***** October 2015 Mummies ******

I was in my bath just there...
I was looking at my nipples to see if i had any dried colostrum again
(there wasnt)
But... My nipples looked like theyve turned browny coloured??
Is that normal??

Morning Ladies!

Gail, mine are turning brown as well, I think its normal :)

Morning ladies, just jumping over from September Mummies to say brown nipples are definitely normal when pregnant and if they get massive that is normal too lol. Mine never really returned to normal after my daughter either, they got a bit paler again but not like they were before and as soon as I fell pregnant with my son they went super dark again. All normal :) x

Here's my bump, it's been a while since I took a picture :)

Thats not a bump
Thats actually a football up your dress lol
Its so pronounced and lovely!

Haha, Gail! People keep saying the same thing to me. I swear it is not a ball

my moses basket and crib went in to place yesterday, so lovely but surreal all at the same time! The cats have been completely unfussed by them, they did have a little sniff and a look, but nothing more than that. They both have cat nets on just in case but so far things are looking good....!

Still waiting to hear from the midwife as to the reason our parentcraft session were left AWOL outside the centre on Monday. Nothing yet! I'll give them until this evening then I'll chase it up.

only 2 and a half weeks left at work; woo!! :)

34 weeks today, time is flying! Had a midwife appt today, all is going well. BP and urine both fine, baby girl growing perfectly! Also got to have a little tour of the labour ward today, which was nice! Such a small and cosy unit, a far cry from the "birthing factory" at Leicester Royal infirmary, where I had my DS! OH and DS will even be allowed to stay with me day and night throughout my stay most likely - unless they're very busy and no family rooms are free. And I'll be allowed a water birth despite having a vbac :)

Awrr it's so nice getting nursery things finalised isn't it. Wow I've suddenly got really strong braxton hicks I wish I could go for a lie down but I have a lively toddler here. Anyone else addicted to ice cold milk at the moment mmmm I can't get enough

Nice bumps ladies :) I feel like mine has dropped over the past few days - it's so heavy like a lead balloon!

Stacey, I am loving a glass of cold orange juice first thing in the morning - I won't be exaggerating if I say this is something I actually look forward to every morning

I get hips of BH but they are not painful so I don't mind them...just now!

Can't wait to start setting everything up w/c 21st September!!!!!! x

Everything just seems to have become slightly more of a struggle of late and it's winding me up. I hate feeling useless! I haven't done proper exercise for almost 2 weeks now, gggrrr. Desperate to get in the pool, but can't go until after work and once I've had my lunch I'm so tired the thought of trying to swim is tiring in itself!

My OH had to do my shoe laces up for me Monday and I got so agitated! I've figured out a way to do it myself now though, but think I'll only get away with it for a couple of weeks. ....

I feel the same Carrie, it sucks. Haven't been able to swim now for a while because of my weird hand injury. I know it sounds ridiculous but I definitely have pulled a muscle in my hand from swimming! Must be the relaxin or something??

I want to get out and walk, but I don't really fancy going on my own and the OH gets home from work and is so tired that he cant muster up the energy. Might have to put on my big girl pants and head out after work for a bit!

I ordered and took delivery of my new aerobic step last week ready for when bubs is here and I am given the go ahead to crack on with exercise :) Going to get Youtube up on the TV and choose a routine. Had a little look the other day and there are quite a few. Got me ol' Bodycombat DVDs too, get some practice in before I get back to the gym lol! I sound terrible! Exercise isn't the only thing I think about, honest.......!

Your not terrible hun ..I keep daydreaming about getting back in shape too, when the reality is I can hardly muster up the energy to nip to the shop at the moment! We aren't in control of things at the moment our babies have taken over our bodies - but nearly there now! Last month girls we can do this!

Exactly Stacey, that's what I keep telling myself when I can't stop eating! but's true, we just have to listen to our bodies :)

Don't know how I'm going to get through the next few weeks in work, it's going to be so hard!

The photograph of the little Syrian boy washed up on the shore is so upsetting. Can't look at any news websites :(

If I'm honest I have stopped thinking about exercising all together and just trying to get as much rest as possible. I will worry about my shape (or the lack of it) after the baby is here, and we are all settled and pain-free ;) x

Oh my god I know I can't bear to look at those pictures It's so awful...I got upset at the one with the lady trying to swim in the sea with her baby. and hearing about that lorry with 70 people inside - those poor poor people :( I think the european union needs to all come together and come up with a collective quick crisis plan instead of all the seperate countries having different rules and arguing about whose responsibility it is. They are obviously in a serious state and need basic humanitarian aid - I'm sure the bloody benefits system is the last thing on their minds
