**** November 2012 Mummies **** (everyone welcome)

Hi everyone

J had a lovely birthday, thanks for the birthday wishes. We had a big party with little ones, family and friends.

He's almost walking now, confidently cruising and pulling up on everything. We're also getting a few words that sound like words, although I don't think the purpose is there, it's just random. But he's coming along with making the right sounds.

Our house now looks like a toy store and already I'm getting requests for what to buy him for Christmas. Im happy for people to buy whatever they like, but I'm not giving suggestions. I'm happy for vouchers that I can spend on him in the summer, but he has so much at the moment.

I'm back at work now, just one day a week. And I've started a volunteering job, which I can do with J along.

Well done to all the November babies - it seems they're all coming on so well :) I can't believe they are all a year old!

Jackson is probably 100 times more hard work now than he was when he was a new born LOL - he just does, not, stop! LOL I enjoy it throughout the day but when it gets to teatime-ish I need a sit down.

Had OHs dad on at me for OH to do his driving test, I says well with work he hasnt really had the time his reply was "a driving lesson only takes an hour, you can do them at night you know?" I says yes I know but what about me? I get up with Jackson, take him to nursery, work, get him back in the afternoon, clean the house run around after Jackson, sort his tea then its bath time/bed time I literally dont sit for a minute now days and he says "if Jackson is the problem I could get Irene(mil) to watch him for the hour" now. I didnt for a second say it was Jackson, what I says was OH is out all day he walks to/from work then when hes home he sees Jackson whilst I wizz around and get things together. (you know how it is). I am quite annoyed at that comment - purely because 1. As soon as FIL and MIL get in from work at 4pm they dont leave the livingroom never mind house and 2. MIL has access to Jackson when ever she likes - she knows I finish work at noonish and yet, never bothers. As if I am going to ring her and say "oh Davids goin for his driving, can you come sit with Jackson for an hour whilst I just have 2 seconds peace?" What the hell is that about??!! I am actually getting more and more annoyed with his family's attitude towards Jackson, theyv not seen him/had him in months, they are a 10m drive away they have time constantly for the other two, then when they do see me, they make out ohhh we never see him bla bla.

Sorry one rant to the next there LOL! Feeling a bit annoyed today, I should be fine once Ive had my can of coke :D

Happy humpday girls!

We are having a horrid day :(

A started coughing yesterday and had a stuffy nose so we thought och she's just got a wee cold, but today her cough as been horrible. Soooo chesty and she is totally inconsolable after napping as obviously lying down is making it a lot worse. I took her to the docs and they've given her antibiotics for it so hopefully they will start working soon but she's been in bed less than an hour and a half and she's already been awake twice! I've given her a pillow to try and help her breathing a bit but I think this is gonna be a loooong night...she's so ill poor thing - I just want to make it go away for her! :( xx

Oh dear :-( I hope she's feeling much better today.

LO was up at 3am today, and had to come in bed with us… bluergh. I am not the biggest fan of co-sleeping… but it's either that or no sleeping at all!

He had his 1 year imms today. Obviously he cried, but didn't take him too long to recover. Hopefully he'll be okay for the rest of the day… fingers crossed!

Hey girls

Hope everyones doing good - we are off to the doctors. 4th time in 5 weeks as he was diagnosed with croup after second GP visit, told to wait 2 weeks after steroids and the cough is no better off - he was coughing all night in his sleep, im not sure why he didnt wake with it LOL. He woke this morning with a totally green nose, all boogers so off to the Drs again, think he may need more anti biotics.

Poor wee J :(

** update** Have been given an inhaler, apparently he has the cold which is causing the runny nose, however the cough is nothing to do with the nose so she has given him an inhaler and if it isnt away in 2 weeks he is being referred for asthma testing.

As soon as I get the piccies back I'll post some up. Off on honeymoon tomorrow for 5 days to Norway to see the Northern Lights and Lyla's godmother(sil) is having her for us. Going to miss my baby girl but my God I won't know myself with 5 days off!

Just saw the thread about James, hope all is ok xx

What a perfect honeymoon. The Northern Lights are on my to do list.

Make the most of baby free time as you certainly wont get much when new bub arrives tee hee
