I'm doing atkins and fair enough its got me nearly 2 stone off at this stage now I wouldn't recommend it
I don't know whether this is linked or whether its something I should get checked by the dr but it has gave me a side effect of 'loose movements'. I have introduced carbs back in but only good carbs like all bran, porridge, higher carbed fruit and wholemeal bread. Although I limit the bread to a few times a week. I think I'll abandon it after xmas and just bascially follow a healthy diet and exercise
It has learned me not to overeat though and I haven't had crisps cake chocolate (except atkins chocolate) since July
And never feel like any either.
So the concept is good in that you cut rubbish out but the less bad carbs you're eating the less sugar you crave
But all in moderation. Slimming world seems mint at the minute especially with the extra easy plan
so you can have a balance of red/green free foods plus syns
I done very well on it too and couldn't belive I was eating huge jackets with beans and cheese and platefuls of pasta and still loosing
Its a very satisfying diet
