**** April 2015 Mummies ****

I haven't DTD in months! I'm so swollen down below and feeling massive - I just don't see how i'd find it anyway comfortable, let alone enjoyable!

I'm jealous - wish I had nothing to do! My toddler is completely draining me!

Yeah I'll probably regret saying that in the future and this will probably be the last time I'll ever have to not do anything!

It's lovely rooster. The midwives are amazing! And the rooms are huge too so you won't be lacking in space! :-) even the meals are edible ;-)

Aww pleased to hear that Cossie. What's the post-natal ward like? I had a terrible time on the post natal ward like time at a different hospital so feeling really anxious about that bit!

Congratulations Kitten. Sounds like you did amazingly well to manage all that with no pain relief!

Congratulations Cossie. What an ordeal and stressful for you to. Glad little Alex is safe and sound and looks like such a happy wee thing. Same weight as my lo who is fast becoming a little tubster and he's only 2weeks tmw!

Enjoy your new bundles both of you. And good luck to Emma and anyone else who is making progress. Not long for any of you now really.

Post natal is really good too rooster! The midwives on that ward are amazingly helpful but if you need them to back off or be around more they are. I only had problems with one who was very forceful with BF etc and told me I wasn't allowed to put him to sleep on his front despite the fact that's what she did!!! But that was one care assistant who clearly thought she was above the midwives. However everyone else was amazing and couldn't have helped more. There was a woman opposite whose baby was her 2nd and she basically said if she needed help she'd ask them so they left her to it (where they could). Whereas the other girl on my bay was asking them to take her baby off her every night and they were they to pander to her very whim which is nice if you want the sort of thing. If you want to know anything specific rooster you'll have to let me know! :-)

Congratulations Cossie he is beautiful.

Hope you ladies aren't waiting too much longer for your gorgeous bundles to arrive.

Yay! Emmajaine has had her baby girl! Just a few of us left now. That front page is almost filled bar us lot at the end!

Thanks ladies! Can't believe she is actually here! Was quite a traumatic time in the end (full story in my induction thread) but Alexis is just perfect! Am soo in love with her. Just need her to catch on to the whole sucking to feed thing (kinda important! Lol) which I'm sure she will.

Will try and figure out how to upload a pic when I'm not so shattered!

Xx

Congrats Emma!

Bought a baby journal today and it's so lovely. Now got to wait for the baby to arrive before I can start filling it in!

Had some aches and tightenings today. Nothing major though. I don't want to give birth until next week anyway. I think me and family need a well rested, relaxed weekend after the stressful week we've had!
