***** October 2015 Mummies ******

Ladies, we have our babies next month!!!!!! :) Morning! hoep you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend (for UK) hope the next few weeks pass quickly for those working, and those feeling unwell get better very very quickly.

Georgesmum - any updates on your bp?? I hope it stabilises for you ASAP! it must be miserable being in hospital.

I can't believe it's next month we're having our babies either! Although I look like I'm about to pop at any moment. I am massive! I'm short which doesn't help. I've this tiny body and this enormo-dome out the front. I'll miss it when it's gone though!

Four weeks until I'm on maternity leave. Woohoo! Can't wait!

I hope everyone's aches and pains are a bit better today. Rest is what we all need xx

Barbara, hope your BP has settled by now and you can spend some time at home x

Petchy, sorry to hear about your spd, make sure you get plenty of rest and do not feel guilty about it! x

Our babies will be with us next month yay! This is so exciting and scary at the same time!

17 days left until I'm off work

Have you heard the good news re free meningitis vaccine for babies from today?! http://news.stv.tv/scotland/1327759...nd-england-to-receive-new-meningitis-vaccine/

hey all, hope you are all ok. Seems so scary that our babies will be arriving so soon.

BP rose considerably yesterday. On medication now and no more going home now unfortunately. They are talking about getting me to 35.5 weeks now.

So sorry hun :(((( But you will get to meet you baby sooner, so that's good x

The fact that we ate due next month is exciting and scary all at the same time. It's so nuts! Was meant to have first parent craft class last night;10 preggos who wanted to be on the sofa and 10 OHs who wanted to be watching tv left standing outside because the person running it never turned up! They're lucky I am able to see the funny side and it isn't middle of winter!

Thats crap carrie
What a waste of your time
People can travel quite far for those types of things too

Georgesmum... How awful
Only 4 weeks til you meet your baby
That'll still make you an October mummy if youre very lucky but looks like youll be having him in September
Does the high bp make you feel any different?
Hopefully the medication helps you lower it if even slightly x

I get this at night an only if I've been laying on my left side for too long.
I used to get it more often before I figured out that it was caused by my bad posture. Maybe try applying extra lower back support when sitting down x

I'll be in for induction in 3 weeks time :)

I'm going to happily say goodbye to my pregnancy time (basically been pg or breast feeding for 6 years now with all the mcs), and hello to enjoying my family.

Jess has really started to play up in the last few weeks. She's always been such a good girl its a shocker. Sheknows II'm slow to get to her so is doing all sorts of things she shouldn't. At the same time she's clingy which again isn't like her. I'm wondering how this will go if I end up in for a few days???

Barbara, glad they won't leave you languishing for too much longer, I've been thinking of you loads, must be horrible being away from your little boy. X

My back burns with bad posture shelly
Lying down or sat up
Always need my support pillow in bed now
Dreading work tomorrow. The chair kills my back something chronic

Get your work to asses your sitting position and you can ask for a chair with proper back support

I have one
I have hypermobility though and lots of it is around lack of core and upper body strength which arent helped by everything relaxing further from the hormones
I just need to keep moving a lot. Cant sit more than 20 or 30 mins x

I feel your pain... sitting at the desk is becoming increasingly difficult! Make sure you move a lot then, the end is nearly here ;) x

Georgesmum That sucks that your now on meds, I hope the next few weeks fly in for you xx

Fliss - Three weeks is going to go by so quickly for you! There'll be a labour thread for you in no time :)

I'm the same girls if I sit too long. My bum/coccyx starts to ache and then I get all knots on my lower back that can take days to go. I've a fancy chair in work too but I think like you karolina it's my posture. When I'm concentrating I find myself sitting in the most awkward positions halfway off the seat. I don't know how I manage it!

Lifting things isn't good either, I'd say women with toddlers get spd way more than those without! But It'll all be worth it in the end. I can't wait for baby cuddles :)

Fliss i cant believe youll have a baby in 3 weeks
Why you getting induced then again?
I dont think I'll be ready if i had only 3 weeks to go. Ive got a month left at work for a start and i don't think I'll even have my kitchen in by then! X

Hoping the meds work for you Barbara - poor thing stuck in hospital already I've got everything crossed for you.

I'm feeling excited - I spoke to my boss about taking unpaid leave for this Sat and having my last shift on Friday and he's agreed it :D so only one more shift at work on Fri and I'm done- I can get chilling and just concentrating on preparing for my our new baby . I've bought a hypno-birthing book/cd to listen to after it really worked for my mate I've decided to copy her - she was in labour for a total of 1 hour 40 mins - can't even remember pushing was totally zoned out - no stitches, no difficulties, just a relaxed birth. -errrrrrm yes please I'll have some of that!

I know! I wonder if she was actually hypnotised or just had a very easy birth either way it's worth a shot! I'll probably be chucking it out the window when I'm in agony haha
