***** October 2015 Mummies ******

Are these tests for PE georgesmum??

I've been ok today with heartburn
Think it was the muffins maybe as theyre the only thing thats new

I feel terrible today
Cats were meowing and up to mischief at 3am which woke the dog up
I dont trust him not to toilet in the house so up i got to let him out
Then once downstairs the cats ganged up on me to feed them meat (I havent been giving them much lately cos of the heat + flies = maggot eggs at this time of year)
And true to form as soon as I got back, bubba decides to have an aerobic session in my belly!!
So that was me well and trully awake !
Do you think theyre always up at those hours or do you think we just disturb them first and that wakes them? Otherwise i normally sleep through the movements I guess. Although i am up enough times peeing to have him disturbed. He normally has a wiggle after a night time loo break but this mornings one went on forever
The dog was leaning against me and even he got annoyed and got up and moved elsewhere lol

Im sat in the livingroom which looks like a hoarder lives here
The entire contents of my kitchen are here
The builders in whacking my kitchen wall out. No going back now!!

No new stretchmarks here so far. Though I think I still have some "give" in my skin from last time. My stretchmarks from last time have become more visible again, but I expected that.

I thought I had gotten away without stretchmarks last time, had none up until 2 days after my due date. Then: BOOM, they appeared overnight.

They don't really bother me too much though, I never wear a bikini anyway, and my OH doesn't seem to mind them either, so...

I think that is the case and we do wake them up when going to toilet at night. And no wonder since in my case getting up from bed feels like a major exercise... and one, and two and three and... up!!! ;)

Hope your kitchen gets sorted soon!!

I've got loads of stretch marks
None new though
Theyre all totally silver/white from my fatter days
I've still got quite a lot of give in the skin tol its not tight or anything yet
I occasionally whack moisturiser on
I think they're hereditary so if youre prone to get them then you'll get them no matter what
I dont want more but if i get them i don't think I'll be too fussed. They all go silvert eventually anyway
Hubby loves me regardless so im not too bothered x

I've got loads of stretchmarks but most from last time!

Ugh feeling rotten last 2 days just want to sleep all the time and have zero appetite, only eaten a cheese toastie today :( can't seem to get any 'get up and go' oomph, my poor son is so bored when I'm lying on the sofa nearly all day :(

Itll teach him a good lesson in how to occupy himself and play on his own bunny

You need to eat more than that though
Think youve got a bug? X

No stretchmarks (yet), I'm sure they'll rear their ugly little purple faces later on. I feel like I've a good bit of elastic in my skin for now.

Today i'm going to try to take my wedding ring off. I showed it to my consultant and she was very serious about me getting it off now, rather than later. The annoying thing is that my wedding ring is an eternity ring...if you know what I mean. It's ruined if I need to cut it off!

Take it off for safe keeping
Better than it being ruined x

Knocking back the pints of water at the moment, will be doing Fliss's trick of the ice water above my head in a couple of hours.

I probably should've taken the wedding ring off when I got the e-ring off but my knuckle was battered after that ordeal. I even had bruises and a little cut!

I've been doing a fair bit of swimming lately and weirdly I seem to have sprained my fingers in both hands. I don't think that's helping matters. i've tried changing my form in the water but I think I must be doing some crazy hand stuff when I'm in there. I'm not a particularly good swimmer so I reckon that has something to do with it! Picture a not very elegant baby orca bobbing about and that's me :)

When I get it off I think I'll wear it on a chain around my neck :)

I got it off...oh my god the pain was excruciating. I hope I can get it back on after the baby arrives :(

I ended up having to use the string/dental floss technique

Shoot, Fliss!! Your poor finger!! Good thing you managed to take it off and it doesn't have to get cut and ruined :)

Ps. Please do tell how one can sprain their FINGERS while swimming?! haha

How hard are you paddling?
Use your legs. Not your hands as oars lol

lol, I don't know! I thought maybe I was swimming with my fingers splayed but holding them together doesn't seem to make much difference! I'm pretty pathetic in the water to be honest.

I was going to hold off on swimming because of the sprain but now that it's off I'm going to head this evening, I can live with an achey hand! it's lovely being in the water, the feeling of weightlessness is amazing. :)

No but sounds like youve been using them tight like one lol

My finger looked like that for 3 days after the rings came off but it goes down. Sorry it was so horrid though :-(

I suspect the finger pains are to do with the swelling and pressure on the nerves running into the hand and fingers rather than a sprain. I find both hands tight and achey mostly in the morning but also randomly through the day and definitely more with exertion. Oh the joys!

Trying to get through this last full week at work but with 2 out of 5 docs off its chaos. Nearly there, end in sight. Just don't come yet baby!! Getting very vicious braxton hicks now, don't remember them being painful last time, but I'm having to puff my way through these buggers and they're coming in little runs which gets meall ansty and anxious that II'm going into labour.
