Wish I was finishing now petchy. 4 weeks left at work for me. Been struggling today with getting around comfortably. Feel like I've got a permanent stitch on my right hand side. Think he's running out of room in there and digging in my ribs. Not fun

First official day of maternity leave today! Went for my 37 week MW appointment & BP was not behaving so sent to Women's Hospital for observations. Thankfully no protein in my urine & BP settled down little so have been allowed home. They r sending out MW on Thurs to check me over again as they r worried it may be start of pre-eclampsia again (got PE at 37+5 in first pregnancy). Was hoping to have more time with my little girl before things kicked off this time, also hoping for vbac. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies that things settle down.
Georgesmum, did you get to speak to a doctor yet? Measuring small is an indicator of PE, but I'm not sure at what point it becomes a problem, im sure they will try to keep baby cooking for as long as is safe, hopefully someone has spoken to you at this stage. Sending you virtual hugs you must be so fed up.

Well after a night of period pain and losing plug all night, feeling fine now!! I'll be quite glad to get to the weekend as I have a few nice things planned this week!

It's our 9th anniversary today. Got hubby a card but told him his present is a son... coming soon! I will pop out to the butcher and at least get a decent steak for tonight

I reckon I'm gonna be a November!! I was 9 days late last time and feel ready to pop already so can almost guarantee I'll go late!!!!

I'm fairly certain I'll pop in October, my due date being pretty much mid-month. Having said that, once I reach 37 weeks (which is Weds next week, on the 23rd) I'd be happy for her to come along out and prove me wrong if she so wishes!

Ok, so with Norway counting a pregnancy as 40+3 and the UK counting it as 40+0...

Last time my due date was the 2nd of February (40+0) and my labour started in the morning of the 6th, so 40+4. DS was born just before 1am on the 8th.

With the 17th as my due date this time (40+3) I am hoping not to go very overdue. I'll be 40+4 on the 18th - isn't that a nice date to aim for? I'm placing an order for that, please

If baby isn't here by the 3rd November he will be getting evicted anyway so hoping he will kindly come of his own accord before then. Mind you he is still breech so if he stays that way he will be coming around the 23rd October xx

Ladies, how often do you experience BraxtonH? I recently seem to be getting them all the time! They are still not painful but very frequents and sometimes accompanied by hot flushes. Should I be concerned? x

I've been getting really strong braxton hicks, there actually quite breath taking. I'm feeling them at the top of my bump.

Being early would be lovely but not too early as hubby is away at work for 3 nights when I'm 38 weeks.

Something of been thinking about. Might sound silly. But I never went into labour with Piper as I was induced. So what happens when you go into labour at home? We need to wait until the contractions are wishing 10mins etc...
But I'm really worried about is what I do with Piper? Would I just send her away as soon as I start contracting etc? Do I call hubby straight away and get him home? What if it's a long process and she ends up away for hours? I don't want her to see me in pain though.
