**** April 2015 Mummies ****

I have a feeling that my baby will definitely be a May baby. Due date being 28th makes it very likely and I'm pretty sure that she'll arrive late.

I had my last day at work yesterday (no more 11pm finishes and abusive drunk customers yay!) my colleagues got a card, beautiful dress for baby, £20 next voucher and two bouquets of flowers for me. I was so touched it made me sad to leave!

I think it would be quite nice to have a May baby. Though, I'd like to give birth on same day as the Duchess of Cambridge, simply because my husband was born on the same day as Prince Harry so would be quite quirky I guess to have his child also born on the same day as a royal.

I can't believe it is February already! I've got loads on this month - anti d injection, whooping cough injection, got to have my bloods taken again, and have another scan. Also have a wedding to attend and my son's big boy bed can hopefully get sorted this month too.

I'm glad January is over though. It's definitely my least favourite month of the year.

I was wondering about who would be first to have their baby the other night, it's all very exciting!
I think I will be an April mummy, being due in the middle of the month, even if I go over I'll still be April, and there is no history of early babies in my family (I was 10 days late!)

I'm with you on the slow waddling - been like it for weeks cos of my hips! I really want these next couple of months to fly, as I'm not sure how I'm gonna manage!

I've lots of things on this month too Rooster (GTT, scan, consultant, mum and dad visiting, my birthday) so should go quickly.

Xx

Im not too sure if ill go over or not never really had chance too. If I do go over two weeks ill probs end up being induced on my sons 2nd birthday the 9th may if they do let me go over. But with the way my blood pressure keeps creeping up I doubt ill even have chance to go over lol.

Ive only gone into labour on my own with no use of an induction method with my eldest and he was a day early.
There is a history of early babies on both my side and ohs side. But only by about 2 weeks on my side. I was a week early oh was 4 weeks early and so were his brother and sisters.
Fingers crossed Lil madam doesnt go over else ill have a very expensive month of May lol x

Unless I'm early I'll definitely be having an April baby. I've heard they only let you go a maximum of 2 weeks over which will put it at 23rd April but I hope and pray to whoever or whatever is out there that he comes out on time! I'm starting to struggle with everything now at 30 weeks let alone going over to 42 weeks!

Hope everyone is doing ok and have enjoyed their weekends? Me & OH have got tomorrow off work so we can watch the superbowl tonight! Not sure how far into the evening I am going to make it! Kick off is 11:30 and it's due to finish around 3:30 tomorrow morning! could be interesting! xx

I've been roped into watching the super bowl tonight. I have no idea how American football works though!

When I went to America in September I went past the Seahawkes ground a few times though so that's pretty cool :)

Hi all, not posted in absolutely ages so thought I would say hello.
Pregnancy for me has been very up and down to be honest, I'm 31+4 so just under 8 weeks until our little princess is due.
I've almost packed my hospital bags, started to wash some clothes, oh has started to decorate her room, getting furniture for her room this week, started some excersises and also booked on some ante natal classes!
Panicked a bit as my friend had her baby 2 weeks ago at 35 weeks!
Starting to get a bit anxious now about labour and the fact my life is going to change forever, but I'm so looking forward to it!
I've also been wearing a support band which is helping my back too, sitting at a desk all day isn't great!
Seems like everyone is doing well, I'm due 1st April so she may be a March baby!

Ah - good to see you Michellek! Looks like your friends early arrival gave you a boot in the right direction :)

My bags are pretty much packed now, I'm going to sort through them tonight for a final check, nursery is complete, everything washed, collecting final items next week (pushchair and carpet), and start my Nct classes this sat. Baby shower Sunday, Last NCT class is 17th so after that it will feel real and we will be as prepared as we can be i guess!

I had pregnancy massage today at clarins which was lovely, unfortunately my relaxed state was short lived thanks to a hungover husband in a bad mood. Now I need another one!

Welcome back! I'll add your little girl to the front page :-)

All of our clothes are washed, and cribs are in place, pram ready, drawers organised into sizes so hubby can fid. stuff easily. Babygrows for hospital picked out and waiting to be packed, nappies, wipes, breast pads backed, so few more bits to buy and pop in and sort my stuff.

I'm doing a full day antenatal class on 21st, and then I'll be on my maternity leave. Will have a look into aqua natal to keep me moving in the weeks up till his broth from finishing work.

Michelle....my bump band is helping my back too, before wearing it I felt crippled and could hardly walk. Defo recommend them if doing much walking or sitting for long periods xxxx

Hey guys. How u all doing. 1 week left to go at work then I'm on maternity leave :) got glucose test tomorrow which I'm not looking forward to. Hopefully me n my partner can get away next week.

How is everyone this morning? Been a hell of a long night Ollie our youngest boy was up from half 8 with a temp and half hour after he woke up he was sick. He had a beaker of milk before bed and he threw it all up was vile hate seeing him so ill it was horrible I hate seeing him in such a state. He wasnt sick for a few hours after the first lot then just as the superbowl started he was sick again more milk and a bit of the lining of his stomach he fell asleep for a bit and woke up again being sick this time it was just a bit of water. He finally fell back to sleep at half 12 and woke up at 7 this morning seeming better and eatting a bit of dry cheerios watching milkshake. Really need to catch up on sleep but its a no go as ive got a delivery coming today and then hospital for growth scan at half 2 and after that ive gotta see the consultant long day ahead for me xx

Oh no, sounds awful. It is such a worry when your LO gets ill. My son wasn't well last week but luckily seems to be on the mend now.

I had my anti-d injection today but this morning I was sick again and I still feel just... 'off', nothing I can put my finger on really and nothing major, I just feel woozy I guess with a slight dull ache in my headache - but barely painful enough to even class it as a headache.

Whooping Cough jab tomorrow!

It aint half! Im just glad he seems to be better today he has ate some toast n cheerios without any milk.
And he is playing so he seems to be on the mend hopefully it was just a 24 hour bug.

Hope you feel better soon ive had a bit of tummy ache today but nothibg major. Im just at the hospital now waiting for scan x

Just come out of scan just waiting to see consultant now. Lil miss is breech sonographer has said she more than likely wont move and if she does ill defo feel it lol. She was being naughty and wouldnt keep still for measurements but luckily they got what they needed and they think from first scan they got my dates wrong and instead of bein the 26th April if the consultant agrees ill be due the 17th April instead :/

Oh crikey! That's quite a jump! Shall I change your due date on the front page?

My baby was breech at 28 week scan too and they weren't concerned, they said if I had a scan an hour later baby probably would have moved.

Lovely scan picture :-)

Consultant said ive gotta have another scan in 2 weeks to check dates again and make sure they arent cocked up lol
He even said ive got ipro 35 weeks if her to move head down if she doesnt then ill have to have a section as its the safest way to deliver a breech baby xx

Hmmm, I wouldn't worry too much about that just yet. 28 weeks is still early days. My consultant expressed no concern at this stage. My next scan is at 32 weeks, so might get a bit worried if baby is still breech during that scan.

28 weeks is very early to be worrying about babys position! Babies generally move by 36 weeks, but can move right up until you're in labour. Google spinning babies for tips in getting baby into optimum position! & get bouncing on the birthing ball if you have one
I hate that professionals use the terms 'have to' & not allowed! If you want a breech natural birth you are more than entilted and many babies are born naturally breech. Of course by all means choose c sec, but don't feel like you 'have' to do anything. You have the legal right to make your own informed choices :-)
