***** October 2015 Mummies ******

Hope everyone keeping well :), I don't mind being a late Sept mummy (after 25th) but preferably not an early Sept mummy. I see the consultant on Thur & it's his call regarding induction (Iif they want to do it & when)xx

I've felt lile you bunny
Cant decide if its partly viral or just part and parcel of pregnancy x

Really hoping I'm not a September mummy as I'm only finishing work on the 25th!

My little girl was born at 41 weeks though after induction so would like to experience going into labour naturally if I can.

Georgesmum that sounds really tough, will be thinking of you xx

Thinking of you Barbara, hope all goes well and they don't have to keep you in until week 38 or so x

We are having an amazing day weather wise here! Its sunny with warm wind so I took the opportunity and washed all the baby clothes and my hospital clothes that are currently drying outside.

I counted 28 body suits and 17 sleep suits sizes newborn to 3 months. I think we are set! X

Any ideas of relief from bleeding piles girlies? ( sorry, tmi i know) :( x

Sorry Mrs I have no advice. hope it gets better soon.

Doctor let me go on day release today, back in now but was great to have a wonder round newcastle with my little boy!

Sorry Mrs S I've never had that...maybe there's something at the chemists that you can buy.

Oooh hopefully things are looking good for you Georgesmum..fingers crossed they get your bp stable and you can go home again x

First of all stop using toilet paper and only use water wipes or face whipes soked in water. Do not whip but more like pat around it.

I know its a pain but it will go away. You can also use cream on it, my midwife said Anusol is the best non-steroid cream out there.

Hope it gets better soon x

I suffered quite badly last pregnancy & I used annusol, it actually worked really well, again try not to strain, no tight underwear, & pat rather than wipe. I feel ur pain literally!

Oh that's good that they let you out for a little bit, hopefully they can manage everything with medication until you get to 37 weeks. Being in hospital is miserable, let us know if u need any entertaining! Must be miserable being seep rated from your little boy, does he understand at all?
My Hubbie has to go to Boston for a week on Monday & we're both quite anxious incase anything happens while he is away (PE kicked in at 37 weeks on my last pregnancy). His family are also away on holiday at same time unfortunately, so my Dad is travelling over from Dublin to mind us just in case lol!

I use wet wipes
I dont strain on purpose it just comes out top big (sorry tmi again lol)
And i dont wear anything tight
Ill just need to try patting and eating more fibre if i can to see if it helps
I'll go back to lactulose too x

Yey for day release, must have been so nice to get off the ward and in the real world for a bit!!!!

Oof sounds painful Gail, don't have any advice but hope you can find something to help.

I fell over today was carrying/dragging my huge nearly 4 yr old tantruming child, lost my balance as haven't been eating so a bit squiffy on my feet anyway, and fell head over heels over the top of him. Took most of it in my knees and back but bump got knocked and was so sore and crampy. Had to go lie down for an hour then baby started kicking loads and has been since so think all ok! Scared the bejeezus out of me!!!!

Always treat with suppositories. My fav is germaloids as you can just pick them off the shelf in the supermarket. Piles start inside so if you treat externally it's the tip of the iceberg! Using a suppository will treat it at the source, shrink it down and coat things so you don't have irritation passing poos. Hope that helps!

Oh my gosh bunny, you must've gotten an awful fright. Take it easy over the next few days, I'd say that shook you a bit

No advice re piles other than, ouch! I had a fissure (tear) inside there years ago and it was one of the sorest things ever. Was on suppositories for it but they had cortisone, prob not something you could take whole pregnant though?? They were like magic...

That's great that you got out Georgesmum, you must be feeling so cooped up. Thinking of you hon x

Rachael your fall must have been scary. I feel like a right cow when jess wants me to pick her up and I say no. It's hardest when they are melting down in public :-(

Barbara hope the day release continues.

Well I lost what looked like some plug last night. Not panicking as this happened 2 weeks before jess arrived. Hope it means I won't need induction!

35 weeks today! Somehow it feels like a huge milestone!

Ps. Ladies, those of you with toddlers deserve a medal, honestly x

Oh Bunny take care after falling & make sure if your Rhesus negative you go get Anti D jag!

Fliss I've been thinking that we might start losing but of our plugs about now, getting scary close!!

My house looks like flat pack city, all the furniture I ordered from Ikea was delivered on Thur, then yesterday we collected our cot (it's huge!!!!).

Hubby has lots of building to do today lol xx

I am very jealous of all the 1st time mummies not having a toddler in tow. Who knew 3 year olds were such hard work.

Youll need to show us nursery update pics michelle!

How do you know its your mucus plug?
In what way is it different from discharge? Mine has certainly ramped up in production anyway i know that much x
