***** October 2015 Mummies ******

So ladies, has anyone got any feeling about when their bambino will arrive? ?

There is a vast majority of ladies in my family who have had their babies 2.5-3.5 weeks early, which has made me think I'm going to be looking at the front end of October. .. There is a baby in the family that was born weighing 14lb in the 70's. Luckily that's association by marriage so I don't have to worry about that one! !

Bloody hell bugger pushing something weighing a stone out your foof!!

Im impatient so sods law he'll be late and I'll have a November!!

November baby**

Anyone still undecided on names? X

Omg, 14lbs! There's no way I could manage that.

We're 100% decided on our first name but still dithering about his middle name(s) :)

I've got a bad case of nesting... I spent the whole evening 'measuring up' and deciding on furniture. I found out last night that Our landlord can't take away the bed in the spare room/baby room which means I need to be very creative with the space we have. I went all out with my planning, even went as far as creating a mood board! Interior design programmes have ruined me :lol

Yep no name for us, well nothing that we can agree on! My second was our biggest at 9lbs cant imagine having a 14lb baby x

We have decided on a definite first name we both like now just to decide on a middle name. I'm going to do a list of things to get as inspired by you ladies I need some organisation in my life! I have ordered a double buggy for baby and toddler so at least that's something...I had my whooping cough jab last Tues and am next due for another scan and clinic with consultant next week. I'm a little nervous (for nothing probably) but it will be nice to see my little baby girl again :)

I'm still undecided on names. Cannot decide at all.

As for the mattress we spent £130 on it from the local baby centre. Middle of the range.

I know the feeling. I've a scan and with my appointment next Monday...the more information you have the worse you are sometimes! His head has been in the 95th percentile and it's starting to freak me out a bit. I'm hoping it was just a bit of a growth spurt :)

But as you say, it'll be lovely to see our little ones again :) not long now til we get to meet them!

Gosh! How did I miss so many posts?!

Re. midwifes rushing the appointment, I find that it's best to book last appointment of the day. By then my MW is relaxed and up for as much chat as I want. Saying that my MW is leaving the job this month and I will be getting a new one...

I got the whooping cough jab few weeks ago. Didn't find it at all painful.

14lbs?! No, thank you!!!!!

I have a strange feeling our one will be a week early. Maybe I will go into labor during the full moon 28th September?

At the last scan we found out that our little one has a slightly bigger belly (1 week over) and slightly smaller head. Needless to say I was quite happy about the head being on the smaller side ;)

QUESTION: Any of you noticed increase in CM lately? This week I am noticing my underwear is defiantly more damp, sorry TMI x

Glad you mentioned this!! I said to the MW today about the discharge, been told to stick a pad on for 1 hour and if its wet when i take it off phone triage for them to check its not my waters!

MW checked and baby is head down (its wasnt sore at all Karolina), heartbeat and everything is sounding good :)

Iron is a little low but not low enough for tablet so they'll check again in 3 weeks at my appointment.

Its starting to get real now..... arggggg xx

I'd always thought he'd arrive late (he might take after me and my poor time keeping skills!) but now that he's measuring quite large we shall see.

I've started to cut back on the sugar as much as I can, large babies can be a result of gestational diabetes! They don't do GTT as routine here so I haven't one, I suspect I might be borderline as I've PCOS and the two are linked. Mind you, gestational diabetes leads to large mid-sections/abdomens, not heads!

I am gobsmacked!!!!!! Midwife two weeks ago said that in cases like mine the placenta does NOT move!!!! Well ladies it has moved and its completely out of the way!!!!!!!!!!! I just don't believe it!

No early admittance and a natural birth!!!!!!!!

Georgesmum, wonderful news!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy for you x

Shelly, thanks for sharing about CM. I don't have enough to soak a pad within an hour so that made me feel better x Glad to hear from another one of you that checking for baby position is not uncomfortable, starting to look forward to it now ;)

fantastic news Georgesmum :) I'd say you're delighted! Will they be monitoring it over the next few weeks anyway to make sure it stays out of the way?

I've quite a bit of CM too, starting wearing pantyliners the other day. I got my dr to check I wasn't leaking amniotic fluid a few weeks ago and all ok, it's all par for the course of this pregnancy lark :)

Georgesmum how fantastic
Thats brilliant news!

I've plenty cm too
Bleugh
Sometimes im undecided how yellow is yellow before it starts to look a hint of green
It comes and goes though
I have got panty liners but forget to put them on lol

Great news Georgesmum. Does this mean normal delivery for you now?

Yes, I'm part of the CM gang too...bleurgh!

I'm getting over the uti now, and actually discovered that some of the "pelvis pain" I'd put down to SPD may well have been the uti as its all got a lot better!

After this week I've only got 4 weeks left at work and one of those is annual leave - yippee! I've also been assigned a (really good) trainee to help me with the on call on Mondays now, so that will make a massive difference to the stress levels.

I have a poorly toddler with a nasty cough and temperature since yesterday too but thankfully my mum has come to the rescue so got a bit of rest and some crucial self maintenance done! Tending to the bikini line has become a bit of a challenge now!!!

Urgh I've had the cm for the last 2 weeks glad I'm not the only one!!!!

Wait until it's the plug in our pants that is the really boke stuff!!!!!

Yeah for placenta moving! That's such good news!

Soaking knickers here too...!!

Won't be long till we're on snot watch xx

So happy to hear that your placenta moved, Georgesmum - fab news!

I got this beauty in the post today! And when baby is not yet here, but mummy wants to test the new baby carrier... This happens

Very ready for a new little bundle to cuddle and carry close now!

Love the pictures patchy! Must ask about whooping cough jab at next appointment, I should really write a list before I go in. According to my bloods I'm anaemic so have been put on 3iron tablets a day, hoping it perks me up as I've been feeling super tired, went to bed at 7pm other night! Sorry tmi alert, but they have turned my poo black, instead of constipation I'm getting quite loose stools, is this normal when you go onto iron tablets or have I possibly picked up a little bug!!

As for arrival, I'm not sure, I was induced early last time due to severe PE, but am trying for VBAC this time, they said all going well they will allow me go up to 10days over, have a feeling I will go early! Girls in my office in work have sweepstakes & vast majority think I will have baby before due date!
