Libby feeds from about 6.30 till 8.30 - 9.30 then sleeps till 4ish then 5 till 7.30 - 8.

She has a really sniffly nose the last couple of days but she's always been a bit sniffly.

Got Lexi weighed today at exactly 6 weeks, she weighs 10lb 1oz :-D

She slept from 12-9 last night too! Happy Mommy Xx

I am being very brave and heading to a baby group tomorrow. Still nervous about being judged out in public but I suppose it only gets easier the more you do it. Hoping to make some mummy friends too

It was a mums n tots group. Was very friendly but I might wait a few more weeks before I take him again. He was really well behaved... he was saving all his
grumpiness for when we got back! I might do baby massage too but they make you wait until LO is 8 weeks old at least xxx

I wanted to do baby massage but its now only available via referral gutted

Madam has fallen asleep on me I'm now going to attempt moving her and getting in the shower. Wish me luck!

Must book apt with docs for 6 week check up today.

Im amazed. Although Cam was sleeping through at this age. It seems my kiddies LOVE their sleep!!!

Hi ladies, little Miles is doing well sorry I haven't been on much but hubby back at work now so am up most of night and during day! He sleeps at about 9-12pm (when hubby lets me catch a few hours too) and then I only get him down for an hour or two in the night, then he's up all morning till about 2pm and sleeps over tea time if I'm lucky. Hubby sleeping in spare room so it's hard to stay awake in the night feeds, our telly has never been on as much!

I'm getting down about his feeding as after the mastitis and combining feed I can't fill him up with bf alone so he bfs for about an hour then needs a bottle too. Is exhausting as his feeds are lasting over two hours. Any advice?! Also bf is really painful again, my aim is to continue to 6 weeks but we'll see how I cope.

Also other weird thing, when I wind him after bf he's fine but winding him during bottle feeds he screams his head off.....funny little fellow!

A question for you all...how many oz was / is your LO taking at each feed (at 3 weeks old) and how often...??

JJ is taking between 2 - 3oz each feed, but once or twice a day (usually first thing or late at night), 3oz doesn't fill him up and I end up making another 1oz on top, to give him. He seems quite content after that...is it too much though...?

My lo is 3 weeks and is taking JUST over 4oz...so I'm making the bottles up to 5 to save me having to make another not long after a 4oz bottle! He usually leaves just a little! I was a big worried but HV said to ignore what the tins say & just go with what your baby wants! Sometimes he will only take 3 or 4oz out the bottle but more often than not he is taking about 4 & a half! Wee grubber lol

My wee man feeds from me for an hour or so then will polish off almost 5oz of aptimil hungry baby formula. Some days there is no filling him and he has even had two bottles after his feed from me too. Feed on demand i was told so if baby is hungry feed as they obviously need the food for growth spurts. Tho during the night hubby will feed caden 5oz about 1am then at half 5am i will breastfeed for ten mins and he passes out again till about 9am. Nights r great with him but its during the day i strugle as he doesnt stay asleep long so its either grab a nap or get one chore done before he wakes and wants more food.

Its because he takes more air in with the bottle
so his wind will be greater and more painful hun.

Lexi takes mostly three ounces but had two four ounce bottles daily Xx

I'm here! This is weird....I'm a mummy lol. I just written a thread in panic as have some trouble....although she has settled down a lot but hope I'm doing something right. I suspect a tummy ache as she just wants to settle her belly with more food but obviously not gonna give her some as its he has eaten so much and it's not a hunger cry. It's a "what is this!" cry. I feel like a terrible mum when she is crying xxx

I'm up again expressing milk for the 3rd time tonight/this morning. Waking up 3 hourly to pump and feed baby is taking its toll and i am seriously considering switching to formula. I can deal with waking up to feed him but not be attached to this bloody pump for half an hour as well

Morning all, missy slept from 10.30 till 6 this morning, she's back asleep and I'm awake for the day.

Off out for lunch for today with a couple of my friends for my birthday no idea what I'm wearing bought some spanx yesterday hope they work! Need some bits sucking in lol
