***** October 2015 Mummies ******

Wow ladies, the front page is filling up now - loving all the new arrivals :) xx

So exciting Chloe...how are things now?

I had a really positive induction with Oliver...do you know what day they will be inducing hun?

Hope the S&S goes well Gail...they tried on 3 occasions with me while I was heading to 42 weeks and couldnt do a single successful one because my cervix was closed with a "no entry" sign on the door! Most of the time though, the midwives can do it with no issues....You could have little one with you this time next week?! xx

Hi girls! Hope you're all well. Just checking in to say baby Patrick was born yesterday morning at 11.30 weighing 3.52kg. He's absolutely amazing and completely perfect. We're so in love with him.

In the end forceps were needed but he's here and safe which is the main thing. I'm still in hospital but once I'm home I'll write a full birth story. Xx

Congratulations littletwix- cant wait to hear all about it x Good luck Chloe hope baby makes an appearance soon x

She says they need to try and get their statistics down for the number of inductions they do so are doing stretch and sweeps on everyone from 40 weeks if theyll have it lol

Let's hope she has a good old rummage then :)

I'm having a few tightenings this evening...have had period cramps for the past couple of days. No Braxton Hicks throughout pregnancy so these are new. I don't think i'll start naturally though...not getting my hopes up x

Had 38 week midwife appointment today. Everything's looking good. He's still head down and engaged. Midwife will come out and do sweep at 40 weeks which is less than 2 weeks now eek! She reckons he'll be a 7 pounder not 8 which suits me fine :)

Hi guys I've just been looking at the first page (the due dates) and I'm down for 31st instead of the 28th. Who can change it? :)

Well contractions never started - except for 1 hour where they were coming every 10 mins, but then stopped - so I'm back in hospital waiting to be induced :( Apparently cervix is already favourable, so will go straight on the drip, which I'm not looking forward to.

Labour ward is full at the moment so it's just a case of waiting til there's a room for me.

Was really hoping to avoid induction this time, but doesn't look like it.

Still, whatever gets baby here safely... Xx

Chloe - thinking of you, hope induction goes smoothly. As it's not your first in hoping it's true that they get easier. Can't wait to hear your news xx

Good luck within the induction, Chloe!

Still no baby here. And last night was calm, after three evenings of false labour. Dunno what my body is up to, but I hope it knows what it's doing! :P

Good luck chloe

Hope you managed to rest up well solveig xx

I'm fed up of empty promises from my body! Please something happen, anything! !

Mild show Saturday and nothing since, the occasional twinge but nothing to write home about. Yesterday I had 6 different people send me the standard 'are you still pregnant? ' message. Have you heard otherwise? Then yes, yes I am. Gggrrr!

Good luck today Chloe hopefully you are nearly there x feeling sorry for you ladies with your bodies leading you up the garden path I know how that feels! Seems to be more frequent with ladies who have already had children. It's all helping tho and the end is nigh x

Good luck Chloe xx

Congrats littletwix on baby Patrick :)

I'm with everyone on the frustrating false starts, I never had it with my first, it was a contraction then a few hours later he was here. This one I've had contractions, sickness, clearouts, plug, all of it for last 2 weeks but nothing to show for it. If you're coming baby then just bloody well do it lol!!!! So fed up now, everything hurts and is uncomfortable and I want to meet my baby.

Slept like a log last night. Have had a few twinges today, and the cat won't leave me alone. Wonder if she knows something I don't! Would be fab if things got going today, won't say no thanks to a due date baby (due tomorrow). Not really getting my hopes up though!

Aw Petchy I hope things get moving for you soon, you've probably had the most false starts!!!

I've just realised I hadn't washed the moses basket sheets and covers (it's been in the loft 4 years!!!) so panicked and got them in the wash this morning! Would have had no where for babba to sleep otherwise lol!!!!

I wouldn't call it false starts really. It's been pretty apparent it wasn't the real deal, I'll recognise that when it sets in! More that I'm hopeful these episodes will help my body along and eventually carry on and become the real thing instead of just trailing off again.

Induction was actually great! Had drip in but could still move around and bounce on the ball, and managed to do it with just gas and air - so am very proud of myself!!
Little Nicole was born today at 9am and she's perfect!
Good luck to those of you still waiting - won't be long! xx
