We stayed team yellow and as much as I loved it it's just more practical to find out this hime. I'm very excited though! Everyone reckons a girl so we'll see!

I woukd certainly love a girl to heve the set, but two boys is also a really lovely thing so either way I'll be chuffed

Whst about you?

We're finding out, we were gonna be team yellow, but after talking and finances we decided to find out. We can buy a lot of clothes in boxing day sales and save a bit then, we're not struggling with money but every little helps for saving! I thought boy at first but considering how ill I've been everyone is saying girl! Well we'll know in exactly 3 weeks time!xx

Aaaaaaargh!! OH announced this morning that he can't make the scan next Saturday because he's working so has asked me to rearrange for the week after....I can't wait any longer!! Lol
My mum has also messaged me this morning asking about booking the scan (she's paying for it for Xmas and thinks that I'm booking it for after Xmas. If she knows it's before, she'll just pester me until she knows!!). She has said the place we've booked with has had bad reviews recently on mumsnet so has mentioned another place. It happens to be £20 cheaper and you get a dvd, disc of images and 2 a5 colour prints with 4D preview too, for £45 but is only a 10 min scan.
The one we have booked is £65 for a 20 min diagnostic scan with 2 b+w images, 4d preview and option to buy 4d prints for £5 extra. My Aunty went to this place recently and had no problems which is why we booked here.
I need to change the appointment anyway, so do I just stick with where we have booked and get a different apt, or try the other place?
I'm still telling mum that we're having it after Christmas, I'll just make up the appointment date and time lol.

Yessss for no Xmas working! I usually have to work 24th (depending on if work gets finished we either all have it off or none!!) but this year my last day is 22nd because nursery close so I have to have it off!!!

Jenni I don't know. Is the length of scan a big deal? Because that looks like the only negative? What kind of bad reviews are there on your current place?? What does your gut say? Also - sod your OH, go without him! Hahaha!! Xx

fab news about no work over Xmas I'm very lucky this year and will be finishing on 17th only 6 more working days for me! And still so much to do for xmas......
The length of the scan doesn't bother me too much, as long as I get to find out what it is and get some good pics. The reviews just say they're miserable, rude, unprofessional and that they won't give the gender revealing shots (potty shot!) which I kind of want. I'm leaning towards the other place I think. I've sent them a message to see what availability p
Haha I thought about just going on my own tomorrow lol, but I think he's actually looking forward to it now :-O

They found Charlies willy within anout 5 seconds lol. Ours was a 15min app and tbh after 5mins i felt a bit awkward constantly going 'awww, awwww.. Aw look' hahaha!

I've worked almost every Christmas for 13 years (baring being on Mat leave) so it's lovely to have it off! Especially as I would have to sleep some of Xmas day if I had been at work (I do nights) so it will be nice especially as Luke will really get this Christmas and it's the last one where he's an only child.

I've booked in at the other place for Monday at 7.15 Turns out it's only £35 too so even better. I might still tell mum it's £45 tho haha OH better make sure he's home on time Monday! Xxx
