***** October 2015 Mummies ******

I never thought about practicing breathing... thought I was doing well enough for the past 29 years but perhaps I will read more about relaxation breathing

People keep asking me if I packed my bag yet?! They are stressing me out so I've decided to wash clothes on Saturday and pack the bag beginning week 35! :)

I'm with you Karolina, I've been doing this breathing thing for nearly 33 years without a problem lol!!

I've mostly packed my bag now due to last week, hubby is paranoid that they'll just keep me in at 1 of my appointments if things aren't satisfactory.

I have a confession to make, I sneezed last night & peed myself!!!! I'm mortified & now paranoid that it will happen at work!!

In day assessment this afternoon for a bit of mointoring/check up xx

Hope all is well at the check up and there is no need for you to stay in again x

Sorry, I shouldn't laugh at you peeing yourself but it was to funny not to! I can't imagine peeing myself at work... maybe I will start carrying a set of spare clothes in the car... just in case

Me too!

Thanks for the support ion peeling myself LOL!!!! I know, think I'm going to carry spare set of clothes to work just incase! Thankfully I was in the house when it happened lol xx

I've peed but not a full pee but definitely some came out lol
That was when he was lying on my bladder though hes been sidewards a ehile now!

I can breathe however I know when in pain i hold my breath
So that means no oxygen (or gas and air) will travel to the muscles to do their job when they really need it and the muscles wpuld fatigue a lot quicker
I think its about mentally being aware and getting a rhythm going lol

I mean, we should really take every opportunity to learn how to minimize the pain so if practicing breathing is one of the things that you think will help you, you should definitely go for it!

Is anyone thinking of renting tens machine??

I just need to have the thought drilled into my brain
And hubbys
Cos i know for a fact I'll just hold my breath lol

Nah not liking the thought of tens
Think id prefer a hot water bottle

My mum has a tens machine she used on drop foot she got after a hip replacement, but it is rarely used so im going to borrow it and if it works for me great if not then we haven't lost anything.

Cant say I've peed yet, but no doubt it's gonna happen.............!

Haven't peed myself...yet!

I bought a TENS on eBay, didn't have much luck with it when I trialled it the first time and it's been sitting on a shelf ever since. If it's a dud I might rent one, I've friends who said they were quite good :)

Having the worst reflux day today...ugh...makes me want to get sick. Miserable :(

Be careful with that... Midwife warned us to only use tens machine specifically design for labour contractions x

Try your hospital for rental. Mine rents them free of charge when you pay £20 deposit that you get back once you return them x

Well ladies, BP still high, now on tablets to try & manage it. I've no longer to attend MW antenatal appointments, I've to go to maternity hospital instead, back on Thursday for more mointoring xx

Ps pee'ing yourself is no fun!! Lol!

Baby is pressing down on my bladder & that's my excuse LOL xx

Poo that your BP is still up, but you will be watched v carefully now, so good that you know & BP is being controlled with medication.
My BP behaved itself today which was great as it was starting to increase a little & I was worried it would be up again. Unfortunately there is nothing can be done to prevent it, main thing is its diagnosed, treated & ur watched carefully.

Feeling rather nauseous again today, anyone else feeling like this? Nausea/heartburn, bit like morning sickness as it subsides a little when I eat but so don't feel like eating now baby is getting bigger & starting to press more on all those internal organs.

Still end is in sight ladies, only 3 more weeks in work & 6 weeks altogether before due date!

Not peed myself yet, but every time I stand up I have constant urge to pee, when I do it's sometimes only a tiny amount, obviously it's baby bouncing on my bladder lol

I def have that Sharmon, my reflux gets so bad I feel really sick. So yucky. I feel your pain.

Will look into renting a tens, good idea Karolina :)

I haven't had the pee thing in a while
I am badly suffering with heartburn though
Thought id be lucky and not get it (since I've more or less had everything else lol)

Hows everyone stretch marks coming along?

Shelley, hope your bp comes down on the tablets.

Gail, don't suffer, there are several nice safe meds for the reflux. Ask your gp. Honestly anything you can ease at this point, do it!! Bio oil has held off the stretch marks for now again, but my skin is pulled so tight I don't know if it will hold much longer!

Can't believe how close it all is now. I did my last on call day yesterday. It didn't disappoint.... 90 patients called up! Finally got home at 8.30pm but spent most of the night pacing our bedroom with the most appalling braxton hicks. Don't remember them being painful??? Totally thought I was going into labour at 12.30ish but some paracetamol calmed things down. Just this week and next to finish out. Don't come early baby!!

Ladies, hope your BP, reflux and sickness behave and leave you alone to enjoy the remaining weeks of pregnancy!! x

I hope I don't jinx myself here but so far I've had very little/none reflux or sickness. Stretchmarks are not yet to be seen (bio oil addict here) but my skin is also very, very stretched so I wouldn't be surprised if they made an appearance towards the end.

My LO was practicing acrobatics at 3:45 this morning! I went to pee and when I came back to bed she was stretching and rolling and kicking - you name it! I really couldn't get back to sleep. And once the acrobatics stopped I could feel her hiccuping like never before. Needles to say I am pretty tired this morning.

Anyone else started to sing/play music to the bump? I got my hands on Disney songs (piano only) and been playing it in the car to and from work and then through earphones directly to the bump in the evening. I will be putting the very melodies into her Cot Mobile toy that has an option to plug in your memory stick with music. Hope she like it :)
