hungry growing boy!!

I'm so sorry that so many of you had bad nights / and are having bad days :-( Naughty babies...be good for your mummies!

V&B - you're kidding?!?!? What on earth is going on??? xxx

Well im having my first rough day with Rian hes just not himself i dont know whats up hes grumpy off his milk fighting his sleep and even mummy cant soothe him :-( he currently napping on sette but hes so restless. I think i can feel a tooth so tryed so teething gel which seems to help. For tbe first time since having him i one stressed out mummy xx

Broad daylight, I think it's been picked up on a truck and taken for scrap. So pigging annoyed.

Just realised madam has been awake for 3 1/2 hrs so I've been trying to get her to sleep but she's fought with every inch of her being so I've put her in her crib and left her with it.
